To be honest, any of these stories where Humans DON'T use the Prothean technology on Mars, they probably should take so long making better space weapons/faster than light travel that they miss the entire story of Mass Effect, and show up a thousand or more years into the next cycle, with the Council races all killed by the Reapers... but that would be hard to write. :D

It's good to hear Orange is still around. What about Kaguya and Lihua (Tianzi)?
