Don’t remember if I commented on here before or not. But once you started sakura bashing I knew the story was gonna just suck for me. You kept letting you’re personal feelings for Sakura show every time you had aiko even think about Sakura.

my god, this is a great story. I'm normally skeptical of a lot of stories now as they are power trips and poorly written. this is a true ninja world. the characters are written extremely well! The politics and political intrigue in this story is subpar. Characters have personality, motivation, and passion. they are very much so their own characters that happen to intersect with aiko but do not revolve around her. her unique origins do not give her an unfair advantage. Im excited to continue reading and seeing how the story xoncludes

please god do not have Kakashi and aiko together that is gross and very inappropriately emotional for both of them.

That you're making me come up with reasons why the embodiments of the Sage of Six Paths blah-blah-blah have every right to be reality-warping forces of blah-blah Buddhist hermeneutics and the bodhisattva blah-blah... and I even think the notion of canon storylines is silly in this medium.

Ehh... Hidan can regenerate from precisely what the Plot says he can regenerate from. Because if we're being strict to established materials the flesh can stay alive when lopped off, but it certainly can't move or reattach itself when disconnected from the brain. That's why he has to be sewed together, why his head and body don't auto reattach, and ultimately why Shikamaru's plot is effective.

Hidan's body wouldn't be able to reconstitute in original show because, if nothing else, his skull/brain is still in pieces that can't move.

But as a reader I'm down for following the plot to a mystical telekinesis!Hidan, so let's do this thing.

The Omake in chapter 69 reminds me of Vixen Tail's tall dark and snarky, Renato Sinclair.

A brief word about tone: too much of one color, unrelieved, makes for a less realistic reality. Put another way... I agree, ninja life would be far more grim and gritty than it is typically depicted as in the manga/anime. However, if you want your tragedies to be striking, your depressed funks to be poignant, you'll have to have some cheery brightness in there, if only for contrast.
Characters who are defined by only one tone tend to come off as two dimensional. Kakashi should be able to laugh sometimes, Hiruzen shouldn't *always* coldly and robotically calculate the most strategic path, and even your main character should be more than just a perpetual reaction to the violence of it all.

Without laughter tears lose their effect (and while that may be the point of a depressed character, it wouldn't make sense for a whole society to be depressed like that, else nothing would ever get done).

Nadeshiko village definitely picked Konoha and Mist because both have woman Kages lol

I love this fic. I really truly do. But as a self-proclaimed Obito fan girl, your characterization of him is… odd. And OOC. It surprised me because every other character has been so well done. It just seems odd that you would make Obito so… insane. Sure in canon he had a few screws loose, but he was reasonable and logical. Post talk-no-jutsu Obito even seemed to be relatively normal. As far as I’m aware, even Naruto couldn’t turn someone with voices in their head and absolutely off their rocker to a relatively normal person from one talk-no-jutsu. In other words, Naruto wouldn’t have been able to save Obito if he was truly as insane as you’ve made him out to be.

That being said, your Tsunade, Kakashi, Sasuke, and Aiko are beautifully done. I especially loved the argument between Aiko and Kakashi. I’m on my third(?) reread of this fic and it’s just as amazing as I remember.
