Reviews for The Dark Ones
CookieMonsta1233 chapter 9 . 6/28/2014
Ahhh...
So it was the Necrons...
It all makes sense now :)
TheSolInvictus chapter 9 . 6/28/2014
Holy sh*t its Imotekh himself! thats one of the best Necrons strategist there is
(my third most favorite Necron first being Trazyn second being the Silent King)
ANd yes i was right! Necrons for the win! and the poor imperial SOBs that think they stand a chance against them (its clearly visible that im a Necron fan, isnt it?)
But there are two things that irritate me...
THE F*CK does Imotekh want with the elements of harmony? wait could it be that those are Necron artefacts? (at least in your story?)
2. Necrontyr? yes i know that since 5th edition (or was it 6th?) the Necrons have rebelled against the Ctan and mostly fragmented them but still i dont think that they would call themself Necrontyr any more...
Skepsis Forever chapter 9 . 6/28/2014
Sad end. But surprising. I have to admit I wasn't expecting who it was, you made no mention of it, but I guess that is the point. Is this before first "official" canon contact, or is it just the Inquisition dispersing the information on a need to know basis (i.e. you need to know if you met them already, or if you bribed, tortured, etc. for the info)?
Also, "they will not find us such easy prey" *does an impression of psychotic Twilight hysterical laugh* Ok, so the Imperium sometimes doesn't make it easy for them, but they have few victories against these guys.
And as you may have noticed, I've bent over backwards not to spoil the boogiemen to the unaware reader just now browsing through the reviews.
Eipok chapter 9 . 6/28/2014
Necrons aren't typically known for psychological warfare. I was sure it was the Dark Eldar.
Eipok chapter 8 . 6/26/2014
By Nurgle do I hate the Dark Eldar. They terrify and unnerve me like nothing else.
TheSolInvictus chapter 8 . 6/26/2014
Hmmm that pretty much confirms that the attacker can only be Necrons or Dark Eldars
But i have to say its more likely the Dark Eldar the Necrons could do it and i dont know which Ctan or Necronhighlords uses such Attack patterns... (except the Flayed ones)
BUT there is also the small chance that the attackers were Tyranid scouts... Genestealers/Gargoyles/Lictors as a team could produce this pattern but it is like i said a small chance of being them, would at least explain the missing bodies...
Eipok chapter 7 . 6/24/2014
Yep, Dark Eldar. I hope that, in breaking Twilight's mind, she's opened to Nurgle's influence. He could save her, and help her persevere, help her survive, even help her fight back and decimate the Dark Eldar.
TheSolInvictus chapter 7 . 6/24/2014
Intersting chapter well writen and without greater errors i like it
and the possible attacker are Dark Eldar or some organized Flayed Ones... (Necrons for the win!)
i mean these guys are known for there horror attacks also these guys have teleporters the dark edlars have Mandraks so they could just have sneaked in...
Eipok chapter 6 . 6/20/2014
Well, that's interesting. It seems likely that it's the Dark Eldar at work here, rather than Chaos.

Also, where'd you to? I missed you!
Trar chapter 5 . 3/24/2014
Keep writing,.
Skepsis Forever chapter 5 . 2/3/2014
Aww, that was mean. Looking forward for more.
CookieMonsta1233 chapter 5 . 1/27/2014
I cant tell if I want the 'xenos' to resist or not...
Hmmm
No Country For Old Men78 chapter 5 . 1/27/2014
I admit it, this is an absolute riot to read. Well written and done from the perspective of a member of the Imperial Inquisition. Keep it up!
Eipok chapter 4 . 12/22/2013
I sincerely hope Twilight succumbs to Nurgle and brings His embrace to those poor sods on that lonely ship.
Madman With A Keyboard chapter 3 . 11/29/2013
I hope the Tai find Twilight and 'rescue' her.

They'd be at least KIND to her.
