Inspired by Snow Princess Kaguya of Sailor Moon S "Hearts in Ice"

Have you ever heard the story

Of the snow princess Kaguya

Who could freeze the world

With a single touch?

What would you do if I said that was me?

The world veers away

Once I am seen

I don't care

For my heart was frozen

But one person didn't run

I didn't understand why he just stood there

Even my best friends fled at my rage!

But he stayed

Blue eyes warm like candle flames

Unlike my violet ones of ice

Why does he stay?

Why does he help?

Why can't he see I want to be alone?

Why are my friends on his side?

How did they see past my icy façade?

Have you ever heard the story

Of the princess of snow

Whose closest friends

Remained to melt the ice?

What would you do if I said that was I?

With all of my friends

Here at my side,

I feel my mask slipping off my face

The snow has melted, yielding to spring

And I feel whole for once in my life

Akino: There's a Rika poem. I left my notebook behind today, so I went a little crazy with poems. I've got a Jenruki and a poem on Willis coming, and three Sailor Moon poems. I just have to finish the Jenruki, the Willis one, and one of the Sailor Moons. Review!
