| 50ShadesofCray chapter 1 . 12/21/2013
Adorable. This read like such a typical teenage crisis in which a boy needs his mother's immediate attention to address is concerns, and Sharon's like a busy single mother trying to multi-task while getting ready for a date. LOVE. Just love.

This is adorable, I love little Sharon and Rusty moments like this. And I love Andy/Sharon. :)

Great job. You nailed both characters perfectly. I love the part where Sharon stops what she's doing to actually listen to Rusty and he knows that she cares about him. I also love that she's nervous about her "not a date."

So true- this must have happened. Thank you for capturing this moment I would have much rather seen (who needs to solve crimes!).

I like it. I like it very much!

Oh my god i LOVE THIS! THANK YOU for taking this entire Andy-Nutcracker thing and the Rusty-is-a-teenager thing (face-flop on the couch!) and putting them together into this story! Basically you took two adorable snippets from the episode and managed to combine them in a 'whole-is-larger-than-sum-of-the-parts' way that just made them 100x more amazing. :D
I don't even know what to comment on! Haha 'are you injured'? I heard my own mother, who always replied to my own teenage CRISES with 'is anything burning' or 'is there blood'? (and then I'd be like, "No, MOTHER, OBVIOUSLY, but it's urgent because I can't find my blue boots and where did i put them omg?!"). Then there's Rusty thinking that Sharon cares, which *heart*. And the Christmas tree in every room, oh Sharon could you be more adorable? And then of course Rusty's realizations at the end, and his reaction - PERFECT. I love how you didn't write him reacting very strongly to it, it's more like, 'hrm, this is weird and slightly out of character for Sharon, but okay, well, guess she's happy so...'
(when I say out-of-character, I mean for Sharon to go on a date at all, not for the way you portray her which is always in-character and spot-on and perfect!)
Rusty's thoughts and behavior throughout are so amazing. You capture him so well. I love this story!

Once again, you're going to kill me. Only this time, it's from sheer adorableness, and I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.
Headcanon accepted. This totally happened after the episode, and nobody will convince me otherwise.

I really like this. I was sort of surprised that she agreed to go with Andy so quickly, and that she let him off the hook so easily. I think she is onto his need to be with his family, though I do hope it goes a little, okay, a lot, further. :)

Love it! Despite everything he's been through, Rusty is still a teenager. As a teen myself, I can see how important it is for him to have his concerns addressed IMMEDIATELY! Lol
He's so wrapped up in his own "world", that it takes him a minute to realize that Sharon is going on a "date." Lol
He even remembers to tell her that she looks nice. Loved it!
