A/N: Finally wrote this! I apologize for long delays, but I decided to start other stories...whoops. I hope you like this:) I don't think it's necessary to change the rating because everything they do is legal in Colorado, so yeah. The song mentioned is "Electric" by Alina Baraz and basically every song by her is amazing so check that out. (All characters mentioned are NBC's not mine)

"Hey, guys! You made it just in time!" Britta yells from the couch.

"Oh, yay," Annie says unenthusiastically.

Jeff nudges her, "Carpe diem, remember?"

Annie laughs and nods. "As long as I don't end up falling off a chair this time."

"I can't make any promises."

Britta jumps up excitedly. "Okay, we did the time consuming part, so let's have some fun now!"

"Hello, Annie. Jeff," Duncan greets from the blue rocking chair as Jeff and Annie sit on the couch.

"It's great to see you again, Ian!" Annie chirps.

Britta plops into the orange chair next to Duncan. "Okay, let's get started." She holds up a glass bowl. "Today, we will begin with something simple for the first-timer." Britta brings it up to her lips and lights the weed in the bowl, taking a deep inhale. She quickly hands it to Duncan while holding her breath in for several more seconds before exhaling, the smoke cloud right in front of Annie. "See, it's that easy. Just don't hold yours in for that long," Britta laughs.

Duncan takes his hit and passes to Annie who eyes the item in her hand for a moment before following the example set by her friends.

She can feel the heat of the smoke in her lungs and quickly expels it. Annie begins coughing lightly, but a nervous smile still on her face. "Not bad," she breathes out and laughs. She hands Jeff the blunt and lighter, and he smiles, glad that she actually went through with it.

15 Minutes Later

"Wow," Annie says quietly as she leans back into the couch. "This couch is so much comfier than I remember."

Jeff glances over at her and raises an eyebrow. She starts to giggle. "What?" He asks with a chuckle of his own.

"I don't know," Annie sighs. She moves close to Jeff and leans her head against his shoulder. "You're so comfy, too."

Another 10 Minutes

Annie reaches out towards Britta, signaling her desire for another hit.

"Hold on, I have to pack it again," Britta says and stands up slowly, going to the dining table.

Annie pouts and falls back into the couch.

Britta perks up. "Oh my gosh! I almost forgot that I have a surprise for you guys!" She runs into the kitchen and returns with a plate. "I present to you the best brownies ever."

"Are you sure you should have more, Annie?" Jeff asks as she gets up to take a brownie.

Annie just glares at him as she takes a bite. She lets out a small moan. "Britta! This is sooooo great!" She announces enthusiastically.

Jeff takes one and takes a large bite. He shrugs, "Not the worst. Which is a surprise. You may not be able to cook, but you can sure bake a good pot brownie."

Not to be left out, Ian snatches one off the dish. Britta places the plate on the dining table before sitting down again.

"We should play a game."

25 Minutes Later

"Jason Bourne?"

"Hunt for the Red October?"

"Jason Bourne?"

Annie huffs. "Jeff already guessed that, Britta."

"Hey! No talking," Britta yells back.

Annie moves around trying to portray the movie through her actions, but no one quite understanding her. "C'mon! It's so easy!"

Seeing her frustration, Jeff finally gives in. "007?"

"Yes!" Annie screams happily. "Finally!"

"Okay, maybe a new game? Also I think I need another half of a brownie," says Jeff.

"What about Mario Kart? Jeff and Annie against me and Britta?" Ian suggests.

"Hell yes. It's on!" Annie shouts.

"Ha! In your faces!" Annie says proudly and high fives Jeff.

"Whatever," Britta mumbles. "That's just a video game."

"You're just mad 'cause you guys lost and that we're a way more awesome couple than you guys!" Jeff gloats.

"We're not a couple," Britta and Duncan say almost simultaneously.

5 Minutes Later

Britta holds in her breath and moves to straddle Ian before releasing the smoke into his mouth as they kiss.

Jeff nudges Annie, "Not a couple, huh?" They both laugh.

Annie tilts her head. "Is that enjoyable?" She asks Jeff.

"That? Very," he answers honestly.

Annie gets up wearing a devious smirk. She sits back down with the bowl. Jeff watches her intently. "Ready?" She raises an eyebrow and he nods sharply. Annie takes in as much as she felt was comfortable and quickly places the bowl to the side before turning to Jeff. Their lips meet and the smoke goes between the two of them as they continue kissing.

They only break apart when they hear a whistle.

Annie glances over her shoulder from her position in Jeff's lap. "Yes?"

"Never mind," Britta says with a giggle.

Annie pauses, "Since when was there music playing?"

"Always," Jeff mutters before kissing her again as they make their way to Annie's bedroom, her legs around his waist.

Annie unwillingly relinquishes her hold on his hair, which she quickly finds her way back to once he lays her on the bed.

"I really like this song," Annie whispers when Jeff's lips leave hers to trail down her neck.

"I can think of a lot of things I like better right now. One being the flavor of your skin," Jeff mumbles against her shoulder.

"You're a lot more forward about stuff when you're high," she comments.

Jeff makes his way back up to her lips. "And you're a lot more distracted."

Annie giggles, "I'm just super relaxed, yet aware of everything, and I feel really good. Happy."

Jeff smiles down at her. "Me too."

"I could get used to this."

"That was-" Annie doesn't finish her thought, instead she kisses Jeff again. "Thank you for this."

"For what?"

"For letting me relax and get out of my head. I needed tonight," she says earnestly.

"Make sure to thank Britta too. She wanted to do something nice for you," Jeff admits.

Annie smiles up at the ceiling, enjoying a quiet head, just listening to the soothing sounds of the music and Jeff's breathing. She turns on her side, one hand holding her head up and the other resting on Jeff's chest.

Jeff's gaze meets hers. "How're you feeling?"

"Still really great." Annie grins, her eyes lighting up, yet still hazy. Her fingers skin across his chest. "How would you feel about cleaning up a bit?" She lifts her eyes from her hand to meet his gleeful expression.

"Like I couldn't get in the shower fast enough."

They run into Britta and Ian on their way out of the bathroom, both still wrapped in just towels.

"Hey there you two," Britta announces, stopping them in their tracks. "We were wondering where you went off to, but I guess there was no need to worry..."

"Nope! Okay, good talk," Annie squeaks and scurries into her bedroom, pulling Jeff with her.

The Next Morning

Annie wakes up coughing. Jeff hands her his water bottle.

"Well, that was an interesting night."

"Wait, what was the last thing you remember?" Jeff asks.

"After we got changed and took that first shot. The rest is kinda..."

"We what?" Annie yells.

"Britta, I'm really sorry! I obviously wasn't in my right mind and you weren't either," Annie apologizes hastily.

"Annie, really, its fine. That's nothing compared to what I've done in my days of partying," Britta assures her. She goes on with the mundane task of cleaning up after their night.

"So, that's all?" Annie asks.

Britta shrugs, "Yeah. It was just a kiss Annie. We're just lucky our crazy selves didn't do more."

Annie glares at Jeff who laughs at her incredulous gasp. He walks behind her and wraps her in a hug, lowering his mouth to her ear. "It was really hot," Jeff whispers.
