When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed
Don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest

Linkin Park: Leave out all the rest

I could tell that she was shocked after I told her that I got my memories back. I think that part of her was afraid that I would leave her for going back to my life as an ancient vampire or wanting to kill myself again. I don't really know how I would have reacted if it was her that had lost her memory before even meeting me and then getting then back again just after admitting our feelings to each other.

Even though I still cared deeply for her, things were a little different now. I am not so naïve with my memories, because in two thousand years I have experienced a lot. I remember every one of my kills now, even if I didn't want to. I wasn't as depressed now as I was before, because I had Sookie now. I know it sounds like a sappy love story, so I am not planning to say it aloud.

After admitting that I still wanted her, Sookie went to the shower after taking some clothes with her. She told me that she didn't want me to wake alone so she spend a lot of time beside me. She was going to just lay beside me a little while before going to a shower or bath, but she fell asleep.

I promised myself to contact Eric more, while Sookie was enjoying her hot shower. I don't even know if Eric told my other child, Nora that I was alive. Did Nora even know I died?

I made Nora into a vampire in 1665. So she is a lot younger than my Eric. Nora had gotten the black plague and was dying, so Eric brought her to me and I changed her for him. Eric was impressed with her and I always thought they would end up together. I still believe that Nora feels something close to caring for him but all Eric felt for her, was lust.

I was pretty isolated from my children. I was just so busy feeling guilty about everything I have done in my two thousand years of being alone and pity over myself that I pushed them away. I was also feeling guilty over teaching them that love was a weakness. I was proven wrong with Sookie and I hope they will find someone special too.

Sookie came to the room wearing pajamas. This time she chose a tank top that said: "Laugh. Sleep. Love" and heart shorts with a little bow. She took her hairbrush and came to sit beside me on bed and that was the moment that I noticed that I hadn't moved even an inch after she left me alone with my thoughts. I took a hold of her wrist before she brushed her hair.

"What?" she wondered aloud, blushing. I still loved seeing her blush, especially when I was the cause of her blush. She smelled a lot more delicious too when she blushed.

"Could I?" I asked her. It had been a long time since I have enjoyed brushing someone's hair.

"Could you… what?"

"Could I brush your hair, my beloved?" I asked as I touched her just below her jaw line.

"Sure," she replied and I started brushing her carefully, not wanting to hurt her.

"You're really good at this," she told me after closing her brown eyes.

"Thank you. It has been a long time since I got to brush someone's hair. So you should be honored," I informed her.

"Whose hair did you brush then?" she asked me but I could hear jealousy in her voice, she was just curious.

"Eric's," I told her.

"When was the last time you did that?"

"When he was just few hundred years old and before that I brushed my mother's hair but I was really young so the memory is really unclear since it was about two hundred years ago, so I am unsure if it really happened." I said and looked at her reaction on what I just told her.

"I should visit Eric and his child soon. Do you want to come with me?" I asked her, because she didn't need to come with me.

"I can come with you, if you want me to," she said unsurely, but I knew she was just unsure if I wanted her there.

"Yes, I want to and perhaps you will meet my other child soon too," I told her.

"You have another child?" she asked me , turning to look at me.

"Yes, I do. Her name is Nora. I believe she is using Gainsborough as her last name. I made her about three hundred years ago for Eric."

"Now that you have you have you memories back… Could you tell me something about yourself?"

"Myself?" I wondered.

"Yes. Like… Something about your life as a vampire or when you were human?" she wondered, smiling at me and who was I to deny her? Even if I never liked to talk about my life to anyone.

"I think I can do that. I was born in the first century B.C. in Gaul, if I remember right…" I started telling and kept telling her things about myself until she fell asleep and I tucked her in.

N/A: I really should do some kind of timetable because apparently I am pretty bad at updating so I don't wonder if some of you have given up with this story.

This is kinda filler but I wanted to focus on how is Godric feeling after getting her memory back.

I'll be adding my fics to a wordpress site too if you prefer reading them there (link on my profile)…
