Hmmmm. It did hurt, you're right.
I'm confused though. Did she try to kill herself, and he came to save her, but couldn't? Or did he submit to changing her and lose control? I've re-read a few times and can't quite decipher.
Tragic. And beautiful. I love this.
| blueeyedcherry chapter 2 . 2/17/2014
Poor Edward. To give his heart so completely to another, only to have it yanked out, ground up, and spread around at his feet.
Alice was his saving grace here. And thank goodness he listened and let her be the voice of reason, no matter how unwelcome that reason was.
I enjoy these different snippets of different stories. And you know me. The more something hurts - guts me while I read it - the happier I am. ;)

| i.luv.twilight2 chapter 2 . 12/23/2013
Thank you for the explanation but even with the knowledge that the chapters are not related, I can't stay away. Edward's perspective in this one was original and had never occurred to me previously. Good job.
