One of the reasons why so many people like Percy is because he has a pretty sturdy backbone, not afraid to stand up even to gods at times. And like many others before me mentioned, this is complete opposite of it. I won't be stopping hoping this will go somewhere before the last unfinished chapters, but man the first 6 so far were chore to go through.

Percy messed up in letting himself get trapped by Aphrodite despite her already fucking up his life so much and Artemis has no idea of how to handle her feelings in the slightest. They both messed up and BOTH should say sorry. But none of this is an “OH MY GOD ALL THIS IS ALL MY FAULT HOLY SHIT I AM GONNA DIE CAUSE I AM SO STUPID AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!” It is at most a “Holy shit I fucked up what the fuck was I thinking?!” Kinda thing.
