A/N: Hey there all :) This is my first Eden of the East story! Although it's not my first fanfic, I haven't written in a while so it may not be the best.
Disclaimer: I don't own Eden of the East
"Identity found"
Takizawa stood on the roof of a twelve story building. "This is so much like New York City, but not" he mused. Thinking back to the only photograph that mattered he said "I wish I had a copy".
No matter how many times he had his memories erased, he would always find her again. Their love ran too deep to be forgotten. He could circle the world a dozen lifetimes, and still manage to find that beautiful smile each and every time. Neither of them ever said the word, but he hoped she loved him the way he loved her.
The third time he left was fourteen months and six days ago. This time he didn't have his memory erased. Now that he understood more about himself, and the world as well, there was really no use in erasing them. Besides, he remembered that when his memory was erased he felt like he was looking for something. When they found each other again, he understood it was Saki he had searched for. That huge essential piece of his life couldn't be surpassed by anything, or anyone, not even the desire to save the world.
He met her three years ago, and each time she was near, a welcome comfort overtook him. At the moment he felt that, and peered to the left. Several feet away stood the goddess known as Saki, waiting for the traffic light to change. He didn't need to see her face to know.
Slowly he walked the short distance, and tapped on the young woman's shoulder. "Excuse me, I lost my identity, could you help me find it?" What an odd thing to say, but hopefully she would recognize him.
She turned, eyes widening. He could see her lips quiver, nearly speaking, but she remained silent as tears began rolling over her cheeks.
The emotions which lit inside him were utterly indescribable. Brushing away her tears, he stated "I missed you Saki". Joy flashed across her face, along with a rush of emotions only the eyes could depict.
Clutching his wrist, she pressed their lips together for four amazing moments, then broke away. Holding his hand she pulled him into a jog which turned to a run, taking after his way.
They found their breaths again when the ocean was in view. Saki sat, and he followed. Scratching the back of his head he tried to explain, "Sorry I didn't contact you, I didn't have a phone and heh I never got your actual address, or e mail..."
Shaking her head she captured him in a tight hug and whispered "I love you Takizawa". Now everything was clear.
As they parted he noticed goosebumps come to her skin. Immediately removing his jacket, he draped it over her shoulders. "You know I love you too Saki" he shrugged "There's no way around it".
She mirrored his smirk, "I missed you".
With this sweet woman, he always knew who he was.
