This is my first time ever typing a review on a fanfiction story, and I'm very glad I came across this marvelous piece of work! I've been following along with your stories along with your other one-shots of Enobaria, Blight, and Cecelia for the last four years and they never fail to wow me each time I read them. Like everyone else has mentioned here, your character building is phenomenal for each and every OC victor and every chapter just fits in so well with the canon universe that Suzanne Collins created, even with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes having come out only last year. You are an amazing writer and your work on here has been wonderful (Hope this isn't too compliment heavy, haha, but I'm awed by these stories)

I really need to reread the Trilogy, I forgot how despicable Alma Coin is and how much I hated her. All those poor District 1 victors! And whoever else fell to Coin. Paylor is such, such a better option.

Still years after I have first read this, it will always be my favorite piece on here. You have created such great characters that I selfishly want you to continue this story. Maybe in the future when you have more time, and can continue with a world where the Games continued and the Rebellion failed

Goddammit Oisin, how did you manage to build up Suzanne Collins’ universe better than she ever did?
This is my fourth (?) reread and I feel I find something new every time. I love how you never spell things out—the most powerful thing for me this reread was how much is left unsaid. Why Jade was a rebel and Ermine wasn’t. Why Antigone was accused of rebel sympathies. What spurred Cotton to sacrifice herself, despite having lived her life in fear. I think some of your best chapters are those told from other perspectives—Maeve’s chapter is a masterpiece, the absolute best, in my opinion, and Cashmere and Berenice’s chapters hit me hard. Crystal’s chapter is also one of my favorites as it’s an absolute mindfuck trying to piece together who she really was and what the hell is going on.
The creativity and diversity of your writing is astounding; you include such small but meaningful details that truly bring the world to life. The cheesy Capitol drama about trains that boosted Chevy’s popularity, dirty morphling from 6, how women in 1 often go blind. Some details are so emotional in their brevity: this part about Ermine and the tribute she’s mentoring kills me: “She likes the girl this year. She's got passion but she's sort of sweet in an awkward sort of way. She reminds Ermine of someone she loved once, someone she's tried very hard to forget about for the past two years.” And this part isn’t even from Ermine’s chapter (which is also the absolute shit)!
How did you manage to bring to life so many original, memorable characters? You can only be a god.

This is one of my most favorite chapters. I don’t know why but it strikes a chord in me, which is saying something because all of your writing projects resonate with me on a personal level.

This motherfucker is so damn arrogant and- UGH. I can't even find the words to describe how much I hate this man, just by reading his transcripts. It makes me sick. Disgusted. Like holy cow, the history of white supremacy and the sheer amounts of... UGH, I CAN'T EVEN SAY IT. *screams*
