| Anne Onimousse chapter 1 . 11/19
This is such a sweet story. I love how you've aged Scout and Miss Pauling, especially when it comes to their relationship with each other. The many Proposals idea is a great one and fits perfectly with Scout's character. I can totally see him being floored every time Miss Pauling says yes.
Well done and thank you for the story :)
| Razell chapter 1 . 8/28
I see the quicklime industry is still going strong.
Ah, the dreaded 'pear shape', I know it well. Aging is a real beach.
I see Scout's still as devoted and loquacious as ever. He makes me think of the classic love song 'I only have eyes for you' by The Flamingos. I also noticed you never refer to him as 'Scout'. He's probably not a 'Scout' anymore, he's moved on to bigger things.
They had better have children, or his Ma is going to go bonkers.
Weddings are just like respawns, apparently. Only less bloody, unless they have to assassinate someone in attendance.
It's sweet, except for all the killing people parts.
| Calliecature chapter 1 . 2/25/2016
I love imagining Scout still looking like a boyish man and Miss Pauling all mature after twenty years of being married. You got their characters down the pat and believable in here and their interactions are funny and flirty (mostly with Scout, I wonder how their kids handle that) and still bloody. Just as always.
