Considering recent events, perhaps Anthony Murray and Václav should be re-interrogated for more about their contacts and "friends". Looking back, I have to wonder if Murray's story about trying to convert the portal bomb to a material transport system is actually a cover story.
I enjoyed the Top Gear allusions in the Haruka car-buying sub-plot, but wonder whether it really moves the overall plot forward.

The crack about British cars being pretty but needing Japanese engineering should be a sales slogan somewhere. It's too perfect!

Sorry for the lack of reviews, I have been reading this on my kindle and realized it had been several chapters. The bank incident seemed at first like a throw-in, but it clearly was not. I think that the hidden plot coming out of happy fluff is what I like best about this story. It is now into a definite third ark, who knows how deep the new trouble will run? In any case, very glad you are updating still, happy to see and follow each new episode.
Sever authors of fanfiction should think about writing professionally. You unquestionably belong in that group. Simply good fun.

I'm very happy that the Akane and Shampoo centric chapters are over and done with. I really enjoyed this one.

excellent chapter, I was thinking rouge nation from the last chapter, akane seems well enough for ranma and kasumi to reveal themselves. Keep it up.

I wonder if there will be a point at which they will have their alien friends put up some super spy stealth satellites in high earth orbits so that they can do detailed scans to track down the mysterious group.

Better is the development of a worthy adversary for Yori and company.
The Portal Bomb crew was not that smart. Dangerous yes but not the smartest or even very well equipped.
The Time Machine was also dumb if exceedingly powerful.
This new group has brains, backing, training, numbers, equipment, is well established, and will be a good long term enemy. The only advantages the Sisterhood of Doom has on them seems to be magic and the SI units.

I'd have a government agency make a few contributions to the case occasionally, having the Sisterhood solve everything would be a mistake.
