I liked Simon's White Day problems. His inability to figure out what to do entertained me greatly XD

I love this story and seeing Simon in denial for his growing feelings for Athena. Romance can always spread through affection for someone! I can't wait to see when Simon will finally come to terms with his love for Athena!

Anyways, nice chapter! I like how Klavier is trying to be buddy-buddy with the obviously standoffish Simon! I can definitely see him trying to do that. Also, it's nice to see Maya introduced too! Especially with how she said goodbye to Edgeworth haha. Simon seemed so cute in the last part but also so sweet to even draw her something.

Oh gosh, 'calm yourself, you dotard' had me. Simon's inner angst is just far too amusing. And Edgeworth's 'someone who appreciates the true taste of tea'.

(And of course Edgey-poo. I seriously thought for a moment that Oldbag had returned, and it scared the living daylights out of me. Then I remembered that Edgeworth put a restraining order on her, I believe...)

I'm looking forward to how you decide to employ Simon's coworkers - Klavier for obvious reasons, but especially Fiera, because she seems super straight-laced and that just seems like it's going to have a good backstory for it. (Is there going to be double-dating happening a la Klavier?)

Otherwise, I don't have anything to actually say, other than that nothing stuck out as particularly strange. I really appreciate the details - they're definitely things that I can see Simon poring out a lot of thought into, and then there's not much in the places where he probably wouldn't be interested at all, so it seems reflective of his thought process.

Whoops, forgot to write a review for this but I swear I read it the second it came out, haha.

POOR SIMON that sucker, getting walked in on by his sister. It's true that it's very different from what we know of Simon in-game, but we see so little of his out-of-court persona that the situation doesn't seem implausible. And... well, he's a man. (Not that I'd really know.)

And at least the chocolates shows Athena's care for him! I think that the exchange over the phone at the end was my favourite part of the chapter. Especially Athena's last line, I can totally see the angry Athena sprite in my head as I read it.

Haha, great story so far. I'm having fun reading it. I love how Athena acts around Simon. It's as if she's making up for lost time, and it fits their storyline. Really well written. (:
Poor Ema, though! Having to deliver chocolates to and from Klavier. XD I love the little references to other characters you drop in, too; it just makes the story feel more complete.

Hahaha! You did the thiiiiing! The erotic dream thing, I mean. Awesome. I thought it worked out well, and I liked how you wove it into the rest of the plot (what with it being an impetus for Simon moving out of Aura's condo).

Anyway, this whole chapter was probably the funniest yet, and I don't think Simon was OOC. You do need some silly moments alongside the serious ones, after all. And aw, him still keeping the charm she gave him is so cute.

The only criticism I have is that I'm not sure Blackquill's loooong ellipses work that well in a narrative. I realize he does it a lot in the game, but it starts to look a little weird after a while in a story. Again, this is just my perspective, and it doesn't really take away from the fic at all.

Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to read more!

I had a strange sense of reversed deja vu when I read the beginning of this chapter, because I'd just been idly thinking about writing a Cykesquill story that would begin with Athena having an embarrassing dream about Simon and being interrupted by her alarm clock. XD

Oh happy day! I thought I was the only one who had an all-consuming interest in Athena Simon post-AA5. I am really enjoying your characterization of the two, even Aura being so teasing of her little brother. There was a particular line in "January" I believe where Athena's demeanor reminded Simon of Dr. Cykes and I just found that SO POWERFUL. I really enjoy the anecdotal, linear formatting of these snippets of Simon as a free man and you write very well. I am super excited to continue reading this, you've got quite a fan! -Kaz

This chapter felt like a collection of mini-stories, mostly lighthearted or comical in nature-which is fun for me. I laughed at the whole backstory behind Simon getting caught with "wanking". Yeah, this guy's definitely a virgin. *brick'd* And Athena's derp of giving him drugged chocolates was ridiculously amusing.

'Been to hawaii'? HAH, I've lived here my entire life! And when I saw that reference...
