| chairship chapter 1 . 8/20/2015
Oh my gosh, this was so beautiful. The way you wove the past into the present, I could really see the journey Blair and Chuck took with one another from such a young age to their last moments. What an amazing writer you are, I am so happy you decided to share your talents with the Chair fandom. Loved this so much!
| SiriuslyGeorgia chapter 1 . 5/12/2015
No I'm not crying there's just a chuck bass in my eye
I've never imagined them getting divorced, but now I think about it it's totally inevitable at some point (and so is their reunion)

Oh i am a blubbering mess. Clothes stained with my tears. Dear LORDDD that was incredible. I can't even, just, not coping with the epicness that it was. Just like our CB, EPIC FROM START TO FINISH. I'm not even going to attempt to say my favourite parts because I adored and loved everything. Thank you for this xxxxx

What an incredible swansong you are one of the very few who can capture the characters of Chuck and Blair very well. From the witty banter to the way they argued and the way they could just be themselves with each other from the past to the present from before to after. I'm not going to lie i might have teared up a bit but that is because of your incredible writing ability. You had them down. I like the past, the before, the little snippets and the vignettes of their life; the moments that we didn't get to see: them as teenagers, them as parents, spouses, the way they were with their children.
I liked the quiet declarations of love how they just knew and how they felt each other have a presence together. The limo rides kids and as them older just as much as i like them old-gray hairs and then just getting to know each other still.
I like the little details he put in: how Henry was the one who bought Victrola, how they have a daughter named Audrey, how they got divorced twice and married again because they couldn't stay away. I loved that he was stubborn and she was still a bitch and that at 73 he was still is arrogant and smarmy as he was at 17. But it was still the mama bear, taking care of everyone, taking care of him making sure he didn't lose himself.
I like the nuances of Nate and Serena even at Lily's funeral with everyone wearing white, something just so Lily! how Blair and Serena played with the children, Avery and Audrey, staying to watch them grow, kissing foreheads and reminiscing. The digs at Dan Humphrey still made me laugh (B calling him Gossip girl was classic)
I love how you went back to all the pinnacle moments of their relationship that made us fall in love with them, Paris and monte Carlo, the green coat, headbands and bow ties. The subtleties of things you made a possibility, how they could realise their past mistakes and only grow stronger from them.
You gave us them growing old together. Bones wuthering away and the great love that couldn't stand the test of time, a son who loved them, friendships that did last forever.
It was 16k but it was perfect and I can't lie and say I won't miss you writing them so perfectly because I will. Your writing is incredible because you captured their essence. I hope that you will continue writing even for you because the way you write is something that everyone needs to read and appreciate.
Of all your o/s this is probably my favourite and what a damn good way to go. So here's to the fandom, to you and Chuck and Blair!
P. S wasn't exaggerating, the writing is that good! *blows kiss*
| Dr. Holland chapter 1 . 11/6/2013
Gah. This one-shot DESTROYED me. As much as I loved every bit of it, as addicted as I am to grown-up Chair and their kids and friends? I can't take the idea of their death! IT'S SO HARD!
You are soooo talented. Can't wait to read more of your stories!
| PeacefullyJos chapter 1 . 10/29/2013
"This was... AMAZING." I loved every second of it!
| June.Louise chapter 1 . 10/27/2013
This was Beautiful. I loved how you mixed the past with the present. You could really tell while reading that you've worked hard on this and thought it through. Everything included was relevant, and you're an extremely talented writer. It's amazing to read fanfiction written in such a good way! I'm glad you're sharing your talent with us through CB and I do hope that you'll continue to do so. You know I love Wires and On taming the stars, but a good one shot is also Amazing :)
| katcelarity chapter 1 . 10/26/2013
This story is absolutely fantastic. You captured them absolutely perfectly and some of the lines really were seemingly beautiful especially how you brought in the lyrics from when they first had sex. Truly full circle. On another note this has been bothering me for a when you said the line "When fact was fiction and fiction was all we knew," did you get that from the song Lack of Color by Death Cab for Cutie? I really like that song and when I read that line that is immediately what I thought of. However, in the song the lyric was, "This is fact not fiction for the first time in years." Your line was almost the exact opposite of this, but yet weirdly the same. Anyways I really loved this story and I was just really curious about the similarity between the lines. Great work!

can I just say that the lyricism of this piece was so profanely foreboding that i read it from start to finish with one breath. how fittingly and poignantly tragic...
