I've said from the beginning this is an AU and that its a bit dark.

Yeah nah naruto is to nerfed in this you have somehow given him the juubi and made him weaker than canon, not for me sorry.

So, while I find the story interesting, Naruto's powers seem be rather inconsistent in order to fit with the story you want. Like in the first chapter you say that it took 1000 men to kill him before. I would guess that he was going all out, which would definitely require more than 1000. Post 4th war Naruto could level mountain ranges if he wanted to, and he should be way stronger here. Then he punched that Kiyoshi girl with 20% power and she was still able to get back up. If canon Hokage Naruto punched a civilian with 20% power they would instantly die, and this Naruto should be much stronger than that. Then there is him fighting head on for no real reason. He complains about having to deal with those like Zuko and Azula but doesn't use any of the many tools he should have at his disposal to quickly and easily deal with them. Like using the Sharingan to put them in illusions, using the rinnegan to absorb the chi in their bending, using fuinjutsu to immobilize them, using his extreme speed (or hiraishin) to slam something metal into their temples and knock them out, or use that speed to hit pressure points to immobilize them, etc.
Another inconsistency pops out, as well. Naruto said he was previously killed in the early days of the war, so how does he know Iroh? Iroh shouldn't have been born by that point, and there is no mention of Naruto leaving the South pole after reviving, as evidenced by him being shocked and angry when they went to the air temple. Since the air nomads were massacred in the beginning of the war, it would suggest that he hasn't been around the countries since those early days, and thus couldn't have met Iroh what sounds like many years earlier. Hope some of this helps and thanks for the story.
