I'm still disappointed this has gone unfinished all these years. it and its predecessor were so good and I really wanted to see Naruto's effect on Deidara and Itachi. It's s true pity.

I've read through the first story recently and I've enjoyed this ride of a story. Honestly this is something I could see happening to Naruto. Hope you have a wonderful time mate.

I don't think the rules for the caged bird seal actually work like that, remember Hinata's and Neji's fathers were twins, which is something that really mess up a succession, because with only minutes in age between the 2 heirs, the older childs claim, is at most marginally better than the younger childs, so sealing one of them prevent an inheritance struggle, with Hinata and Hanabi, there's not that problem, Hanabi is years younger, so unless Hinata steps aside or disgrace herself, Hanabi can't easily contest her status as heir.

So personally from how the Hyuuga clan is portrayed in canon, I think that the whole the second child must be sent to the branch family, is only true for twins.
