Rhea and Handsome Squidward!

Hi, just checking in hoping to see an update haha. Summer has kicked in and now I’m hit with a wave of nostalgia, as I initially stumbled upon this fic during the summer of 2017 while on vacation. I can’t believe so much time has passed since then, as rereading this never becomes old. Really I can’t begin to describe how refreshing this fic was for me. It introduced me to the SI/OC reincarnation genre, which has become my main guilty pleasure. The main reason I read fanfiction is to lose myself in the story, and there is nothing more interactive than imagining myself in the shoes of Rhea Jackson. I always found it funny that I was roughly the same age as them, being born in 2003, when I read this the first time. It makes me wonder where they would be now, roughly aged 20 just like I am, in this universe. I know my life has changed a lot since then, but my love for this fic hasn’t. This website might be full of self insert fics across various fandoms but I haven’t come across one that is close to the quality of writing that yours has. I love the long drawn out paragraphs, linking Rheas old life with her new, which is something I’ve found here that is really special, as I genuinely feel like I’m not just following the story but the character as she develops. The detail in creating an ambience, the character development of your OC’s, and even canon characters, the interesting twists (FEM Luke? Luke with BOOBS? Still not over that btw). Overall just perfection. If you’re reading this, I know life is complicated and oh boy my life has been, but if you ever decide to follow through with this story, I’ll continue to tune in loyally.

Also love the bits of old God power that shines through the human persona they have (like Dionysis and Chronos).

For your question as to what pairings..I'm not sure what pairings in what Fandom you are asking about. Your story? Percy Jackson Cannon? Everything? So I'm answering all of the above:
I'm just getting back into the percy Jackson series (I don't remember much from the series i read when i was younger). Annabeth and Percy was cute tho from the pins I was seeing in Pinterest.
Weirdly hoping for a Chronos and Rhea Jackson in this. Not sure if that's morally right or if it's ever going to happen but yeah.
Typically I go for an OC/whatever-male-character-im-into but Hermione Granger does seem to use a lot when not an OC. Hermione/Grindalwald is honestly so awesome (Dreams -idk author- is amazing -if intimdating- if you're interested).

This is interesting but once again I think it’s just so irresponsible and crap for these Greek gods to keep having kids with mortal women and forcing them to raise them alone…for a brief time. Like a huge burden from day 1 for literally everyone but the god involved

I think this is my favorite 1st chapter of a SI reincarnation fic. I dont know what made this stand out to me its hard to explain but I know I'll never feel satisfied with less now.. haha

Awesome. I just reread this and it's as awesome as I remembered it to be. Maybe more so, because you know, my handle on the language is much better and I've been on a greek binge lately, so... Has it really been more than five years since I've read this? Such a shame. But other than rambling about how awesome this is, again, let me write down my theories.

1. Chronos. Okay, so, I have to admit that I went and read the side story before writing this and WOW it just makes so much sense why Chronos is dogging her every step. A few eons with her in my pocket, I would probably be trying to crawl into her pocket instead for the companionship. He's really lonely, huh? And really baffled. I think, since he's time and exists all the time everywhere, that he's even more baffled that every time he interacts with her, something else changes in the time line. But he also wants to stay linear and in her time, because he can't really pull himself away from her company. And that only baffles him more! Cuz he likes her. So instead of living everything everywhere at once with her, he stays sort of grounded, clinging to her like her soul had clung to the marble in his pocket. Adorable. My theory, or my head-canon if nothing else.

2. Linear time not being linear is my second theory. That daughter long ago that Rhea reminded Chiron of? Probably Rhea. Probably also what Chronos gifted her that made her melt into a puddle of bliss, since he said something about giving her more of his power and how it would change things later on and that it would be proof about multi verses. Also, I suspect, a way to insert this OC into other fandoms (which is an excellent way to make more SIs stories, I know, because I've written something similar). Anyway, I'm rambling. I just think time travel and a bit of non-linearity is the future of this story. Sounds cool! And also why I think this has been on hiatus. Sounds really tiring to write.

This is an absolutely hilarious read and I love it, hopefully at some point in the future you’ll be hit by inspiration and I’ll see more of it! I adore Rhea and Dag’s friendship. It’s funny and snarky and quirky and kinda reminds me of my best friends.
