I can really see how concerned Arthur is for Merlin, as well as Gaius. Such a hard life Merlin has had and I hope that he will be able to trust his friends soon.

Yay Percival! Yay Gwaine! The knights are reunited! So sad that Lancelot is dead. Would have been interesting if he'd made it to the story in this day. Ah well. C'est la vie, as you put it. Hopefully, Elyan finds his way back to them. And they really have to do some intervention with Merlin. Hope he comes around soon. Good chapter.

Poor Merlin. So sorry he’s had a tragic and troubled youth. No wonder he’s edgy and doesn’t trust anyone. When Arthur asked him if he was mad at him for dying, though, that made me chuckle. Merlin had every reason to think that Arthur was mental after saying something like that. LOL. I really liked how Dr. Gus slipped so easily back into being Gaius, his immediate honorifics to his sovereign, being the thinker and problem solver that he always was, his concern for Merlin. And I’m glad he pointed out right away that Arthur wasn’t back to unite the kingdoms, though I look forward to finding out why destiny has summoned them and how the OAFK prophecy ties into it. Poor Arthur. Missing his mate. I could really feel his disappointment that Merlin didn’t recognize him and then his pouting when he felt that Merlin probably didn’t even like him was cute. I hope Gwen gave Leon a heartfelt hug when they saw each other again. This chapter is really good, lots elegant words and thoughts that moved me. Well done.

Arthur and Gwen are adorable. I appreciate that their love is just as tangible, alive, as it was back then. The cautious Gwen and confident Arthur, though, is spot on and I’m thrilled that they found each other so soon and are together, or will be together.

Lunch?! It’s great that he wants to make a standing lunch date right off the bat, but I’d think after all this time, they’d want to hook up right after work. Like, “What time-?” “Six!” “I’ll pick you up at 6:01!” LOL

I think them remembering through dreams is clever, learning bits and pieces of their former lives and realizing that the dreams are more than that when they recognize people from their pasts. Can’t wait until you bring them all together, and if Lancelot will be a problem if he returns. Very, very curious as to why they are back, and as Arthur and Gwen both asked, why now, why there in the US?

Bro I have read this fic several times, and sometimes it will still show up in my searches. And like, I can’t. Every time I see this fic I just think about you specifically pointed out the Red Lobster in Lanham MD because I freaking know that red lobster. I’ve passed it. I pass it all the time coming off of what is, I believe, 695, and it kills me every time. Because every time I pass that red lobster I think of this damn fic. It has never left me. Wow. This was fantastic. Wish there was a little more to the ending though. Maybe something about Freya and Merlin- introducing her to Arthur.

I love the change in dynamic in their relationship, as now they're on more equal footing and Arthur, having not had Merlin's support since they met again, has now learned to appreciate what an important friend Merlin is. I love it!

Finally, Merlin's remembered! Man, that ending is super cute, I'm overloading from all the fluff!
