Evelin watched out the window of her room that was on the second floor of the castle that she called home. Her eyes were locked on the two large wolves fighting over the snow covered landscape. 'Boys' she scoffed in her thoughts even though her wolf watched eager to join the battle

Walking up behind her silently was her older brother Slate, being the overprotective, grumpy butthead male werewolf that most of them were, he didn't even bother to knock. "Enjoying the show?" he asked as he laid his chin on the top of her head.

Evelin scoffed out loud this time "Yeah, its such a riot to watch two idiot dominant males try to prove who's stronger by ripping each other apart. Should've made some popcorn before they started." she snapped with sarcasm that was worthy of her mother and aunts.

Her brother chuckled and wrapped his arms around her. Eve felt her wolf relax in the comfort of his touch. "This is nothing compared to the amount of blood that will be shed when you find your mate," he joked "Father is going to kill him"

That's one thing that bugged her about being a werewolf, once she turned 18 she would be forced to be with someone for the rest of her life, she didn't know if this wolf would be someone who's pack or just a complete stranger, either way she was always fighting against her wolf when it came to the subject. "Great, another overbearing male to boss me around."

Slate's chest rumbled at her protest, "You know that is not true Evelin, everything we do is to protect you because you are precious to us."

Deep down she knew that but she wanted to fall in love over time not just because she was physically forced to. A high pitched whine brought her attention to the two wolves, her eyes widen when she sees the larger wolf takes the other wolf in its jaws, lifts him up and slams him down onto the ground.

Her heart raced as blood spurts from the smaller wolf's muzzle, "NO! Stop!" Evelin pushes herself from her brother's arms and heads for the door. Slate rushed after her as she rushes down the stairs and out the door.

"Evelin don't!"

She doesn't stop as she runs out onto the snow barefoot "Leave him alone!" she yells as she phases mid-stride and tackles the larger wolf

The dark burgundy wolf is knocked off its feet and rolls before it comes to and jumps back up baring his teeth at Evelin's medium sized brown and tan colored wolf.

The command forces all the wolves, including Valeriu, to their knees. Evelin accidentally falls on top of the wolf she was trying to protect as she looks up, she meets the bright glowing blue eyes of her Alpha

And father.
