"Your bumps coming along nicely, I got you these for the baby" Gerry held out a large gift bag to Louise who was sat on the desk with a cuppa.

"Aw thank you Gerry you shouldn't have, quick give me your hand" Louise toke Gerry's hand and placed it on the bump.

"wow he's going to be a great footballer when he grows up" Gerry kissed Louise on the cheek.

"Oi how do you know it's a boy!" Sandra said whilst she was putting up the new case notes.

"Rob was constantly trying to feel it kicking last night but he didn't get much luck" Louise started to open the gifts that Gerry had given her and she started to cry.

"Hey, what's wrong? Did I get the wrong thing?" Gerry put his arm around Louise.

"No they're perfect, I just can't believe how different my life is" the tears continued to roll down Louise's face as she opened the rest of the gifts that Gerry got her.

"You soppy cow, Rob sort her out" Sandra said as Rob strolled into the office.

"What's happened?" He hurried towards Louise looking for answers

"We're fine, Gerry got us some baby bits it just set me off"

"Aw cheers Gerry, my boss has left us a gift voucher for some baby clothes in my office, we can go over and get some after work if you like" Rob said as Louise guided his hand around the bump to where the baby was kicking.

"It's nothing really, we're looking forward to it just as much as you guys, right what we got today?" Gerry winked at Louise and made his way towards Sandra and the bored.

"Believe me Gerry nobody is more excited than me, is that?" Robs face lit up as he felt a soft kick in his hand.

"That's our baby, it must of been Gerry who got her going"

"Did you come down for anything in particular or just to feel up the staff" Sandra glared at Rob, if she was honest she still wasn't happy about the fact they were together let alone having a baby.

"There was something but I can't remember what it was, so I'll just stand here for now" Rob leaned in for a kiss.

"Well I hate to disappoint but we're busy" Louise got off the desk and moved near to the bored to read the notes.

"Right well that's me told, I'll see you all later then" Rob caught Louise's cheek for another kiss which made her laugh and off he went passing Brian and jack.

"Now that you're all here, can we just stop with the baby talk" Louise asked the group.

"Something wrong?" Jack inquired.

"No just every conversation that I've had with Rob since we found out has been about the baby, come to think of it even our arguments have been" jack passed Louise a cup of tea as she half smiled at him.

"Dinner tonight at my place?" Gerry asked the group.

"I'm up for that" Sandra said a bit too enthusiastically.

"I'll bring Esther" Brian shouted as he walked out the door

"Yeah, why not" jack said as he sipped his tea.

"Yeah, Rob can babysit" Louise said as she sat behind her computer.

"Well he can come as well if you like, he is your partner after all" Gerry winked at Louise

Later that day

"See you tonight" Louise called to The group as they made their way out of the office.

"Take away, movie and then once the boys are in bed I can show you just how much I've missed you" Rob walked past the others and called out to Louise.

"As lovely as that sounds we're going to Gerry's, I've found us a babysitter so we'll get the boys from school and then head out once we've fed them" Louise got up to grab her coat.

Rob put his arms around her waist. "I was hoping we'd be able to spend sometime just me and you. I don't feel like I've seen you properly without them or the boys"

"I know but Gerry has invited us over to his so it'd be rude to say no" Louise went to move Robs arms away from her just as he said "have I done something wrong?"

"What no of course you haven't, what makes you say that?" Louise pulled Rob closer to her.

"You don't seem to want be around me when it's just us two"

"We wake up together and we go to sleep together! It's not quite as exciting as it was before we moved in together but once we're sorted with the baby and you've properly moved in then we can get back to normal" Louise moves Robs hand to where the baby was kicking.

"I suppose" Rob couldn't help but smile whenever he held Louises bump.

"Hey, come on don't be like that. Our baby is going to make it all worth while in the end" Louise passionately kisses Rob.

"For someone who didn't want it in the first place you seem very excited" Rob made a fair point.

"I thought we were over that now! Rob you have reassured me time and time again that everything is going to be ok, so I can't wait to start a family with you" Rob lifted Louise up so that she was sat on the desk.

"You've no idea how much that means to me" he said in between planting kisses on her lips and undoing her blouse.

"Not here, believe me there's nothing I want more than to just do this all day everyday but unfortunately we have dinner with friends which we can't be late to, so can we get a move on" Louise stopped Rob before she lost control of herself.
