Stop challenging me to think when I read. No, don't stop!
| Guest chapter 3 . 11/14/2013
It took me a long time to read and make sense of this. I would recommend readers to read it and keep trying, it is worth it when you understand it. Especially if English is not your language, like me. When I got there I agreed with the reader before here who said they enjoyed each word because they are cleverly chosen I see now. Very good for improving understanding of English for me. Thank you

1. Oh wow. So few words, and yet so full of passion. Exquisite.
2. And then - wham - you just pull the rug out from under my feet (and now I understand why you didn't put them all on one page!). Cruel, you are...
3. Chilling. *shudders*
A. Can't get any more perfect than that!

You're the only person I can think of who is capable of making something so short yet so perfectly... complete and full of meaning.

These dribbles are so curious. Makes me want a full length story to go with them. Great job. Hope for more.

Took me three reads to fully comprehend and *believe* what you were saying here!
I somehow expected a third J/C drabble to complete the geometric picture... but the Fermat point needs only two auxilliary triangled to be found, right? :)
So the Devore are coming? Eeeee! Where can I get my tickets to the first row?
And now every word here makes perfect sense. "Phantom scent" - gah, how hot and descriptive it is! You tell a whole background story with a few chosen words.

Ooh, yummy angst! *gobbles up*
I love lost possibilities like having never learned the language. Newly-stamped lettering is a nice detail, too.
And it's very different from the first chapter! I wonder if they are somehow connected?..

I don't think I've ever needed that much time to read 100 words.
I had to google Fermat Point and Xtabay of course... and while both wiki articles were equally enlightening, Fermat Point was such a special turn-on for me! Science *is* sexy. Even tho I should have remembered that particular thing from geometry at school :o
And then came the drabble itself - 100 words where each and every one had to be read carefully to see all the implications. You distilled it perfectly. The "sensing distraction" bit is my favorite here, I guess, because it speaks volumes on how well they know each other already :)
