What's Wrong With This Picture?

"Eh…what?" Rockman rubbed his eyes. "Oh, hey, good morning."
"Why the heck didn't you wake me up for school?!"
Rockman watched as his operator fumbled a bit as he tried to get dressed, brush his teeth, comb his hair, and eat some toast at the same time. "Oh, come on! It's not like you have to go to school every day.."
"Uh, yeah, I do." He yanked a blue shirt over his head and snatched his PET. "It's kind of, you know, the law."
"If I told you it was Saturday, would you stay home?"
"Is it Saturday?"
"Well, no, but…" Rockman shrugged. "You can't be so…oh, what's the word? Never mind. There's an old saying over in America, 'All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy.'"
"And in my opinion, all play with no work makes Johnny a dumb boy."
"That's not what I'm saying!" Rockman exclaimed, "I'm not saying 'stop working', I'm saying you've got to take a break and have some fun for a while! What if your head explodes?"
"Rockman, it's impossible for someone's head to explode from studying too much."
"…Well, maybe someone will stick a bomb in your head, and you won't notice because you were studying!"
The boy burst out laughing and replied, "You know, if I didn't have you around, I'd probably spend my time in a cold, damp room with an eBook. You've done a lot more than you think, Rockman." He suddenly stared off into the distance, deep in thought. "Hey, do you ever wonder what it'd be like if…"
"…If what?" Rockman inquired.
"If you were the operator, and I was the Navi…" He smiled, "I've always wondered what it'd be like inside the net."
Rockman chuckled. "Oh please, Saito-kun. As if that's ever going to happen."
