They laid there on the Doctor's coat watching the space jets fly overhead. Rose couldn't get over the heavenly smell of apple grass. She glanced at the Doctor as he explained how New Earth came to be. "He is so cute." She thought with a devilish grin. Her hand trailed across the coat and onto his hand.
He smiled and gently squeezed it. "This place is so beautiful." She said. The Doctor nodded. He then looked at her and said. "I'm glad you came with me, Rose." "I'm glad I did too." She replied. "I didn't think you would after I changed." He told her slightly hurt.
"That was only because I didn't think you wanted me around." Rose answered stroking his fingers. "Oh, I'll always want you around." The Doctor assured her. She smiled. "I know and I'll always want you around." "Really?" He asked.
Rose didn't answer instead she bent down and gently kissed him. After the kiss he smirked up at her. "Our first kiss." She grinned and kissed him again this time lingering a little bit longer.
Rose laid back and held his hand. "No matter what Doctor I'll never leave you." "You can't predict that." He pointed out. She shook her head. "I made my decision a long time ago and I'm never going to leave you." He smiled and kissed her hand.
Later that same year at the Battle of Canary Wharf…
"You'll never be able to see her again, your own mother!" The Doctor desperately yelled at her, hoping she would see the mistake she had made but Rose calmly looked at him and replied. "I made my decision a long time ago and I'm never going to leave you."
The Doctor was stunned but Rose didn't care she meant what she said and she was not leaving him.
Bad Wolf Bay...
"Rose Tyler..." his image and voice had faded. She stood there staring at nothing, the tears pouring down her face.
Her heart was breaking as she repeated her promise to the Doctor. "I made my decision a long time ago and I'm never going to leave you."
