Opportunity Missed
Opportunity Missed:
A Poem:
Kurei on Mikagami

My Page

The silver-haired boy, I wanted for me,
Cold-blooded and focused, with unwavering pride--
His strength and his mind, plain for all to see--
So why did he not join the Uruha's side?

Until last year, we'd kept open a space
In my circle of Ten where I knew he belonged;
But the boy remained ignorant of his illustrious place,
As he was obsessed with righting a wrong.

And so another was given the spot,
The respect and the privilege which should have been his,
To dispose of the wasted one, we created a plot--
Shall the boy ever know of the opportunity missed?
