|Reviews for Seeing Through The Lies|
| fantasydancer chapter 1 . 2/28
I have finally watched Thor 2, thank goodness, so I allowed myself to finally read this . So well-written, as all your stories are. I loved the ending alot when Thor smiles and calls Loki a liar. Great job. Please keep up the good work!

I thought you might have a Thor 2 fic up and my faith in you has been rewarded. Bravo. I'll be curious to see how Marvel ties up the loose ends in a future Thor movie.

Omg, this was amazing! I just saw the new movie..and wow I loved it! xD If Thor had realized in the end that it was Loki and not Odin on the throne...it would have been epic! Just picturing a brotherly spanking like this from Thor would have been very satisfying haha!

Oh, this is a wonderful - if a bit heartbreaking - tag to the ending of Dark World, Fox!
Very well done; and well written, too. *applauds*
I really have to say, I love your idea of Odin falling (back) into the OdinSleep after receiving the message of Loki's death, what with the strain of Malekith's war against the nine realms and losing his wife also weighing down heavily on him. It's not only a very fitting but also logical explanation for his absence - one I surprisingly didn't even take into consideration before - because there is simply no way Loki would have dared sit on the Throne like that if he had had to fear the AllFather's return any minute.
Whyever Loki returned, I agree wholeheartedly that his rescue of Thor and subsequent injury wasn't one of his illusions. The God of Mischief did sacrefice himself for his older brother in that fight - and this conviction showed in Thor's behaviour in your story as well, even though in his mind he might not have been entirely convinced, he knew all too well in his heart how his brother told the truth then and there.
That said, I'm not sure whether or not the injury was fatal per se or if Loki exaggerated and staged his dying breath in Thor's arms in order to avoid, if nothing else, going back to his cell afterwards. And who could possibly begrudge him that, much as he certainly deserved getting locked up to begin with, right?
Thor spanking his younger brother to punish him for attempting to kill him on numerous occasions - even though it stands to reason had Loki seriously tried to get rid of his brother permanently, he could have done a much better/thorough job of it - was a pretty effective and personal means to make the God of Mischief feel sorry. And it worked, too!
Your whole story was basically a very touching and convincing story about the two princes of Asgard FINALLY setting their differences aside and making up again - probably until their next run-in.

It's a great story but the spanking was just so random XD But I like the story, the spanking.. just.. out of character.

AHAHA! I was just sitting here after seeing the movie, refreshing the page as I waited for Thor 2 fanfics, and here you are. And let me tell you, you did not disappoint! x)) I really, really want to watch that death scene again. And possibly read/write a fanfic for it in the near future. x))) nicely done, the spanking. Haha I can actually see it happening x'D
