Great chapter! How could you even think about making it a one-shot?! Make it a full story, if the rest of it's as good as the first chapter, I'm staying until the last page! Really like the idea of a Jaune/Weiss pairing and I think you're doing a great job at it. Awesome work, and keep writing pleeaasee!

Amazing story so far. I love the way you show how Jaune interacts with the characters. I love the parts with slade and especially kia, is there a possibility we will see more of her? She seems as a little sister/ best-girlfriend to Jaune. The way you give Jaune his backstory is marvelous, the way it is presented is better here than in most fics I read. From what I see this is going to be an amazing storyline that'll have me waiting everytime I am not on the internet. Please update soon.

Wonderful story! I'm starting to enjoy fics where Jaune is shown to be much more than the lovable coward he is in the canon (even if that trait is featured earlier than it is in the actual episodes). It also opens up windows for new interactions we have yet to see in RWBY, such as Ren and Blake, Nora and Yang, Pyrrha and Weiss, and possibly others. If you're able to keep going, I think you should do so. It seems very promising should you choose to do it. :3
