Akieryn. embarrassed chapter 2 . 4/14/2006 Wow. This is shockingly embarrassing. I had two stories open at once and that last one was obviously not for this fic... If anyone is curious it was for Season of Healing by Dien Alcyone and I think I'll just run off with my tail between my legs to go submit it properly. feel free to remove both of these. Very very sorry. |
Akieryn chapter 1 . 4/14/2006 Just... praise. This is amazing and the characters are stunningly brilliant. You do Harry perfectly and Snape is so wonderfully frustratingly Snape but with all the other layers that we never get to see that would actually make a relationship with Harry *work*. The childish arguing in the library especially since they were finally on the same level. The violin scene was amazing, by the way, I could see the light glinting off of Snape's hair and the body of the violin. (I can also see that library and oh how I lust for it...) You even work in some amazing original characters in the animals and house elves, roles that need to be filled and it works so perfectly... Ways for Harry to learn about Snape, things that make his house believable. I love Macavity, Poe, and Fenris. Even the ghosts just make the whole thing *work*. You've provided me with an awesome couple of hours (or however long I've been reading this, dead to the world). I would give a lot to see this 'true love' blossom but as soon as I hit the end I went on a search for more of this fic on your livejournal and yahoogroups page and sadly discovered there was no more. An excellent story all the same and I can only hope I can find something else nearly as good. If I do I can see myself becoming a Harry/Snape fan. No idea if you still even read these reviews, but thanks for the labor of love that goes into writing fanfiction. It made for a great story. |

ShadowBallad chapter 4 . 12/15/2005 Poor Hermione...I almost cried with her! And poor Severus! Getting hit and punched, scratched and bitten by a hysterical teenage girl! He was brave to stay in there with her! I'm checking out your profile to see if there is a sequel. I loved this story, it was very good! Cheers, Ballad |
ShadowBallad chapter 3 . 12/15/2005 Oh, no! Poor Hermione; her family was such a lovely bunch of people! I hope they're all right! I actually liked this chapter; although Snape was absent, it's Christmas time as I'm reading and it put me in the "holiday spirit." Very nice, and a gut-wrenching plot twist - onward! Cheers, Ballad |
