Um, why did the Elder look so terrified when she had seen the portal? Was there a story there?

Back to magical girls and their fangirls, Nabiki acting all blase about having "a Yori, and a Chou" was a hell of a lot of fun!

Really, my only complaint is that the chapter is so short! Kidding really, but as you know time flies when you are having fun and the chapter ended far, far too quickly, so good it was!

Oh gosh. You just had to make an awesome driving scene, did you? Approved!

Um, I don't recognise the joke about Detroit, sunglasses and police. Source?

And so the spy drama begins in earnest. Oh well, it wouldn't have been fun if it was all solved easily. Though I am still surprised I have a lot less to comment on than on the previous chapter.

Come to think of it, I would like to see a little on the statuses of other Senshi now.

Also, about the durability spell on the car. I've actually heard that modern cards are usually DESIGNED to squash in collisions in order to bleed off energy and momentum, to give a degree of protection to the passengers. The spell might interfere with that, so one would need a measure of inertial dampening to prevent a hard collision from catapulting the driver through the window and into whatever collided with the car in the first place.

I am very grateful for the story and your determination to actually finish it. And all the other story bits you are planning.

For the Ms Aoyama one-shot I guess a possible intro would be to have her interact amicably with Hotaru, to remark on the unusual reaction by the adorable little Soldier of Ruin and Birth, then go on to the meat of the one-shot. Your annotation for DSR already establishes that it's a sort of a Sailor Moon crossover, and the interaction would establish Aoyama asa good acquaintance of the Senshi. You can also use said intro for giving the main establishing traits for Ms Aoyama. Or alternately, yet another thing you can do for her one-shot is a montage of reactions to her at the beginning.

Incidentally, what did happen to "Xander meets Ms Aoyama"?

Finally, for the prequel? I'd like to see... The trial and error montage for the roofhopping training method (specifically, working out the kinks in the method), a bit of magic learning, and the discovery of the melding of illusions and Jusenkyo curse, even if the latter is only a remarke on finally being able to sense how intricate the curse really is, followed by a pondering murmur of "I wonder...".

Now, about the story and the reaction shots.

So there's a limit on how powerful a given person can get at magic and ki? Oh poo. But, how can it be measured, defined and modified? Also, yay for larger freight teleportation!

And I did like that showing off moment with the casual standing-on-the-tilted-car. :)

Oh. And I see Mallet-sama make a brief return to Akane's life. It was a good joke, as was reintroducing Danny the movie fan. Even if he was practically begging for some chastisement from Ms Aoyama! ;)

Only up to chapter 12 so far. But your description is off. Sounds like a Sailor Moon cross right from the get go. Could be wrong, but descriptions make it sound like the senshi are the ones Ranma is most annoyed with.

This is a really well crafted story.

That's fine but I'm not sure the world could hold both Azumi AND Ms A.

Well it looks like Gosunkuni gets off again. Considering that this is more par for the course for him, well I'm not that surprised.

It looks like Chiyoko may be drafted for some target practice. For some reason, I'd love to see Chiyoko's mom attend a few sessions at the range planet. Everyone knows just how bad of a shot Chiyoko is. It would be nice if she was getting some training. Also it would be fun if Ranma figured out a way to put her staff in "training mode."

It seemed like Nabiki was just a tad too familiar with the magical girls life style. Maybe that's just from reading it at a distance. I like the bit with Kimiko that was nicely done.

I liked the bit with Ami switching, but actually really didn't notice it. It was more of an after the fact Ami was just debriefing the rest that she'd have only made it through due to Nabiki's feeding the lines.

Some one mentioned that would make a good plot hook for future reference. I'd like to see Ami tell her mom about her other life. That's one of those things that I do like about Chiyoko being that her mom is in the know about things. I sort of feel sorry about her mom though. Where as all the other mothers of magical girls could brag on their daughters... she'd have to face palm about her girl's newest antics.

I really enjoy the Nabiki-centric parts of this, but the whole story is great. Don't worry about RL, everyone's gotta deal and if someone doesn't understand that, they're not worth listening to.

Wow, you're really on a writing kick! Nice wrap up in this chapter. Of course, my brain is still interpreting "mountain soarer" as "pterodactyl" and then belatedly adding feathers to the image. I should track down your original description of the things, though I'm not sure that will help. Pterodactyl is too ingrained. :P

Anyway, fantastic story! I desperately need to go back at least a few chapters and reread to pick up some of the characters and plot threads I've dropped, as you seem to be picking up a biotoxin plot I've forgotten. Still, I can follow the majority of what's going on in that cliffhanger, just without the background. I'm so glad you've come back to this story, and look forward to the next installment!
