So, this is kind of embarrassing for me to even have to write this message right now, but it is a message that needs to be written.

I started writing this fanfiction when I was 13/14. I had a lot more free time back then to write and also a lot more ambition to write.

I'm 17 now and have just found this story again.

I feel some shame for abandoning my writing, but I think it was necessary. I've grown a lot in the past three years ago and though my writing skills are nowhere near the level I want them to be, I think I'm ready to give this story another chance. Finally, I can give it the proper planning, detailing, and editing it deserves.

I want to start by revisiting old notes, letting the characters speak to me again, and try to help cajole the story along. I then want to start editing all of the current chapters. After that, I want to give myself and any readers an updating schedule. I don't usually believe in forcing words, but I think it will help me to stay focused, to stay motivated. Some weeks I may fail, some I won't, it's just part of the process.

I appreciate any past readers who are willing to give this a chance and also any new readers that want to stick along for the journey ahead.

Thank you to everyone who helped me have the courage to post this and to finally start writing again.
