Shinya

I saw my brother
Last night, in a dream
He didn't look the same
But stronger, braver
A hero to more than just me

His brown eyes were replaced with blue
His tame brown hair was wild and blond
He was fighting something I couldn't see
He had powers of fireā€”he never had them before
I knew him by his heart

He looked not like Takuya, but a Digimon
His voice was rough, used for fighting
He'd yelled a lot to aid his fight
But I still knew him
Because his heart was the same as before

Then I saw my brother
Last night, in my dream
And he was asleep, dreaming like me
I knew he was trying to make his way home
I hope his dreams will guide him here

Takuya

I saw my brother
Last night, in a dream
He still looked the same
Although sad but hopeful
A reason for me to come home

The mischief in his eyes was replaced with innocence
His wild brown hair was much tamer
He was flying through a lavender-blue sky
Beyond a large silver moon and gold clouds, trying to touch the stars
Although he seemed different, I knew him by his heart

He looked not like Shinya, but me
His voice was soft, used for whispering
He'd whispered his secrets to the stars
But I still knew him
Because his heart was the same as before

Then I saw my brother
Last night, in my dream
And he was asleep, dreaming like me
I knew he was trying to reach those stars
I hope his dreams will guide him there

I hope you like it, Aura. You can ask me to do any Frontier character based poem. Just put the request in your review! I unofficially claim the first poem/fic featuring or being about Shinya Kanbara, Takuya's brother. This is done through first Shinya's point of view, followed by Takuya's.
