A/N: SOOOOO SORRY ABOUT THE LONG WAIT! I didn't have internet all summer and then I got busy with school and stuff….I'm excited to buy a dress for homecoming though so that's a plus. I can't even remember what I was going to do with this story and since I've written it I've improved my writing style so this is my last chapter for this fanfiction. I'm going to continue my Eridan x Reader fic however and I'll start a new one if I get suggestions. GAAAAH AGAIN SORRY I feel so bad for making you guys wait. Anyways I didn't reread anything except the last chapter (Ok not even that, I skimmed it) so if this is nothing like the rest of the story then that's why XD ok, I'm gonna shut my big mouth and show you this story. :D
When friday arrives you sit through the boring hours of school before rushing home and sitting at your desk. You work on your homework so that you won't have any when you get back from your date. You start with algebra.
"find the square root of -25?" You read aloud to yourself. "Fuck that! normal numbers don't make sense as it is! why do they need to add imaginary numbers!?" You rage before throwing all of your algebra homework to the ground. You then grab out your english papers and write your rough draft for an essay, you continue this until you hear your doorbell ring. You let out a high pitched squeak as you run through your house and answer the door to find Dave smirking back at you.
"you ready to go?" Dave asks you.
"Yeah, of course!" You reply. He grabs your hand and leads you to his car that's parked in your driveway. You slide into the passenger's side as Dave stars the car.
"So where are we going?" You ask curiously.
"I figured we could go to dinner and see a movie after." Dave answers you nod with a smile still covering your face. You feel a buzz come from your phone several times and you pull it out. you received a message from Nepeta.
AC: :33 have you gone on your purrfect date yet?
AC: :33 did you have fun?
AC: :33 DID HE MAKE YOU A SANDWICH!?
SK: Calm down, Nep! we just left.
AC: :33 Is that a no?
SK: Why would he?
AC: :33 Yeah, you're right. that's Equius' job!
SK: Anyways, I'm not going to talk to you while I'm on my date!
AC: :33 Send me pictures of the two of you! I ship you two together
SK: I'm not surprised. I'll talk to you later.
You put your phone back into your pocket to see that you've arrived at a restaurant. Dave parks and both of you get out of the car and walk inside. Both of you walk inside together and have a waitress show you to a seat. You sit across from Dave as the waitress hands you you a menu.
"I was looking forward to this" You say as you look over the choices.
"So was I, and I think Nepeta was as well" Dave laughs
"Yeah, she loves shippings." You reply. The waitress returns to ask what drinks the two of you want.
"I'd like a (Favorite drink)" You say
"I'll take a glass of apple juice" Dave says after you. The waitress nods and walks away.
"You seem to already be used to our chaotic school" Dave says to you.
"Well, I find that "Choatic school" to be normal compared to other schools I've gone to" You shrug.
"That's an odd way of describing it" Dave raises an eyebrow. or at least you think he does, it's impossible to tell through his sunglasses.
"Well I'm an odd kind of person" You reply with a smile.
"Well yeah, if you weren't then we probably wouldn't be here right now" Dave says looking around. the waitress comes back and sets two glasses on the table and pulls out a pad and pen asking for your orders. After you both order she walks away again and the conversation continues.
"This was a weird week" You sigh
"I thought you said this school is normal" Dave says
"Well I didn't expect to have gone from having just a few internet friends to having several friends that go to school with me" You explain
"I guess that makes sense." Dave says. You both speak until your food is served and you can eat. After the meal (and arguing over who would pay) Dave pays for the meal and you leave the tip. Both you and Dave walk back to his car and leave the restaurant to go to the movie theater. The drive is short, and once you get there you make your way inside and buy tickets to (favorite movie) after buying popcorn you and Dave walk into the movie theater and sit down. When the movie starts you glue your eyes to the screen until you feel Dave's arm slip around your waist pulling you closer to him. You look at him slightly shocked before smiling and returning the hug. You continue to watch the movie until it ends and the credits play. Dave slides his hand to yours and you leave the theater. after walking outside Dave stops walking and you look to him to see why.
"So, did you have fun?" He asks sliding his hands down your waist pulling you closely to him.
"Of course I did. It was perfect" You smile, you wrap your arms around Dave.
"Good, I feel the same" Dave chuckles as he leans down to capture your lips in a kiss. He drives you home and you invite him inside. you both sit on the couch talking to each other for hours until it becomes really late and you begin to feel tired. you hug Dave and fall asleep up against him. You don't know exactly when, but Dave falls asleep with you as well.
A/N: Sorry, I know this isn't the best way to end it but I didn't know how else to. I can't think of a fanfic to start yet so for now I think I'll just stick to my Eridan x Reader one. Also I reread that and I remember posting something about a twitter and stuff and since I've completely forgotten the information for it I decided I'm just not gonna use it. Plus I need to make a tumblr anyways,YAY!
