| Lies-Taste-Sweeter-Than-Truth chapter 2 . 12/22/2013 I really like the style- it's almost as if Hermione is reminiscing about it in her own mind and the memories keep rushing and tumbling over one another and she is therefore unable to keep them in a straight, chronological line. But if anything, I think it helps us become more immersed in the story. However, I think for me this story is mostly unsettling because I have such difficulty thinking of Hermione as anything other than strong and unwavering, and you have presented her (quite fairly, to be honest) as struggling and almost-but-not-quite broken by all she has been through. I'm just stuck in a rut of hero-worship I think... But fantastically written as ever- can't wait for the other third. |
