Hey guys, it's been too long hasn't it? I'm so sorry, as I haven't gotten to grips with keeping my writing consistent. I had a lot of things to deal with plus going through my mental health problems. Iron117Prime has been patient with me, and I thank him so much for it. And I thank all of you for sticking with the story, sending me PMs hoping that I'm not giving up on it. The short is this: I'm not giving up on it, so I'm hoping I'll be back to regular updates. So here's to hoping things will improve in 2022.

Lily was slowly falling from the sky as the glowing wound on his stomach shot pain throughout his entire body. He looked up only to see the boy he had once saved, eyeing him with horror in his eyes. "My Prince…" he muttered.

"LILY!" Mystogan exclaimed as he, Coco, Gajeel, and Queen Shaggottt watched as his body fell from the sky, his wings disappeared and he disappeared down to one of the many metal buildings on the surface of the Royal City.

"That damn traitor!" Knightwalker thought as she eyed Zong.

"Damn you!" Gajeel exclaimed. "You'll pay for this!"

"Oh… you're new," Zong said as he looked down at the furious Gajeel. "Here's an idea, why don't you come up here and say that!"

"SCARLET!" Knightwalker roared as she looked at Erza and Azula, the Exceed holding up Erza was complaining about how heavy she was.

Azula rolled her eyes at Knightwalker. "Seriously… Obsessive much. You lost to her, get over it!"

They both noticed Mystogan looking down at Edo-Erza from his Legion. "You would dare point your blade at me, the royal prince of Edolas? Erza Knightwalker!?"

"Prince?!" Erza and Azula gasped. But Knightwalker could only growl.

"Prince?" Zong said, sounding as if he wasn't impressed. "Oh please, what is a Prince, compared to a God!" Others were still frozen in horror. His voice had returned to normal but his forks were still glowing. "Nothing like a lightning strike to the back to get the blood pumping. I almost feel better about not taking all of Edolas' magic. Almost." he smirked as he remained in the air. "Now who wants to die next, don't be shy. If you're brave enough, I promise I'll make it quick."

"No… please someone save Lily!" Shaggott exclaimed.

A female Exceed saluted and hovered in front of her. "Leave it to me!" her wings sprout as she flew down to where Lily fell.

The Dark Avatar though wasn't having it. "Ah... we have a volunteer!" he generated lightning in his fingertips.

Aang gasped when he knew who Zong's target was. "No Don't do it!" the lightning had struck the Exceed who was trying to get to Lily, and when she was struck, her body became limp and it fell to the city along with Zong.

"No heroic acts on my watch. Now back to business. Who wants to take me on? Anyone?" Natsu and Gajeel were glaring at Zong as he made his offer. "Well, if no one will step up." his eyes were covered by a bright orange glow and his Vaatu voice returned. "Then allow your new God to cast judgment upon you all!"

He hovered up even higher, but before Aang or anyone else could stop him, he blew a tremendous draft of air that managed to blow down against anyone who was airborne. They fought just to stay upward, but they watched in horror as there was a tremendous fireball above him, it grew to nearly the size of the previously floating lacrima island. From that pseudo-star, meteors of fire were raining down all over.

The fire meteors raining down almost as fast as hailstones, pelting and even killing some of those caught in their path. Some of those taken out were some of the Exceeds as many of them tried flying themselves and their passengers out of danger. Some unfortunately didn't make it. Some of the Meteors engulfed some of the free-flying Exceeds, and others grazed them, but this made sure that their wings caught on fire, burning their feathers to ashes, allowing them to succumb to gravity and fall either to the Royal City or into the endless sky of Edolas. There were shocked expressions from both sides when they watched Zong's massacre.

Once the meteors stopped falling Zong, looked down with an evil smirk. The winds stopped blowing down on all of them. Queen Shaggott looked out in horror as she has seen a lot of her people struck down, and massacred and there was nothing that she could do about it. It wasn't that long ago that her people saw her as their divine protector, but now she could only helplessly watch her citizens die in front of her.

"ENOUGH!" they heard Erza Knightwalker yell. "Forget about that traitor and focus on our mission!" she told her men that were on their Legion who were shivering from seeing Zong's heartless slaughter. "We must bring unlimited magic to our kingdom at any cost! Target the Exceeds, we must have their magic before Zong kills the rest of them," she commanded.

"E-even after all that!?" Katara breathed. "She still wants to-"

"ARE YOU DUMB!?" Sokka exclaimed looking down at Knightwalker.

"She won't even give her soldiers the option to escape…" Aang said.

However, Azula smirked. "Of course, she wouldn't let her men leave. Because at the end of the day." she pointed at Knightwalker. "You're just a damn coward! You could have come to fight Erza by yourself, but you've got an army behind you on those flying monsters no less."

Zong smiled. "Heh, I can't say you're wrong. She's always been my back up whenever I went wizard hunting." He eyed Knightwalker. "I might spare your men if you don't attack me from here on out Knightwalker. We can hash this out after the outsiders have been disposed of." Knightwalker only darted her eyes to Zong's direction as she focused on Fairy Tail and the remaining Exceeds. "Speaking of which..." He then raised his finger. "Now who's next?" He started pointing among the large group, looking for his next victim. "Eeenie, meenie, miinie… You!" his finger was pointed right at Lisanna. He formed another fire meteor above him and it was speeding to her at a fast speed. All Lisanna could do was brace herself, and there was an explosion that engulfed her.

"Lisanna!" Lucy and Katara exclaimed.

The white hair girl braced but found that the flames never reached her, instead she found that Natsu with Happy flying was in front of her. Flames covered his entire body. "I already lost her once. No one is taking Lisanna away from me again! NO ONE!"

"Huh?" Zong gasped.

"HAPPY!" Natsu exclaimed, and he didn't need to even ask. He knew what Natsu wanted and he wasn't going to say no.

"AYE SIR!" Happy shot up through the sky right to Zong while carrying Natsu. His right hand was covered in flames.

At the same time, the Edolas soldiers were charging forward with their Legion to capture and crystallize what was left of the Extalia population.

Gray eyed the charging soldiers. "Those flying cats don't stand against those numbers."

"I don't care!" they heard Wendy say with Carla keeping her afloat. "Carla and I are going to defend them, no matter what!"

Hen smirked. "Hehe, I like your fire, Wendy!" he proceeded to look around. "So… do we have a plan?"

Sokka thought for a moment as the soldiers were getting close to them. "We're outnumbered, and they will only come for the Exceeds. And we don't have time to set up a defensive perimeter. We need the Exceeds to gather around us!"

Chun nodded. "I think I can do that. Give me a few..." she looked at the Exceed on her back. "Take me to your Queen."

"S-sure!" Chun was being flown to where the Queen and the elder Exceeds were.

"What about the rest of us?" Zuko asked.

Sokka unsheathed his sword and looked forward. "Take out as many soldiers as we can, if we have the Exceeds behind us. Then they will need to breach through us. Zuko, Gray, Lucy, Katara, you're with me. We'll hold the front lines and fight off as many as we can.

…

Zong smirked as he watched Natsu come closer to him. He excitedly opened his mouth and stuck his tongue out. "Come and get some, Dragon Slayer!" he covered his right arm in sparks of electricity that tickled the air around him.

"You and I aren't done yet, bastard!"

*BANG!*

Their fists connected, blowing tremendous bursts of air that nearly flung everyone that were being flown by winds away. Fire, electricity, and air were dancing around them. Natsu was growling while Zong was only laughing. His forks were glowing brightly they both backed away from each other. Zong still had bursts of air shooting from his feet, keeping him in the air. "Man, you just don't stay down, do you? The hell do they feed you in Earth Land?" he sensed something coming to his right and he shot a look behind himself to see Aang within an air sphere hovering towards him. His arrows were shining bright white. "Tag teaming me again!? Good… I always love a challenge!"

"Last time, Aang and I faced you, it didn't end well for you," Natsu noted.

"Well, there were those distractions in the way, your quote, unquote friends! Plus, the last time - I underestimated you. Trust me, I'm not making that mistake again!" he took a deep breath. "Can you feel that…? The fate of Edolas hangs in the balance. If the Edolas Kingdom win, then they will continue to hunt for endless magic, if you Fairies win, they will eventually run out of magic… But if I win… Haha… Well, this world will be no different from mine, living in fear from their new ruler, a lifeless husk with no hope of revival. Then I'll use what little magic they have left, activate the Anima to head to Earth Land and do the same there!" he shook in excitement. "OH man, this is just sending shivers through my spine!"

"You're sick!" Aang exclaimed.

"Of course, you'd say that - host of Raava! But here's the difference between you and me. You fight for balance; I fight for dominance! And I've realized that people unite for one reason… Fear."

"Fear?" Happy asked.

"That's right bluey. You remember my world, right? Well, everyone, there is united in their fear of me! Some will try to hide that fear behind hatred, but it's all the same. That's how you rule, Aang. With a deadly fist!" he said pointing at him. "You've mentioned your world is split into 'nations'. Well let me ask you this, are those nations united in any way?" When he saw Aang bit his lip, he had his answer. "Exactly, of course, they aren't. This is what happens when you give people freedom, they become complacent, over-confident, self-serving… or that's what Vaatu tells me anyways. They start wars, slaughter each other - Far be it for me to criticize someone for slaughter but…"

"Get to the point!" Natsu roared.

"Alright, fine I'll speed this up for the slow learners in the back," he said waving a dismissive hand at Natsu. "Unity under one ruler is the only way forward, and those that disagree will face divine punishment. The Avatar's role shouldn't be to restore balance, it should be to rule while instilling fear in those under you!"

Aang let out a sigh. "Just shut up..." he said in a calm voice, which made Zong raise his eyebrows. "We can stand here, talking about our ideals all night, but none of us will be swayed. I'll never accept how you view, people and everything you've done to them, and you'll never understand that everyone and, even the Exceed's lives have meaning. Basically..."

"We'll never agree on anything!"

"We'll never agree on anything!"

Zong chuckled after he and Aang spoke those words in perfect symmetry. "Well finally, something we can both agree on." he eyed Aang before turning to Natsu. "I'm going to know what it's like to kill a Dragon Slayer, and a fellow Avatar. I dunno about you guys, but I'm excited right now," he said as he purposefully let his tongue fall from his mouth.

Below them, many of the Edolas soldiers on their legion were high in their numbers and looked to be holding cannons, the same ones they used earlier on Nichiya and his group to turn them into Lacrima. "Ignore, Zong. We will deal with that traitor later, what comes first is securing magic for the Edolas Kingdom!" they were aiming their cannons at the Exceeds at Knightwalker's command.

"Ignore an Avatar who has no qualms about squashing you under his foot?" Azula questioned. "Part of me thinks that if you don't engage him, you think Zong will leave you alive when all this is over. And that's all you are. A guard dog who will never challenge their master."

"Shut your mouth, you pathetic-"

"You know you can't beat him all by yourself, even with your men, Zong would wipe all of you to dust."

Knightwalker pointed her spear at the group. "I only answer to the King of Edolas, and his orders are absolute. All of your will fall before our might."

"Okay..." Sokka started. "Since you want to make the stupid decision and not fight Zong - Who wants us dead by the way! As long as we're standing, you're not touching a single Exceed here! We'll knock you off that flying beast, deal with that King. The Prince will take the throne, and we'll be back home in time for dinner!" Sokka said with a smirk.

Right at that moment, there was a loud static that was heard from all over. A bitter old man's voice was projected so everyone could hear. "Ha, prince you say!?" everyone was looking around for the source of the voice. "I do not consider you as my son!"

Mystogan gasped to himself when he heard the King speaking to him.

"That's the King's voice!" Coco noted.

"Huh?! Where is he?!" Lucy questioned as she looked around.

Zong, Aang, and Natsu hung in the air as they listened to the King speak. Zong let out an annoyed breath and closed his eyes. "Oh, here we go..."

"Running away for seven years? You have some nerve. Thinking you can just waltz right back here." Everyone was silent as they continued to listen to the king address Mystogan directly. "I am well aware that you were in Earth Land, sealing all the Animas. You traitor! You've signed your own death warrant!"

Wendy looked around as Azula hovered next to her. "Where is this voice coming from?!"

"Clearly this guy is too scared to show himself." she eyed Carla. "How is he projecting his voice like this?"

"I don't know. It sounds like it's coming from under the ground."

Mystogan looked out at the Legion that the Edolas Royal army was riding on. "Your Anima plan has failed. You've no reason to keep fighting like this."

One of the floating islands with what looked like a torn down, ancient Colosseum, was shaking violently as bright green energy could be seen pulsing from it. "You think I don't have a reason, boy!?"

"W-what's that?" Gray asked.

"I may be floating here, but... why do I feel shaking?" Toph asked, sounding very concerned.

"The air itself is shuddering from the magic power!"

Something could be seen digging itself out from the ground from the ancient Colosseum as the voice continued its tirade. "This is retribution! It's the total extermination of all who oppose the King!" Mystogan was surprised as there was a large oval-shaped object that looked to have been held down by chains right in the middle of the island as the dust cleared up.

"W-what is that!?" Lucy screamed.

"Some kind of magic weapon?" Katara guessed.

The King continued to speak as his angered voice projected outward. "If you intend to get in my way... I will end you, regardless of who you are! Not a trace of you will remain!" the oval object broke the chain and it began to float up into the sky.

"Father..." Mystogan muttered.

"I am not your father!" the King bellowed at the large oval was shining with white energy. The orb exploded outward, startling everyone who could see it. "If I wipe you out here, no one will be left to seal my Animas in Earth Land! I will have many more chances to create another enormous lacrima and fuse it with all the Exceed here!"

Queen Shaggott who was being held up by one of the elder Exceed gasped. "Th-that's..."

Chun hovered in front of her. "W-wait... is that?" the orb opened up into a large metal creature which stomped hard on the ground it stood on, swung its long tail upward. Its face which revealed itself to be dragon-like rose, its glass-red eyes shone in the night as the King was letting out mad, cackling laughter.

Zong smirked. "So he's finally pulled that card, heh."

The large metal beast roared as it was revealed to be in the shape of a standing metal dragon. Its roar was pushing back against everyone who hung in the sky. "A king's power is absolute!"

The Exceeds closest to the island could see the smoke rising from the metal beast.

"That form... that magic power..."

"Yes... there's no question about it..."

"T-this can't be..."

Queen Shaggott could only look down with fear. "Dorma Anim..."

Chun looked back at her. "Dorma-what?"

"Is that... a metal Dragon?" Zuko asked. 'It sure looks like nothing I've seen before.'

Mystogan eyed the beast. "Dorma Anim in our language means 'Dragon Knight'."

Above them, Natsu, Aang, and Happy could only look down, with expressions of shock. "A metal Dragon?" Aang questioned.

"I-It can't be..." Natsu commented.

"It does look like a dragon." Happy said.

Zong shrugged. "Yep, that's the king's secret weapon. Dorna Armor or whatever the hell these Edolans call it."

Below, Toph blinked several times. "You guys better not be messing with me! There's a giant dragon down there!?"

"I wish I could make this up," Hen added.

"Enhanced magic armor... what does that mean?" Wendy asked.

Coco looked down at it and began to explain. "It's ridable armor made from anti-magic 'Wizard Canceller' lacrima! It nullifies all external magic cast at it! The king is controlling the Dorma Anim from the inside!"

The head of the Dorma Anim looked skyward, opened its maw and a large magic cannon was inside. "Soldiers of mine! Seize the Exceeds!"

The soldiers with newfound Vigour after their king was fighting with them, responded in kind: "YES, YOUR MAJESTY!" they were all aiming their hand-held cannons at any Exceeds, they pushed forward on their Legion to lacrimize the flying felines.

"Oh no! Run!" Mystogan exclaimed in a panic. The Exceeds were flying away in fear.

"Don't let them escape!" Knightwalker exclaimed.

"Magicalize Cannon! Charged and ready!" one of the soldiers called as the two-handed cannon was being held, there was a metal pack on each of their backs. "Fire!" a sky blue beam was fired from one of the main legion, and this was followed by multiple streams of energy beams being shot into the sky. The beams were hitting some of the Exceeds and for everyone on of them that were hit, they were turning into cat-face-shaped Lacrima. One by one, many Exceed were being transformed into magical crystals, despite their best efforts to escape their fate.

"Everyone! Run!" Shaggott exclaimed as she could do nothing as her people were being crystallized

"My queen we should leave!" the elder Exceed said, though a beam was aimed at them, and both felines were too scared to move. The beam made contact but it wasn't with them. They were shocked to see Chun in front of them with an Exceed still holding her up. Queen Shaggott was stunned by her actions.

Chun angrily turned back. "Get out of here, NOW!"

Shaggott nodded. "Please, help my people."

"You can help them by surviving!" Chun exclaimed. "If you get caught then your people will have nothing left to live for. You may only have one wing, but your people still need you!"

"Are you...?" they saw Chun swipe a blue beam away from them.

She looked back at them. "I don't have that much magic in me, so their beams won't work on me! Now run!"

The old Exceed flew them away and Shaggott looked down at her. "Thank you..."

…

At the same time, the rest of Fairy Tail barring Chun had regrouped at Coco's Legion. "We need to protect the Exceeds from the Royal Army," Erza said. "I'll go after Knightwalker."

Azula let out a single chuckle. "As if I'm going to stay back and let you fight yourself. That fake Erza and I have a score to settle, you want to join Erza? Be my guest, but I will be the one to deal the final blow!"

"I feel like Azula's lost her mind," Lucy muttered within earshot of Zuko. "Gah, no offense."

Zuko shook his head. "None, taken. She is crazy. Maybe she took a few blows to the head while fighting Natsu." he joked.

"Hey! I'm standing right here, Zuzu!" Azula angrily bellowed.

"I know." he confidently closed his eyes in reply.

"Hate to interrupt the Azula bashing, but does anyone have a plan for the giant Dragon down there!?" Hen asked.

"They did mention it was immune to magic."

Hen excitedly punched his hands together. "I didn't hear immune to Bending, hey Toph, you twist it into tiny metal pieces and I'll roast him with a little volcanic activity."

"Haha, now someone's speaking my language!" Toph motioned to the Exceed holding her up. "Hey cat, take me down there, that king's going to take a dirt nap!"

"NO!" Mystogan protested.

"Sorry, whatcha say?" Toph asked leering at the Edolas prince.

"Attacking that monster will leave the Exceeds defenseless! We are their last line of defense! We must protect them, both from the King, and Zong!"

Hen, angrily had his arms folded. "So, we have to keep a bunch of flying cats safe from a murdering maniac, an army of large flying beasts with men firing instant lacrimizing beams, and, somehow. Keep a giant metal dragon from killing them all and us. Not to sound pessimistic, but I think we might be out-matched this time."

The king heard him and was laughing. "Outmatched you say? You didn't even stand a chance!" the dragon roared as its main cannon was charging up with bright energy. "I will obliterate you all right here!" the Dragon unleashed a powerful white roar towards Fairy Tail. They were shocked however when they saw Mystogan's legion fly in the path of the beam with the rider using all his magic to create a defensive seal that stopped the beam in its path.

"Mystogan!" Erza breathed.

"Mystogan?" Faust repeated. "Is that what they call you in Earth Land, Jellal?!" Mystogan glared slightly when he heard that particular name, especially given how the original bearer of that name hurt his friends so much.

"Erza! Go now, while you can!"

"But you..."

"Prince..." Coco muttered.

Mystogan was preparing to counter-attack as he swung his arms while chanting: "Three-Layer Magic Circle..." There were fire, water, and dark magic seals forming in front of him as the beam was blocked. He quickly continued his attack. "Mirror Water!" the blast was instantly redirected back at the Dorma Anim.

"He reflected it?" the King questioned as the blast engulfed him and his metal beast, leaving the pair engulfed in an explosion that sent shockwaves into the sky.

"Whoa!" Hen breathed. "That's awesome!"

"Wait, he got him!?" Toph questioned.

"So... this is Mystogan's power!?" Lucy gasped in astonishment.

As the black dust from the explosion began to clear. They could hear that smug laughter booming again as red eyes were glowing from within the dust cloud.

"Wait... why is he laughing?" Katara asked.

"Ha ha ha!" the king laughed as his Dorma Anim came out from the attack with minimal scratches to its armored plating. "Ouch, that smarts!"

"It's still standing!?" Hen gasped.

"Clearly!" Azula replied. "It barely left a dent!"

"But how!?" Lucy exclaimed with Coco beside her.

"Unless this thing is magic proof!" Sokka said.

"That's right!" Faust smugly replied as white energy smoke surrounded his metal beast. "This is the power of the Wizard Canceler! So, struggle all you want! The Dorma Anim is impervious to all manner of magic!" The dragon unleashed another roaring blast aimed at Mystogan as he wasn't prepared to counter the attack so soon after he attacked it first. The blast clashed into both him and his legion shooting him off the beast and sending him into freefall while screaming out in pain.

"MYSTOGAN!" Erza exclaimed.

The king laughed as he watched his kin fall. "Hahaha, the ground will suit you well! May you die like a dog on the surface!"

At the same time, Chun was trying to fight off some of the men on Legion who were turning Exceeds into Lacrima, but she couldn't do much on her own, she watched in horror as many of the flying cats around her were being crystallized. "This is all too much." she thought but right in her peripheral, she could see Knightwalker speeding right at her on her Legion. "Oh, Crap!"

"You're not the only one who can play with lightning! Ravelt Shocking Spear!" her javelin was surrounded by gold light and her spearhead changed shape to a large, dual-edged blade and it discharged a powerful shot of bright purple lightning that was streaking through the sky. Chun generated her lightning and shot hers with enough accuracy to cancel out Knightwalker's but when the bolts clashed, their explosive burst blinded Chun while bombarding her ears with high-pitched squealing.

This left her vulnerable as Knightwalker was closer with the familiar purple electricity surrounding her spear-tip. "Goodbye!" Chun gasped to herself as she didn't have time to dodge but she found herself being turned around suddenly.

"GAAAAHHHHHHH!" Chun suddenly found herself in freefall as the Exceed who was flying with her had sacrificed himself to take the bolt for her. As she fell, she looked skyward to see the Exceed fading into blue sparkles and she could see his lips moving as he spoke his final words. "Thank you... for protecting us..." his form faded into the dark, Chun instinctively held out her arm in a futile attempt to try and save him, but it was in vain and all that she could hear was the raging wind around her and the Exceed's last words.

She was prevented from falling to her demise when Coco's legion caught her, as it was speeding through the sky to catch her. She didn't even register when Hen caught her, and he was shaking her over and over while she looked like she was in pure shock. All she could hear were the echoes of his yelling.

…

The Dragon on the ground meanwhile was turning Exceed into Lacrima with the blast from its main cannon. "Beautiful! I'll turn every last Exceed into a beautiful lacrima!"

On the same Lacrima island, a few of the Exceeds were hiding from the chaos, and Queen Shaggott was with them. "Lousy humans!" one of the orange, furred Exceeds exclaimed. "They just have to keep crazy monsters as pets!" he exclaimed in an annoyed tone as they were watching their kind getting turned into crystal.

"The one who dyes the heavens black and brings with it destruction." they heard their Queen say in a somber tone.

The elders started to speak in turn. "It is known as the Dragon Knight... Dorma Anim."

"Long ago, it nearly destroyed not only Extalia but all of Edolas as well."

"And due to its extreme danger, humans banned its use and sealed it away of their own accord."

The orange cat looked at them while his leery face his fearful emotion. "W-what do you mean 'nearly destroyed'?"

"We don't know the details..." Shaggott replied. "But the old stories say that when the Dorma Anim dyed the sky black, most of this world's magic was lost..."

…

In the black skies above them, Zong and Natsu with Happy avoided a blasting beam from the Dorma Anim. "Ha, where'd your little Avatar friend go?" Zong asked as it was just him and Natsu fighting. Zong was decked in the faceless than a second later.

"I can beat your ass by myself, you faker!"

Zong's eye twitched while his forks continued glowing. "Heh, I don't know how you think this is gonna go, but that metal dragon down there. It's going to turn all those felines into crystal, that Dragon is invincible to magic." he pointed down to see Coco's legion barely dodging a blast from the Dragon's main cannon. "And your friends are powerless to stop it, plus... c'mon! I'm ME! You think I'd let myself get beaten by you, huh!?" he asked as his pupils shrunk while a twisted smile decorated his face.

"Keep smilin'..." Natsu sped to him. "I'll rip that smile right off your face, you bastard!" Zong suddenly disappeared from him. "Huh?"

"Down here~" Zong sang as a blast of wind sent both Natsu and Happy soaring into the sky. A few seconds later their upward momentum was instantly stopped by a rocky elbow crashing itself into the back of Natsu's neck, sending a sudden, and excruciating jolt of pain through his entire body. Then Zong grabbed his scarf, holding both himself and Happy in the air. "What was that about 'wiping the smile from my face'!" he asked with his insane smile showing itself again. He kicked the pair of them to a floating island where they hit hard, making a dust cloud surround them.

After the impact, Happy rolled off Natsu and was concerned when he saw him rubbing the back of his neck which was glowing red. "OW, he hits hard!" there was a hard crash not too far from them. Zong landed on his feet, electricity was surrounding his arms as he had rocks hovering beside him.

"Natsu..."

"Don't worry Happy, I've got him right where I want 'im!" Natsu's arms were engulfed in flames, and he shot forward right at Zong. "Fire Dragon's Iron-!" Zong saw the punch coming and prepared to block it, but Natsu turned around at the last second and spun his whole body using his heel, launching him and rotating his body to where his left leg was raised and it suddenly caught fire. "Talons!" The energy from the kick sent Zong flying back where he crashed through a boulder. "Ha, gotcha!" there was a burst of wind that was aimed right at Natsu and he blocked it with his arm as the burst was Zong himself, who closed in at sonic speeds. As soon as the two made contact, the sonic boom separated the two of them.

"You know, you're starting to tick me off!" Zong stomped one foot, swung his right arm, instantly there was a loud snap, the island itself was split in two, and Natsu's side was crumbling.

"GAH! Happy!"

"Aye!" Happy's wings returned.

"Oh no, you don't!" Zong bellowed in his Vaatu voice as Happy was motionless in the air as he watched Natsu fall. He saw Happy moving toward Zong as he manipulated the Exceed's blood.

"Huh, you cats aren't just made of pure magic, you actually have anatomy. Who knew!"

Natsu became filled with rage as his entire body exploded out in flames. A dragon's roar could be heard as he was shooting through the dark skies with flame boosters below his feet. "Give him back!" he engulfed himself in fire and headbutted Zong in the chest, forcing him to relinquish his hold on Happy and send him shooting into the sky.

"Huh!" Zong laughed as he extended his hands while hovering in the sky. He took the rocky remains of Natsu's half of the floating island and he shot them towards the dragon slayer, they came at him from different directions, and with Happy's assistance he was able to dodge a few and punch other rocks into dust, but the numbers grew to overwhelm them both as Natsu was pelted by wave after wave of rock that came in seemingly endless numbers. Soon the clumps of rocks were sticking to him after they hit, with more and more grit adding themselves onto the pile.

Each rock that connected was dealing damage to Natsu and Happy, soon the rocks were forming what looked to be a large rocky sphere that was floating in the air. Natsu was trapped inside of it. Zong smirked as he licked his finger, swung his right hand, and balled it into a fist. The rocks surrounding Natsu were compressing, being crushed under the force of Zong's manipulation. But the rocks were threatening to crush Natsu to pieces as his screaming could be heard from inside the clumpy sphere.

"Yes! Scream for me Natsu! Keep screaming until you breathe your last breath!" Natsu's screaming grew, even more, louder and more intense, but his screaming eventually lowered into what sounded like a roar and Zong immediately knew what that meant as there were orange cracks in the rock. "Oh come o-"

*BOOOOM*

Right after the explosion, Natsu and Happy flew to Zong at max speed with Natsu throwing a fiery elbow that sent the Dark Avatar down hard on his side of the island. "Drop me, Happy!"

"Aye!" Happy let go and Natsu was sent falling to Zong while he angrily growled.

"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!"His entire body was covered in raging fire as Zong was just recovering from his last hit and he could see a comet in the form of Natsu Dragneel speeding right at him.

"Wait, that's... OH SH-"

*BOOOOOOOOM*

The force of Natsu crashing into Zong created an eruption that was pushing the pair of them down through the rock itself. Natsu was screaming his lungs out while pushing Zong through the floating terra. After agonizing seconds where Zong was being thrown through the earth, he felt two feet pushing down onto his chest, shooting him further down.

Natsu was caught by Happy, Natsu was looking down and was waiting for retaliation from Zong. He saw the Dark Avatar's descent suddenly stop. He quickly flew back up and he was facing Natsu while hovering several feet from him. "Heh, I'll admit this is fun, but I'm not a fan of being thrown through stuff." He tilted his head back and forth before cracking his knuckles. "But I'll finish you eventually."

"You think you've won already?"

Zong's sinister smile returned. "Really Natsu? Even after I told you everything about who I am, you don't think I can stand up against all of you. I can crush all of Edolas under my foot if I wanted to and I probably will later on. But for now... I'm gonna Slay a Dragon Slayer!"

…

Meanwhile, Coco's Legion continued to dodge attacks from the Dorma Anim. "Crap!" Gray exclaimed. "We can't keep dodging those attacks forever."

"Well, any ideas?" Zuko asked.

Azula smirked. "We could always throw Lucy at it, make her act as bait."

"How dare you!" Lucy comically seethed.

"What, you'd make a good distraction."

"You monster!"

Azula winked back at her. "Heh, you don't think I know that!?"

The next moment there was a large pillar of iron that struck the chest of the Dorma Anim. The metal beast looked affected as its body jerked backward. "W-what!?" the King exclaimed. As the dragon stepped back a small figure in the sky was high above it.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" A tremendous blast of air struck the dragon from behind, making it stagger forward while sliding on its feet.

"Who!? Who's behind these attacks!?" the King cried. "The Dorma Anim should be immune to all magic!"

Once its sliding came to a stop, the ground beneath it shook violently, and there was a hard, fiery punch to the back of the beast's neck that forced it down to its knees. Th figure flipped in front of it, revealing it to be Aang who had fire engulfing his right arm which was covered in rock, his arrows were encased in a bright glow. Behind him were Wendy and Gajeel, as they steeled themselves for battle.

"You!"

"Not bad, Baldy," Gajeel commented. "You and I should roughhouse one of these days."

"How about, no. Plus we really should focus on what's in front of us." Aang replied.

"Right." Wendy agreed with a firm nod.

Meanwhile, in the skies, Zong and Natsu watched the King getting attacked. The dragon slayer glanced at Happy who was still holding him up. He nodded and Happy released him, and he was falling, right into the path of the metal dragon below. Both his arms were covered in raging flames, and after punching them together, he raised a tremendous ball of fire above him.

The king had to cover his eyes as the flames seemed as bright as the sun itself. "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Blaze!" The flames engulfed the beast, covering it in a tremendous firestorm which saw the King scream out as his beast continued to take damage.

Natsu's scarf briefly blew in the wind as he stood with his three allies.

The King's Dragon took a step back briefly. "It's you lot!" he angrily exclaimed.

Happy re-joined the others on the Legion. "Guys! Natsu told us to save the Exceeds! They will stop the King's Dragon."

"W-what?!" Carla exclaimed. "B-but, Wendy is down there!"

"Those four alone can't defeat that thing, could they?" Azula questioned.

"Yes... they can." they heard Lisanna say. "They can do this. Natsu, all the others, I know they have the power to stop this. The King may have his dragon, but that will prove to be his biggest mistake." everyone else curiously eyed her. "The only way to fight a dragon is with those who have been trained for it. The Dragon Slayers!"

Sokka folded his arms, proudly. "Couldn't have said it better myself."

Erza meanwhile stood near the front of the Legion. "Fine, Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Aang... I leave this in your hands."

As the four, faced the Dorma Anim, there was a figure that landed beside it. Zong's expression was hidden. "So, I heard there was a party going on down here." he looked up at them. His irises shrunken, his smile, as wide as they have seen it. "And you didn't invite me!?" The five combatants stood, facing down each other taking in the brief silence around them before they could commence their decisive battle.

Elsewhere Panther Lily was lying on the ground, the hole that Zong's lightning pierced through was prevalent and it left an awful scar. He looked to be sitting up, clutching his stomach, and to his side, there was the same female Exceed who was also struck by Zong, and she had a few bandages on her, she was at his side watching the horrors unfold.

They both watched as sparkling crystals of what used to be Exceeds were falling above the Edolas kingdom.

"A-are those… Lacrima?!" she asked.

Pantherlily answered sombrely while shaking from his wounds. "Yes, this kingdom has lost a decade's worth of magic power. Not even magicalizing all of the Exceeds will change that. "They've even resorted to the Dorma Anim… and with Zong fighting as well… who knows what will happen now." he shifted his weight as he sat which force a jolt of pain to shoot through his abdomen. "Guh!"

"You need to stay still!"

"Even if the King succeeds… He'll never beat Zong, no. No one can, he is someone who thrives in pure chaos. He enjoys slaying his enemies, he has no goals or motivations. He just kills because it's fun to him. How can anyone stop that?"

There were slow footsteps behind him and when he turned, he could see his old companion. "Prince?"

The six fighters were still silently staring down the each other, as this went on. The other group of hidden Exceeds along with their Queen were watching the fight. "No, no, that's impossible. Four of those humans are going to take on that thing, and Zong!?"

"That's crazy!"

"But also kinda cool!"

The elders meanwhile continued to watch over their Queen. "Come, Shaggott."

"You need to flee to a safe distance!"

"You'll get caught up in the battle if you stay here!"

"And if Zong sees you. He won't hesitate to kill you in a second… as he did to some of our people…"

She looked concerned as she eyed the fighters in front of her.

Zong was grinning ear to ear and he was pointing at his foes… "So I get to fight a fellow Avatar, Two Dragon Slayers, and a Tiny Dragon slayer I can literally crush with but a single thought. Well, it must be my birthday!"

"You talk too much!" Natsu said.

"Would you prefer the silent killer type, cause I can do that… but… Kicking people when they are down is so much more fun!"

"Tch!" Gajeel clicked. "You little piece of crap! I'm gonna make you pay for hurting my cat!"

"Why do you guys care about cats so much? They are awful house pets, they meow all the time when you don't feed them, they shed, leaving fur all over the place. You should meet the pet I have back home. Loyal, non-questioning, and he can kill on command! Unfortunately, he didn't get taken with me - pity."

"You shut up, brat!" the king said to Zong.

"Um… you shouldn't take that tone with the guy helping you I can crush you from inside that thing. And I probably will after I wipe the floor with those four." Zong looked forward. "Well ready or not!" Zong shot off like a bullet towards the four as he boosted himself forward with an explosion of fire and wind trailing him. He soared past Natsu, but Gajeel headbutted him, completely stopping his momentum. Zong's eyes grew as he leaped back. "Jeez, I swear that felt like I collided with metal."

Aang gave Wendy a side glance, and when she nodded, she began her spell, making winds surge around her and Aang. "Swift winds that speed through the heavens!" a sky blue seal appeared at Aang's feet and he could suddenly feel himself becoming much, much lighter.

"Whoa… I feel like I could fly with how light I am!" a blue orb, the same color as his tattoos circled him as he hovered above the ground. Wendy was also seen performing the same for herself as she engulfed herself in a green orb.

"Vernier!" Once they were both floating above the ground, they shot forwards at breakneck speeds, throwing themselves past Zong who put his arms up to guard, but realized he wasn't the target.

The king saw the two coming right at him, so he fired the Dorma Anim's main cannon. The white burst of energy completely missed as it looked like they disappeared from view. "They evaded it!?" he exclaimed.

"This would be a lot more fun if we weren't in a fight right now!" Aang exclaimed as he saw Wendy flying beside him. "He can't move fast enough to hit us, so let's bring it down piece by piece!"

"Right!" Both Aang and Wendy were moving around the metal dragon so fast that its optics were struggling to find a lock on them.

"I can't target them!" as he was looking around, Aang magnetized bits of rock to both his arms and legs. He was aiming specifically for the upper joints on the arms. He was delivering hard punches that left minor dents in the metal, Wendy herself flying higher, closer to its face to make sure Faust couldn't target Aang who was inflicting most of the damage, as minor as it was.

At the same time, Zong had avoided a speeding iron pillar that nearly made contact with his face. After his evasion, he saw Natsu coming down at him from above. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Zong slid himself back, making Natsu punch the ground. The Dragon slayer saw Zong retaliating with his attack as the ground beneath him was shaking. There were sharp jagged pillars that were shooting right out from the ground. So he slid and was backing away as best as he could in short leaps. "Running away, Salamander?" he saw Gajeel charging right at Zong with his right arm transformed into a sword. He was slicing through all the jagged pillars that Zong put in his way.

As he closed the gap Zong growled to himself and he made a spout of air below him, shooting himself up into the sky. He snapped his fingers, swung both his arms, which were dancing with electricity. He saw Natsu leap into the sky to meet him. "Fire Dragon's Crushing Fang!" Natsu's fingertips were leaking with intense fire as he swung his right arm forward.

Zong smirked. "You just gave me a bright idea! I'll do the same!" he moved his electrified arm in the same way that Natsu moved his and their clawed strikes met in the air. Constant barrages of electricity and fire danced in the sky. Gajeel on the ground aimed his right arm at Zong.

"Keep 'im still!" His arm turned into a large spearhead after appearing from a pale green magic seal. "Iron Dragon's Lance: Demon Logs!" He fired from the spearhead, rapid bolts of iron spears into the sky that were targeted right at the Dark Avatar.

Zong was too distracted by Natsu to see the attack coming and he was bombarded by the spears that crashed into his body, sending him further into the sky. The iron dust covered his body temporarily. But it quickly cleared as Zong angrily roared, an explosive sphere of air ejected from him. The force sent Natsu back to the ground, on his feet, not too far from Gajeel. They could see Zong's bare chest as his outfit was ripped apart by the iron spears. After taking a deep breath, his air sphere had bolts of lightning dance around it. "I really should stop taking it easy on you people…"His forks were glowing, and he shot down to the ground right in front of Natsu and Gajeel, making clouds of dust speed past them.

Once the dust cleared, Zong was right in front of them, he leaped off his feet with electric plasma in the shape of a claw covering his right hand. He slashed right through Natsu and while he was sent back flying, he bent under a speeding pillar. His left palm slammed into the ground, shaking the terra beneath Gajeel, putting him off balance. After stepping back, the Iron Dragon Slayer could see a jagged rocky fist hitting his stomach, making a hole in his outfit as he let out a cough.

"RAAAGH!" Zong made a tremendous tornado, engulf Gajeel, and lift him off his feet. As he was taken into the sky by the tornado. Zong launched himself up into the sky and he manipulated the tornado to throw Gajeel in his direction. He looked to kick himself off the air itself and shot right at Gajeel, his arm covered in earth with shards of ice on the jagged edges of his gauntlet. Both combatants sped right at each other and Zong threw a hard elbow into Gajeel's stomach, making him cough out blood as the impact was so hard, it instantly churned his stomach. "Now stay down!" He made an all-engulfing burst of fire send Gajeel back down and he hit the ground like a meteor, shaking the entire field.

When Zong gently landed back on the ground. He saw Natsu speeding to him with raging flames cloaking his body. The orange around that made his forks shine slightly brighter, and using the water in the air, he made hot steam that blanketed the area he and Natsu stood in. Natsu ran right through a rock which was where Zong stood. He slid to a stop and he suddenly had a palm covering his face.

"Too bad you can't eat lightning… otherwise this probably wouldn't hurt as bad!" Zong's right arm raged with electricity and a blast of lightning flashed right into Natsu's face. The mist around them intensified the lightning, sending him flying back as he rolled violently on the ground and found himself next to Gajeel. "Now you two stay down… while I pluck the wings from the Avatar and the little girl."

Natsu growled and his fist clenched and he picked up dirt. Gajeel meanwhile was breathing deeply as his legs were shakily getting him up to his feet. Zong saw the two getting up. "You two really want to keep going, don't you?" Natsu's expression was hidden while Gajeel leered daggers at the Dark Avatar.

"This kid is getting on my nerves…" Gajeel said. "Let's work together, properly this time, Salamander."

Natsu's fist had flames raging around it, while Gajeel had iron scales surrounding his body. Natsu's only response was a firm nod. With that, both he and Gajeel charged forward at the Dark Avatar, continuing their bout.

At the same time, Aang narrowly leaped over the dragon's swinging arm while Wendy slid to a stop on the ground behind it. While in the sky, Aang made a sharp whip of fire and flung it down with a flexing blade of air swirling with it. They couldn't even form a dent on the Dorma Anim. "We've been hitting this thing and it barely has a scratch on it!"

Wendy rose her hand. "In that case… The stalwart might to cleave the heavens!" her magic seal appeared above her, and they could both feel a sense of additional strength within their arms as they became lighter, but felt their density increase. "Arms!" Aang saw that sky blue energy was welling up on both his arms.

He landed in front of Wendy. "So does this do what I think it does?" Wendy's seal faded from view as the same airy energy around Aang's arms was around hers.

"Yes! It's an attack enhancement spell."

Faust inside his cockpit leered at his opponents. "What?! Their magic power is increasing?"

Aang shot up into the sky and once he was high enough, he shot a powerful burst of fire which exploded outward from his fist as if the flames themselves were being powered by Sozin's Comet itself. The flames covered the dragon which let out a hurt roar.

Wendy who was still on the ground looked to be suctioning the air around her. There was an updraft that was below her as she prepared herself. "I can't run away! This time I have to fight! I'm a Dragon Slayer…" she thought back to her first clumsy meeting with Aang, and when he reintroduced himself to her, and how the rest of Fairy Tail welcomed her back with open arms. "And with Aang fighting with me, I won't lose!" once the flames cleared the dragon had visible soot marks all over its body.

"Huh?" he could see Wendy standing further away as she looked like she charged her magical energy. She focused herself and leaped up crossed her wrists above her head, her arms were generating large whirlwinds and with her strength being enhanced, the winds being generated were enough to raise light rocks into the air.

She uncrossed them, and the whirlwinds grew to cover her arms, and the intense winds twisted and rotated around her arms as she was falling to the Dorma Anim, her twin pigtails being whipped in every direction. "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" the whirlwinds grew tremendously and Wendy manipulated all the air to engulf the entire Dorma Anim, engulfing it in powerful winds that moved in different directions, threatening to rip its entire body apart.

While the winds covered the dragon, Aang let himself fall to the ground, and his feet lightly hit the ground, but his arms violently crashed into the ground, making an earth wave the size of the dragon itself, surge towards it. This combined with Wendy's previous attack was enough to bring the Dorma Anim off its feet and make it fall to the ground.

"WHAT!?" the King yelled as his beast was knocked off its feet.

As the King was contemplating what just happened, Aang and Wendy stood side by side. "I think you got him!" Wendy happily exclaimed.

"It was a team effort. By the way. That last spell you did, how did you…?"

Wendy looked away bashfully. "I learned it from watching you and Natsu, actually."

Aang chuckled. "Glad I could be part of your inspiration."

However, they saw the ground shake as the dragon got back up to its feet. "I've had enough of you two!" Faust exclaimed. He fired a weapon, and instead of the cannon, there was another opening that revealed portholes. "Tracking Missiles! Fire!" a barrage of orange energy bolts was firing right at the two of them.

"Split up!" Aang exclaimed, Wendy nodded and they both flew in different directions, however, the energy bolts were only tracking one of them, and it was Wendy.

Still powered by her Vernier, she was trying her best to out-speed the rockets as they got close to her. However in a twist of cruel fate - or bad luck… Wendy tripped over loose rock, similarly to how she tripped on the tiled floor when meeting up with the allied forces for the first time. She fell flat on her face, with her arms following afterward. "Ow…" she painfully looked up and her pupils reflected the orange energy bolts heading straight for her.

"WENDY!" Aang did the first thing he could and he manipulated all the earth he could to enclose Wendy in an earth sphere with layers upon layers of rock protecting her. The energy bolts exploded around it, creating a tremendous cloud of dust. Before the dust could clear, Aang was seen shooting through the dust and he landed a powerful blow to the side of the dragon's face with a flaming fist covering his arm that was covered by iron scales, making it slide back again.

As soon as Aang landed on the ground he ran over to the earth sphere to check on Wendy, he loosened the rocks and allowed Wendy to climb out of the sphere. "Aang?"

"Are you ok?"

"I'm-"

"ANNOYING LITTLE TWERPS!" they could see Faust firing another two energy missiles at them. As they veered closer, their boosters cut out and ignited right in front of them, engulfing the two in an all-consuming fire as the force of the explosion shot them back. Faust was laughing as he could only see flames in front of him. "You fools! You lowly wizards don't know your place! You honestly call yourselves, slayers of Dragons? Saviors of worlds? Don't make me laugh!" Though, he could see that the flames were quickly blown away as a tremendous hemisphere of air shielded Wendy and Aang from any harm.

"You sure like hearing your voice, don't you?" Aang quipped as he expanded the radius of his air hemisphere, but right as he did, he could see Wendy sucking the air into her mouth.

"What… is she… sucking the air!?" Faust questioned.

Once Wendy was finished 'eating' the air she let out a sigh. "So this is what Aang's air tastes like?"

Aang's arrows started to shine brightly. "I have an idea!" he threw his hands up as a platform raised him high into the air, with large clumps of rock following him. He was magnetizing large chunks of the area, the broken-down buildings, compressing them, molding them around him into a large mass that was made from clumps of magnetized rock. What emerged was a large, rocky, humanoid figure that stood at the same height as the dragon. Aang stood where its head would be with an air sphere covering his body along with rings of water and fire.

As Zong was fighting off Natsu and Gajeel in a rapid fistfight, he saw the towering figure. "I wonder if I can do that?"

He ducked under an iron pillar mid-air and he landed on the ground, he clenched his fists and made whips of lava snake around him as they shot out from the ground. He threw his lava tendrils forward, Both Dragon Slayers charged forward at Zong and they were narrowly dodging his lava whips.

Above them, the Dragon had caught the rocky fist that Aang threw at it with his colossal stone golem. "This is impossible!" Faust exclaimed in disbelief. Ports opened up and he fired his magic missiles at Aang's golem. In response he shot off his rocks that countered the rockets, making a huge explosion right in the middle. The dust quickly cleared as Wendy, still powered by her Vernier was standing on the shoulder of the golem.

The insides of Faust's cockpit were slightly crackling with electricity after the impact. "That's it!" he exclaimed. His dragon's maw opened and it was charging its main cannon as white energy was building up. "I'm going to rip you to pieces!" he fired the blast at the two. Aang threw his hands forward, making a tremendous blast of fire that nearly matched the size of the blast Faust threw at them.

After he fired, he noticed Wendy puffing her cheeks. "Sky Dragon's Roar!" The powerful gust of wind combined with Aang's flames, to make a horizontal flaming vortex that let off whips of embers as it clashed with Faust's blast, shaking the entire area.

The Exceeds watching from a distance could only watch in awe at the battle taking place in front of them.

After the tremendous clash, both of the large masses stepped back. On the ground below them Zong with electrified limbs was in a fistfight with Gajeel who's arms were replaced with iron pillars, and Natsu's hands were engulfed in fire. Their combined efforts were forcing Zong into slow retreat as he was being forced to backtrack.

Natsu and Gajeel each threw punches that made their mark, making Zong stagger back. The Dark Avatar was breathing deeply to himself. "Ok… now you're both pissing me off!" he forks shone orange with the glow covering his eyes. "You don't know any Lava Dragon Slayers do you!?" his deep voice asked as he rose his arms. Pillars of lava shot out of the ground, spraying molten rock all over the field. The lava columns shot upward, the ground beneath them was cracking below them making the surface they stood on hotter before it either became engulfed in lava or melted into lava.

"He's trying to drown us in lava!?" Gajeel exclaimed.

Aang's golem was starting to melt as his rocks were sinking into the molten terra. The Dorma Anim wasn't too affected by the lava as the metal armor could take the heat. The king saw his advantage. "NOW DIE!" he fired his main cannon while also shooting his missiles. Aang and Wendy saw the attacks coming and Aang leaped out of his elemental sphere, grabbed Wendy's hand, and covered the both of them in an air sphere while the attacks completely destroyed Aang's large golem.

They both hovered up to see the entire ground covered in lava with Natsu and Gajeel standing on sinking runes. Zong had a column of air and fire keeping him above the ground.

"Wooo! Now ain't that spicy!?"

The Dorma Anim which was knee-deep in lava had its red eyes glow as Faust was breathing inside his armored beast. "No matter who gets in my way! I will have these Dragon Slayers!" the metal dragon had surges of dark energy surrounding it as streams of magic looked like they were being gathered towards it.

"It's gathering magic from the air…" Wendy noted.

"And that thing is absorbing it?" Aang questioned.

The beast started to step back, despite the lava covering parts of its lower half. "If I capture them, I can restart my Anima plan!" The dark energy covered the dragon, so much so that the others were unable to even see it. All they could see was the glow of its eyes.

"Now what's that foolish king doing?!" Zong questioned as sounds were coming from the machine.

It started to step forward, splashing gallons of lava in the process. "I will take these Dragon Slayers For everlasting magic power… No! They are better as weapons, so I must appropriate them for myself! If some parts are damaged in doing so, then so be it." The beast looked to have grown even more in size and took on a more bulky humanoid shape as the king started to speak. "I will take the fight out of you all! Using the power of Dorma Anim: Black Heaven!"

The dragon moved its arms to the side, putting off a shockwave of magical energy that made the lava around its feet rage. Natsu and Gajeel could barely hold onto their platforms while Aang and Wendy were nearly thrown out of the sky. Zong only watched and all that was present was a serious scowl

The Dorma Anim: Black Heaven was much taller in appearance, its tail stretched down from the back of its neck, the armor around its torso, and knees were black and it appeared to have a metal shield and a sword that was attached to the wrist. The dragon took a straight stance and pointed his wrist sword upward. "PREPARE YOURSELF!"

He threw his sword down, making both Natsu and Gajeel fly into the broken-down walls of the coliseum. The red eyes of the dragon leered at Zong who only stared back, his expression looking serious. "You! Once I have the Dragon Slayer magic for myself, I will have no more use for you! So your services ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED!"

Zong's forks continued to glow as his gray eyes glared at Faust's dragon. "Is that a challenge?" his sinister smile returned as his pupils shrank. "YOU WANT TO KILL A GOD!?" he made lava cyclones that raged at his sides.

"Fool!" the king exclaimed. "Can't you feel it? This absolute magic power! It's spectacular!" his sword was starting to gather dark purple energy as he glared down at Zong. "Don't fall to your knees! Don't beg for your lives! Stand right there and quiver! KNOW FEAR AND KNOW YOUR PLACE!" he threw his sword down hard on the ground, making a tremendous explosion of magic with blanketed the entire coliseum in blinding white light. The blast engulfed Natsu and Gajeel and they flew back. Aang's air sphere was blown apart as he and Wendy were sent flying. Zong was screaming as he was thrown back by the massive explosion of magical energy.

Mystogan watched from a distance, as the King's magical energy was heavily pulsing throughout Edolas. "Fairy Tail… I'm sorry."

Pantherlily who was still suffering from his injuries had his wound bandaged, he stood behind Mystogan, still struggling to move because of the damage Zong's lightning bolt did. "Prince…" The Exceed who tended to his wounds was hanging from his shoulder. "I saw what happened. You let yourself get hit on purpose!" when he saw Mystogan turn to him with a knowing smirk, Pantherlily put the pieces together… "All to save me…"

"Are you alright?"

"This wound is nothing!" he said while shaking in pain.

"Don't move too much." the female Exceed said. "You need to wait till your wound heals."

Mystogan looked to the huge mass of magic from the coliseum. "We are left with one option. We need to leave Zong and the prince to Aang and the others. We have something of our own we need to do."

"We do?" Pantherlily questioned.

"One final task. And I'll need your help to do it." He grunted as he couldn't figure out what Pantherlily was planning.

Elsewhere in the skies of Edolas, Exceeds were still being shot down from the sky by the Royal Army. Many Exceeds were powerless to prevent themselves from being turned into magical crystals.

Watching this unfold on Coco's Legion was the rest of Fairy Tail and Lisanna. They had to retreat and from the distance, they could see the sparkling of the Exceed lacrima. "This… this is bad…" Coco cried.

"You're telling me, I can hear their screams all the way from here," Gray added.

"We've got to catch up to the Royal Army!" Erza declared.

Sokka was unsure of Erza's plan. "There are so many of them and only one of us."

"Sounds like someone's chickening out," Azula said.

Sokka chuckled. "Says the girl who brought an army with her and still lost!" a rage tick appeared on Azula's forehead.

"I can throw you off this thing!" she said with a seething tone while folding her arms.

"Both of you cut it out!" Lucy intervened. She eyed Erza. "What now?!"

"We have no choice but to fight! If we don't defeat them, they'll wipe out the Exceeds!" Erza stated.

"Sounds to me like it's a 'them' problem," Azula stated this garnered glared from most of the group, namely from Happy and Carla. "What…? Do you really expect me to care about the plight of cats?"

Chun was still in the process of recovering from her shock, slowly stood up. "As much as it is their fault for us being here… we can't just let the royal army capture them just to use as a magic power source. Besides… without their help, I'm pretty sure that dragon chain cannon would have crushed us."

"I'll fight too!" Happy exclaimed.

"Yes, I'll fight to protect my homeland," Carla added.

Azula rolled her eyes and shrugged. "Sheesh, if we do this, those cats better thank us for saving their race from extinction."

The atmosphere around them changed as they could see a figure standing on a Legion not too far from them, the mirror image of Erza herself. "I've been waiting for you, Scarlet!" Knightwalker said as she held her bladed spear.

"You have?" as Knightwalker spoke an army of soldiers on legion appeared behind her.

"An ambush!?" Gray exclaimed.

"Crap!" Hen exclaimed, "They were waiting for us to retreat!"

Coco keeled on the head of her legion. "Run for it, Leggie!" her beast roared and flew off while orange energy blasts were being fired at it, no doubt from magic rifles that the soldiers were equipped with.

Despite their best efforts, their Legion was hit, and each of them fell to the far ground below. "LEGGIE!" Coco exclaimed, extending an arm to her companion as they all began to fall.

Happy and Carla's aera wings appeared and she shot down to attempt to rescue the others. "Happy!" Carla exclaimed, and Happy already knew what she was going to say.

"Aye, sir!"

Knightwalker stood on her beast. "Those who point their blades at the king cannot be allowed to live! Finish them off, as all costs!"

"YES MA'AM!" a couple of the army's legion took off to give chase to the falling group.

As the others were falling. Carla was struggling to hold up Gray, Lisanna, and Coco.

"S-sorry, I can't carry this much…!" Carla said.

While Happy was trying to hold up Lucy by her belt. "S-so heavy!"

"I'M ONLY ONE PERSON!" Lucy hotly exclaimed.

Katara came up with an idea as they were all falling. "Gray… I need ice below us… lots of it!"

"I can try!" He struggled free from Carla's grip and he placed his hand to his other palm. On the ground below them. A colossal white-blue seal appeared below them, emerging from the seal were a multitude of tall ice towers that stretched high into the sky.

When Katara saw them, she cleared her mind, concentrated, and was phase-shifting all the ice into water, she made the large amounts of liquid come together in a thick hemisphere of water. A water whip latched onto her and dragged her inside with a splash.

After re-surfacing, she made water whips that were catching each of the others slowing their fall so the surface tension of the water wouldn't hurt them. It wasn't long before the whole group was treading in the water. Zuko made sure he held onto Toph so she wouldn't drown.

"Is that everyone?" Sokka asked.

"What about Leggie!?" Coco cried.

"Leggie?" Katara saw that Coco's legion was still falling towards them. "That's way too big to catch…" She turned to everyone before yelling: "DIVE!" they all held their breath and swum underwater, and the legion eventually landed on the large water mass, making a tremendous splash, throwing the group all across the ground.

Knightwalker looked down at the ground, but above her, she heard the dangling of chains and a soldier falling off his beast. Holding right onto the chain glaring at her was her red-haired counterpart. She had to quickly get over her initial shock as Erza fell to her, sword in hand. Knightwalker held her spear up, horizontally to block the hard strike, the impact sending sparks flying in the skies. They were in a short battle with Scarlet swinging and Knightwalker blocking.

"Scarlet!"

"Let's finish this once and for all, Knightwalker!"

However, Knightwalker was shot in the back by a jet of blue fire, sending her off her legion and down to the surface. Erza looked to see Azula with smoke rising from her two pointed fingers. "Don't even say it, Erza! I have my own score to settle with that coward Knightwalker. Plus… if she is strong as you, then it will be a stalemate ultimately, so why not have an extra hand to tip the scales in your favor?"

To her surprise, Erza smiled at Azula. "Thank you, Azula." the fire lord blushed out of embarrassment and quickly turned away with her arms folded.

"D-don't read into it!" they saw she landed on one of the Exceed's older cities on one of the larger floating islands. "They both leaped off and landed on one of the many stone ceilings of the city where knightwalker was waiting for them.

"One of the wretched cats' older cities, the perfect place to lay your graves," Knightwalker said.

"That's my line," Azula said as she pointed at Knightwalker. "As far as I'm concerned, we have a score to settle. There can only be one Erza, and unfortunately for you. I like this one." she said motioning to Erza Scarlet.

"So that's your plan, hide behind your Erza and you can get potshots at me… and you call me a coward."

Azula clenched her fists before turning to Erza. "On second thought, let me take her on alone! I'm going to make sure I finish her off."

"No…"

A gold light was surrounding Erza as her long hair was being blown upward. "She may call herself Erza, but she has harmed, you, Fairy Tail too much." She began to transform as she continued. "And Erza as she may be, she bared her fangs at my friends." as this happened Knightwalker's staff was surrounded in gold light. "It's like Azula said, there's no need for two Erzas!" she transformed into her Heaven's Wheel armor. Knightwalker spear-tip transformed into a heavy, short blade that looked like it was made from black steel.

Azula has electricity dancing around her fingertips. "Finally, we can rid ourselves of this coward, lets get this over with so we can slay that king and false god of yours!" The three shot right at each other, allowing their battle to finally commence.
