Dear Readers,

I want to acknowledge the end of Game of Thrones recently.

I have so many mixed emotions as a fan who has followed the series at its inception as a young teenager, who was inspired to go into filmmaking because of the things GoT was doing.

This story was my love letter to the show and to the books, and for that I want to acknowledge how truly amazing Game of Thrones was.

Who didn't cry when Ned died? Who didn't watch the Battle of Blackwater with bated breath? Or got chills when Robb Stark was crowned King-in-the-North? The Purple Wedding blew me away, and the death of Prince Oberyn haunts me to this day.

The Light of the Seven is one of the greatest musical scores I have ever heard to accompany a scene of terror when the Sept of Baelor blew up and I literally screamed.

The show did so many things so well.

I cannot say that about the last two seasons. But what I can say is I'm coming back to finish this story.

Thank you D&D for giving the world 73 Episodes. Thank you for always giving us something to talk about with loved ones and strangers alike. Thank you for finding the best crews to bring Westeros to life and giving us Clegane Bowl.

And thank you for inspiring me to come back to my A Time For Wolves series. I'm back. Stay tuned.

Samwell Stark
