Just a quick little oneshot. I don't own the Naruto series.

Sakura Haruno stepped into the bedroom she shared with her boyfriend, Sasuke Uchiha. She wore a bathrobe and was drying her hair with a towel. Sasuke sat on their bed, reading over some scrolls. Hearing Sakura come into the room, he looked over at her and gave a small smile. "Enjoy your bath?" He asked.

Sakura grinned and nodded. "That bath was beyond amazing! I really needed it after the day I've had. I feel much better now," she said, putting the towel down. She shook out her now long and flowing hair and moved to sit at her vanity, looking into the mirror.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," Sasuke replied, turning back to his scrolls.

Sakura pulled out her hairbrush and began working through the tangles. She frowned when there were a couple of particularly difficult ones. She sighed to herself. Her hair was now about the same length it was when she had graduated from the academy. She wondered why she had let her hair grow so long again.

"I think it's time to cut my hair again. There's just so much of it!" She said, struggling with another nasty tangle.

Sasuke looked up at that and shook his head, even though she was turned away from him. "No, don't do that," he said, standing up and walking over to her.

Finally managing to work through all of the tangles, Sakura was a little surprised when Sasuke came up behind her and began playing with her hair. "Don't do what?" She asked.

Sasuke ran his fingers through her hair, looking at themselves through the mirror. "Don't cut your hair again."

Sakura pouted. "But not only is it a pain in the neck to brush, but sometimes it gets in the way during missions. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't cut it."

"Because I like your hair," Sasuke immediately replied. Realizing what he just said, he stopped playing with her hair and looked away, blushing.

Sakura was a little surprised at his confession, but smiled to herself. Apparently there was some truth to the rumor she'd heard at the academy after all. "That sounds like a good enough reason. Since you like it so much, I won't cut it," she said, amused at how Sasuke couldn't seem to look her in the eye.

She didn't miss the small smile that he tried to hide. Maybe having long hair wasn't such a bad thing after all.
