Hey guys, I'm back with the next chapter of this story! I'm glad to see that most of you seemed to enjoy the last chapter, which continued the rebel's final battle against the empire and killed off Minister Honest. I severely overestimated how much content was left. After reading through what's left for this story, this will end up being the final chapter of this story. It's been an amazing journey and I've loved every second of writing this story. Thank you all for sticking with me and reading this story!

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT, PLEASE READ*** I already made this announcement on my P atreon page, but I wanted you all to be the next people to learn about the new story I've been thinking about creating. Now, I want to preface this by saying nothing is 100% concrete yet. And if I do end up starting this story, it won't be until after I complete either my Batman or Pokemon stories. So please, while I'm interested in doing this new story, don't take this post as confirmation that will happen. Anyway, the story I've been thinking about making will be set in the Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier) universe. It will center on how Yuuki was raised by his sister, and how a change in that upbringing will affect the rest of the story.
And lastly, I want to give a special shoutout to my P atreon backers! You're all awesome and I appreciate your support!
Well, that's all I wanted to say, so let's get to the fic!

(Capital's Underground Tunnels)
"Saikyuu, sir..." A palace guard muttered as the flickering light from his torch dimly lit the pitch-black passage. "With the supreme teigu being used, do we really still need to flee?"
"I can understand why you'd think that. But, even though the supreme teigu's power is devastating, you will still lose if it's not utilized properly. His Highness is too kind and naive." Saikyuu explained as he carefully examined the book in his hands, struggling a bit due to the lack of lighting. Saikyuu was a middle-aged man with slick, dark hair, a fu-manchu mustache, and glasses. He donned the standard Imperial uniform, which consisted of a white shirt with a necktie and leather jacket. "If we escape now, we should be able to make a clean escape." Releasing a light sigh, Saikyuu loudly closed his book. "We can return after our victory. And if we do lose, I can rebuild our nation somewhere else with my teigu."
The book Saikyuu held was actually a teigu known as The World Encyclopedia, Rongo Rongo. The book contained maps of the entire known world. The information about the Empire's territories was especially detailed and included details ranging from the regional products to the geology of the land. On the last page, there were predictions of natural disasters that would happen in the future. At a glance, the teigu looked similar enough to a regular book. However, it did sport a rather monstrous-looking red eye on the cover, with what appeared to be teeth where the eyelids would be.
"This why I never aimed for higher positions of power. With a revolution like this, they'd obviously target someone like the prime minister first." Saikyuu thought with a smirk as he pushed up his glasses. "I'll stay in the shadows and live as I please. That's my philosophy of life."
"You won't get away..." Saikyuu felt a chill run down his spine when he heard a menacing voice echo down the passage they had just come from. The corridor was so dimly lit that Saikyuu and his guards couldn't see anything at first, only hearing the sounds of approaching footsteps. However, it didn't take long for their assailant to step into the torchlight. It was none other than Akame, her hand already firmly gripping Murasame's hilt. "Everyone who has caused the people to suffer will be laid to rest in pieces."
"Akame!" Saikyuu exclaimed in shock, taking a few fearful steps back. In an instant, Saikyuu's four guards formed a defensive formation in front of him. Without a word, Akame unsheathed Murasame and sprinted toward Saikyuu. Despite their terror, Saikyuu's guards charged forward to face the Night Raid assassin. "Right now...a battle that will go down in history is happening...yet you're down here in these dank underground tunnels...stopping me from escaping." Saikyuu watched in frozen terror as Akame effortlessly sliced through his guards, cutting through their bodies like butter. Staring at his butchered guards, Saikyuu locked eyes with Akame. His breath hitched when he saw how coldly Akame looked at him. "She truly is the ideal assassin."
"Target Saikyuu..." Akame said as she raised Murasame and pointed it at her target. "You will rest in pieces."
"Open your damn mouth! Come up with something that will keep you alive! Akame used to work for the empire. There must be some way to bargain with her. As long as I get out of here alive, things will work out. Something! Anything!" Saikyuu thought as he bit the back of his hand, desperately wracking his brain for any excuse he could give that would convince Akame to spare his life. "If you spare my life...uhm...well-"
"No mercy." Saikyuu didn't even have a chance to finish before Akame shot forward, cutting him in two diagonally starting from his shoulder. "Those were my orders. And leave no openings that can be exploited. That's how I was raised. That's who I am." Glancing back, Akame watched as Murasame's poisonous runes spread across Saikyuu's body. However, she quirked an eyebrow when she spotted an odd-looking book on the ground next to Saikyuu "A book? Is this thing a teigu? I should take it to the boss just to be safe." Just as Akame was about to secure Rong Rongo, she tensed up when she heard footsteps approaching. Readying Mursamame, she whipped toward where the footsteps were coming from. "Who's there!"
"Woah, what a surprise seeing you down here." Akame quirked an eyebrow when she recognized the voice. After a few more moments, from the shadows emerged Suzuka, a smirk on her face as she waved to Akame. "I came to deliver a message, but it looks like I was too late. So, Saikyuu has been killed...I can't say I'm surprised."
"Suzuka..." Akame muttered, not knowing whether to feel relieved or tense. Suzuka's relaxed demeanor was throwing the red-eyes assassin off. "What is with this woman? She keeps popping up out of nowhere."
"Long time no see, Akame." Suzuka said with a chuckle as she rested her hands on her hips. "To be honest, I don't want to kill you, Akame." Holding up her hands, Suzuka began to walk toward the red-eyed assassin. "So, how about this, we pretend we never saw each other. I'll keep walking down this tunnel and you head back into the capital to help your friends." Suddenly, the tunnel began to quake, chunks falling from the ceiling. "With that big ass teigu out there, I'm sure they could use your help."
"How do I know you won't attack me once my guard is lowered?" Akame asked, lowering Murasame slightly as her eyes narrowed. "You're loyal to empire, aren't you?"
"HAH! I'm not loyal to anything or anyone. I don't care whether the empire or the revolutionary army wins." Suzuka laughed as she stopped a few steps away from Akame. "I'm just doing what's best for me. And right now, that's getting out of this damn city." Stepping forward, Suzuka rested a hand on Akame's shoulder, whispering in the red-eyed assassin's ear. "Besides, Tatsumi and Esdeath would be mighty mad at me if I did anything that hurt you."
"..." Akame said nothing, tightening her grip on Murasame's hilt. "Why do you care what they think?"
"Ah, you wouldn't understand." Suzuka said with a faint blush as she hugged herself, a dreamy look in her eyes. "The delicious pain those could inflict upon me..." A visible shudder ran through Suzuka's body as a slight moan escaped her lips. "Just the thought is enough to get me going."
"What the hell..." Akame muttered under her breath, feeling quite uncomfortable with her current situation. "Are you in love with Tatsumi or something?"
"Love? No, nothing like that. I'd prefer something much more...physical." Suzuka said as she began to continue walking down the tunnel. With a wave, Suzuka disappeared into the darkness. "Goodbye Akame, I'm sure we'll see each other again."
"I pray we don't..." Akame said, sheathing Murasame and jogging back down the tunnel. "I need to get back and help Tatsumi."
(Same Time: Capital Streets)
"Why, you...you dare turn your blade against me? Who...who are you?" The emperor growled as he glared at Tatsumi, the supreme teigu towering over the lone assassin. "Do you no fear it?! The supreme teigu!?"
"I know charging in definitely confused him..." Tatsumi thought, tightly clutching Neuntote as he stared up at the imposing behemoth before him. "But it seems like he doesn't have 100% control of his teigu. I'll just keep on the offensive and win!"
"I've had enough of this! The minister told me about a special ability this teigu has that will allow me to defeat you treacherous rebels!" The emperor exclaimed as he tightly balled his fists. "Supreme teigu! Activate secret weapon, Purge Mode!"
The emperor felt a chill run down his spine as the bubble he floated in began to rubble. He gasped when a flesh-like material began to fill the bubble, hands reaching out and grabbing hold of him. Seeing dozens of eyes and several twisted smiles forming on the fleshy material, the emperor quickly began to regret his decision. But, before he could do anything, the hideous, fleshy ooze completely enveloped him.
"What the hell is happening...some type of new attack?" Tatsumi muttered as he watched what appeared to be fangs form where the supreme teigu's mouth would have been. Then, what seemed like muscle, grew along the supreme teigu's chest and arms. Lastly, large, disgusting eyes grew on the supreme teigu's face and shoulders. "Holy shit...it transformed?"
"Partner...I've got a really bad feeling about this."
"You defied this great empire. You foolish imbeciles." The emperor said in a shockingly cold and menacing tone as the fleshy material released him. "As this nation's ruler, I will pass judgment upon you all!"
Letting out a ferocious roar, the supreme teigu leaned forward, dozens of beams of energy launching from its back. With a spine-chilling whir, the beams began to rain down on the capital. The energy beams landed indiscriminately all across the capital, hitting rebels, imperial soldiers, and even civilians. Entire buildings were leveled and hundreds of people were killed in the blink of an eye.
(Same Time: Several Miles Away from the Capital)
"What the heck kind of weapon are they using?" Kurome asked in terror as she watched a massive mushroom cloud forming in the distance. She couldn't help but worry about her big sister, praying she was safe. "I had no idea the empire was hiding such a devastating weapon."
"Kurome..." Wave said, holding his dark-haired lover close as he grit his teeth in frustration. "They're planning on wiping out every living thing..."
"Wave..." Kurome said as she looked up at her lover, seeing the anger in his eyes. "I know you're worried about the capital. After that massive explosion...you're worried about the people, aren't you?" Reaching over, Kurome gently gripped Wave's sleeve. "It's okay! Go and check on them. You've got your strength back. And, without me weighing you down, you can get there in a flash. I'll be waiting for you to come back. I don't want to deprive you of your defining trait, Wave! The fact that you left the army is more than enough. You have to stay true to yourself, Wave." Looking up, Kurome locked eyes with Wave. "You'll listen to whatever I say, right? Then go. And promise me you'll come back! I'll be fine waiting by myself for a while."
"You're right." Wave said with a chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest. "I know you can take care of yourself. Okay...I'll go. If there are people suffering, I'll save them." Stepping forward, Wave embraced Kurome in a loving hug. "But, I promise you that I will return."
"I know..." Kurome said as she stood up on her toes and kissed Wave's cheek. "Now go be a hero."
"Dear god..." Tatsumi breathed out in horror as he watched smoke billow all across the capital. He could hear the horrified screams of civilians as they ran for their lives. "Citizens...and your own soldiers...you hit them with your attack as well..."
"Keh heh heh heh..." The emperor cackled as a dark sphere of energy began to form on the supreme teigu's chest. The sphere of swirling energy grew larger and larger until it was nearly as large as a building. "This is it! The light to usher in the new thousand-year empire!"
"Stop! You're going to-" Tatsumi started to yell, dashing toward the supreme teigu. But, he was too late. The dark sphere of energy was fired toward the revolutionary army's front lines. Landing just outside the capital's walls, the sphere exploded in a blinding flash of light and a deafening explosion. A massive cloud of smoke and debris was thrown up into the air, casting a shadow upon the capital. In an instant, thousands of rebel soldiers had been reduced to ashes. Feeling his blood start to boil, Tatsumi tightly clenched his teeth. "So much death in an instant...such an abomination must be stopped."
"I'm with you, partner. This devastation must be stopped."
"My father and mother treasured this country. And you vermin are ruining it!" The emperor exclaimed in a deranged tone as he began to prepare another barrage. "I will purge you all in holy fire! Every last one of you!"
"Get your head out of your ass!" Tatsumi roared, launching toward the supreme teigu with explosive speed. "You're killing innocent people!"
"Oh my, I forgot..." The emperor said in a cold tone as he turned the supreme teigu toward Tatsumi. "There was a rodent close by." Suddenly, the supreme teigu's head reared back as a bulge traveled up its throat. Then, the mechanical monster seemingly vomited up a wriggling mass of flesh. However, the wad of flesh quickly separated into dozens of flying, monstrous creatures. "Go! My true imperial guards!"
"..." Tatsumi said nothing, fearlessly continuing his charge toward the swarm of enemies. Fueled by his burning rage and sense of justice, Tatsumi effortlessly cut the flying soldiers down. Neuntote sliced through anything in Tatsumi's path, their maimed bodies falling to the ground below. "Is that the best you've got!?" Finally closing the distance, Tatsumi readied Neuntote and struck the supreme teigu's face. An explosive shockwave burst out as the massive mechanical abomination was knocked back several feet. However, when the dust cleared, Tatsumi was shocked to see that his attack had barely left a scratch. "Shit! It wasn't just his weapons that were enhanced! His armor is way stronger than it was before!"
"Even though you're a mere insect, you're really starting to piss me off." The emperor growled as the supreme teigu brushed off Tatsumi's attack. "First things first. I'm going to make sure you die."
"PARTNER! RUN, NOW!"
"Try this one for size!" The emperor roared as he unleashed another barrage of energy beams, this time all of them aimed at Tatsumi. The assassin's eyes widened in shock, and he immediately began to retreat. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop, he narrowly avoided the lightning-fast beams. "I wonder, how long can you keep this up?"
"Damn it! They're endless!" Tatsumi thought, leaping away from a beam that narrowly missed him. However, he was shocked when the beam suddenly exploded right in front of him. Showcasing his impressive reflexes, Tatsumi grit his teeth as he lept away from the explosion at the last second, barely avoiding the scorching flames. "Fuck! They don't even need to hit their targets to blow?!"
"With this many blasts...you'll leave yourself wide open sooner or later..." The emperor said smugly as he watched Tatsumi narrowly dodge explosion after explosion. "And that will be your downfall."
"Damn it! He's lost his fucking mind!" Tatsumi thought, feeling the heat from a near miss light up his back. "Should I just throw caution to the wind and tank a hit?!" However, that thought immediately left Tatsumi's mind when he noticed one of the beams veering away and heading toward a crowd of fleeing civilians. Without a second thought, Tatsumi rushed and used his body as a shield. A thunderous explosion rang out as the beam slammed into Tatsumi's back, absorbing all of the damage. Looking down, Tatsumi breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that all of the civilians were unharmed, all of them staring at him in shock. "Thank god...I...made it in time."
However, the civilians screamed in horror when a massive blade suddenly stabbed Tatsumi in the back. Blood gushed from Tatsumi's wound as he slammed into the ground with enough force to crack the pavement. All the civilians could do was watch in silent terror as their savior coughed up a mouthful of blood. Tatsumi's entire body felt numb as he struggled to even breathe, his vision starting to blur.
"I've got yooouuuu." The emperor taunted as he yanked his blade back, lifting Tatsumi off the ground. The Night Raid was motionless as he was pulled toward the supreme teigu, struggling to even stay conscious. "Hmph. You gave me quite a bit of trouble." The supreme teigu cocked its fist back, glowing energy flowing off it. "This is the ultimate close-range attack..." Rocketing forward, the supreme teigu's fist crashed into Tatsumi, slamming the assassin into the ground with a devastating explosion. "Supreme Fist!" A massive cloud of dust and debris obscured the crater Tatsumi had been smashed into. "Execution over."
"Am...I...going to...die here?" Tatsumi thought as all of his senses felt dull and faded. He struggled to stay conscious, with moving being completely out of the question. As Tatsumi took several labored breaths, his vision started to focus when several figures appeared in front of him. His eyes widened slightly when he saw that it was each of his lovers. "Girls...I'm so sorry...when I saw those people...my body just acted on its own." Each of the girls kneeled down next to Tatsumi, sad looks in their eyes. Mustering up enough strength, Tatsumi reached up and gently caressed Akame's cheek. "But...I'll come back to you all...I'll come back...I promise..."
"You will come back to them, partner. I swear you won't die here. We've come too far and worked too hard. Now, just get some rest. I'll handle things from here."
"Now, it's time too..." The emperor started to say. However, he stopped when he glanced down and noticed Tatsumi getting back onto his feet. "What?! He's still standing after being hit by the Supreme Fist!? Your insolence knows no bounds!"
"We won't quit until your reign of terror has ended." A new, dark, and menacing voice echoed out from Tatsumi's armor, catching the emperor off guard. Suddenly, a pair of golden wings exploded out of Tatsumi's back. "We will stop you...no matter what."
"On my honor as emperor...I will make truly understand the word execution!" The young emperor shouted as energy began to form in front of the supreme teigu's mouth. "Your defiance ends here!"
"So, he still intends to focus his fire on us...that's fine with us." Incursio thought, his eyes narrowing as he glared fiercely at the monstrous teigu that towered over them. "If he launches another wide-scale attack..."
Incursio never got to finish his thought as a thunderous crack rang out from the sky overhead. Looking up, he was surprised to see something piercing through the clouds. A split second later, something slammed into the supreme teigu's face, causing the towering teigu to stumble backward.
"Grand Fall: Fluegel!" Incursio was surprised to see that it was Wave who had come to his aid. But what surprised Incursio the most was that Wave appeared to be wielding Mastema alongside Grand Chariot.
"A new pest appears!?" The emperor roared as he tried to swat Wave out of the air, but he easily managed to dodge the sloppy attack. "How many of you vermin are hiding in the shadows!?" Letting out another fearsome roar, the supreme teigu unleashed a massive shockwave that sent both Wave and Incursio flying back several hundred feet, eventually coming to a skidding stop next to each other. "I'll just have to do a thorough sweep!"
"Wave...we thought you were supposed to leave the empire with Kurome. What are you doing here? And how are you using Mastema? It's usually impossible for someone to wield two teigu at once."
"That voice..." Wave said in a suspicious tone, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "You're Incursio aren't you? What have you done with Tatsumi?"
"Relax, we don't have time to be fighting each other. Tatsumi was severely injured and I took control so that we could keep fighting."
"I know Tatsumi really trusts you...so, I'll trust his judgment." Wave said as he released a light sigh. "And to answer your questions. About the two teigus. Captain Esdeath allowed me to retrieve Mastema from Run's body, instead of turning it over to the revolutionary army. And, as for why I'm here. Kurome just so happens to be the best girlfriend ever. I came to evacuate civilians, but...I owe you...well, I owe Tatsumi. So, I'm going to pay him back, so I can stay true to myself."
"If you want to help, we won't stop you...you're a good man, Wave."
"If you think anything like Tatsumi, then I know you want to push back that giant teigu." Wave said with a smirk, both armored teigu users staring down the imposing supreme teigu as its eyes shimmered ominously. "Let's go."
"We're with you."
"Short-range scan for enemies complete..." The emperor said as he focused his attention back on Incursio and Wave. "The only pests around are the ones in front of me. And from the readings...only one of them is human." Raising one of the supreme teigu's legs, the emperor planned to stomp Incursio and Wave underneath his massive boot. "No matter! I'll simply crush you both! Especially that tenacious rat from earlier!"
With their wings granting them drastically increased speed, Wave and Incursio easily managed to avoid the emperor's attack. Soaring into the air, Wave and Incursio began to attack the supreme teigu simultaneously. They unleashed a barrage of combined attacks, focusing their strikes on the supreme teigu's head. Incursio finished their tandem attacks with a powerful uppercut, causing the supreme teigu's head to snap back. However, Wave and Incursio were shocked to see that despite their combined efforts, the monstrous teigu still seemed unfazed.
"That didn't even tickle." The emperor spat as he sneered at his enemies, before unleashing another barrage of energy beams. "Don't underestimate the supreme teigu!"
Reacting quickly, Incursio and Wave began to fly away from the beams of energy. They soared through the air, circling and rolling to narrowly dodge the unrelenting attacks. This went on for nearly a minute, with Incursio and Wave circling around most of the capital in their attempts to avoid being hit. However, Wave soon grew tired of running and turned to face the energy beams head-on.
"Mastema!" Wave exclaimed, making an 'X' shape with his arms. A split second later, hundreds of feathers fired from his wings and intercepted the energy beams, causing them to explode at a safe distance. "Thank you for lending me your strength, Run!"
"We still don't have enough power to defeat that monster...I'm sorry, partner...but I'm going to need more of my power. We need to sacrifice more of your body." Incursio thought as he hunched over, more of his draconic feature engulfing Tatsumi's body. Instead of a suit of armor, it looked more and more like Tatsumi's body was being fused with Incursio's. But, with this change came an increase in power as an aura of energy radiated off Incursio's body. The powerful, flowing energy changed Incursio's armor to a magnificent golden color. "Hold on, partner. I know this must hurt, but we have to draw out all of our power."
"What...is that?" The emperor asked in wide-eyed shock, gazing at Incursio's menacing new form. With a thunderclap, Incursio rocketed toward the supreme teigu with Neuntote raised. "Crap." Feeling an overwhelming sense of dread, the emperor raised the supreme teigu's arms to block Incursio's attack. "Who is this monster!? He's forcing the most supreme of all teigus to go on the defensive!"
"Whoa..." Wave breathed out as he watched Incursio rejoin his side. "Incursio...did you get even stronger?"
"We've evolved...but, this power comes with a price." Wave quirked an eyebrow at this cryptic answer. Taking a deep breath, Incursio balled his fists. "We'll need to attack the same spot at the same time if we want to do any real damage." Without any further explanation, Incursio began to race toward the supreme teigu. "Follow our lead!"
"I'm on it!" Wave exclaimed without any hesitation, flying directly behind Incursio. "Let's do this!"
"Vermin!" The emperor shouted as energy began to gather in front of the eye on the supreme teigu's chest. "Have a taste of my Supreme Canon."
"Not so fast!" Wave exclaimed, using Mastema to fire out a barrage of feathers that struck the eye. After a large explosion, the gathered energy immediately dissipated. "How about you have a taste of this instead?!"
Wave quickly linked up with Incursio, their backs practically touching. With a leg extended outward, Incursio and Wave rocketed forward. They simultaneously struck the supreme teigu with a devastating kick to its chest. The power behind their combined attack caused the supreme teigu's armor to crack and partially cave in. The emperor let out a pained yell as the supreme teigu was sent skidding back several hundred feet, leveling dozens of buildings in its path as it fell onto one knee.
"It seems to have worked, he has been pushed back. We must thank you, Wave."
"I'm going to protect the civilians while they evacuate, then pull out." Wave said as he released a light sigh. "Sorry for being selfish."
"It is fine. You've been more than enough help. Now go, you're needed elsewhere."
"Good luck, Tatsumi...Incursio..." Wave said before flying toward the closest group of fleeing civilians. "I really hope you guys win."
"Now, we can give you our undivided attention." Incursio said as he stared down the supreme teigu, watching as it recovered from the last attack. "You're finished."
"I...am the emperor...and you dare to keep assaulting me?" The emperor growled, slowly getting the supreme teigu back onto its feet. "I won't be satisfied even if I behead every single one of you treacherous rats."
"Emperor? How laughable. You're no emperor."
"What did you say?! I'll cut that filth-spouting tongue from your mouth!" The emperor roared as he raised his staff above his head. "I can see it now! The beautiful victory at the end of this fight. A victory for this sweet empire. It will last another thousand years into the future."
"You truly are a naive fool." Incursio growled, gesturing to the wanton death and destruction that swept through the capital. "Forget about the future. Look at what's going on right before your eyes."
"..." The emperor said nothing as he gazed at the misery that had fallen upon the capital. He gripped his staff a bit tighter as he watched civilians scream in terror as they fled the city. His eyes widened slightly when he noticed that even his own soldiers were amongst those escaping. "Why are they fleeing? Desertion is punishable by death."
"Don't you get it? They can't follow you anymore and we can't blame them. Your wanton attacks have rained down upon your own soldiers and innocent civilians. There's no way someone as careless as you is fit to lead."
"Those...those cowards!" The emperor exclaimed in fury as he began to froth at the mouth in sheer rage. "This is how those disloyal dogs repay me for the kindness I've shown them?!"
"We strongly urge you to end this fight before there is any more pointless death and destruction. Just give up."
"S-Shut your mouth!" The emperor roared, barreling toward Tatsumi with reckless abandon. "I won't tolerate another word out of your blasphemous mouth!"
"We must stop his rampage at all costs or else the capital will be completely destroyed." Incursio thought as he readied Neuntote. However, he was surprised when walls of ice began to form along the supreme teigu's legs, holding the monstrous, mechanical abomination in place. Looking at the streets below, Incursio saw that Esdeath had finally managed to join the battle within the capital. "Looks like backup has arrived."
"Tatsumi!" Esdeath called out, making a sweeping gesture with her arms which caused spikes of ice to jab and prod at the supreme teigu's legs. "I've gotten the rebel soldiers to safety, so I've come to help you, my love! I'll hold him back, so you go in and attack!"
"General Esdeath!?" The emperor exclaimed in a furious tone as he reared the supreme teigu's fist back, preparing to attack his former general. "So, the reports were true! You're nothing but a filthy traitor!" With a small shockwave, the supreme teigu's fist rocketed forward. "And you dare defy your emperor!"
"Not so fast!" A new voice called out, moments before something crashed into the supreme teigu's arm, knocking it off target. With a thunderous crash, the supreme teigu's fist smashed through several buildings. When the dust and debris finally began to settle, Inucrsio was surprised to see that it was Susanoo who had redirected the attack. The biological teigu was standing on a rooftop below Incursio, seeming to be completely revived and at full strength. The only noticeable change in Susanoo's appearance was a large crack in the red disk on his chest. "I apologize for arriving so late. Najenda didn't want to waste any energy and call me out too early into the battle. But, it seems like my assistance is finally needed."
"I'm glad to see that you're well, Susanoo. I'm sure Tatsumi will be delighted to see you again."
"Wait a minute...you're not Tatsumi..." Esdeath in an icy tone as her eyes narrowed slightly. She winced slightly as she continued to use more of her ice to keep the supreme teigu at bay. "You're Incursio, aren't you?"
"Yes. Tatsumi was severely injured, so I temporarily took control of his body." Incursio said, pressing a hand over his heart. "But, do not worry, Tatsumi is still in here."
"You being in control isn't what I'm worried about." Another new voice said which caused Incursio to perk up slightly. Looking back over toward the rooftop Susanoo was on, Incursio was surprised to see that Akame, Leone, and Chelsea had joined him. "That appearance...Tatsumi's body is changing by the second."
"That's not all." Leone said as she sniffed several times, a worried look in her golden eyes. "I can barely pick up Tatsumi's scent...you're completely overpowering it now."
"When you first made your presence known to us, you said that we can trust you...that you're here to help us change the future..." Chelsea said, stepping forward and locking eyes with Incursio as she clutched a hand over her heart. "But can we really trust you? How can we know you won't take over Tatsumi's body once this is all over?"
"Your fear is understandable, but you should have nothing to worry about. If I'm correct, Tatsumi should return to normal when this battle is over."
"..." Akame said nothing as she locked eyes with Incursio, her grip on Murasame tightening slightly. After a few moments, she relaxed her grip and released a light sigh. "Tatsumi trusts you, Incursio...so, the rest of us will as well." Akame looked at her fellow Night Raid members and they all nodded their heads. "We're all here to help you, so where do you need us?"
"Thank you all for your support. Akame, Leone, and Chelsea, you three assist civilians in evacuating the city, then get out yourself. Wave should be around here, try to link up with him. Esdeath, keep the supreme teigu locked in place. Susanoo, you deflect any attacks. I'll prod the armor for weak points and focus my attacks there if I find one."
"Got it. Leone, Chelsea, let's go." Akame said as she began to sprint off the rooftop, with Leone and Chelsea following right behind her. However, before she lept off the roof, Akame spared one last glance back at Incursio. "You better come back to us, Tatsumi."
"I don't mean to rush you guys..." Esdeath said in a strained voice, slapping her hands onto the ground to send out a fresh wave of ice to repair the portions that were cracking. The blue-haired former general was panting lightly as sweat dripped off her brow. "But could you please hurry up?! I don't know how much longer I can hold this thing back! It's like trying to stop a mountain!"
(Same Time: Capital's Gates)
"The imperial soldiers are fleeing and all the gates to the palace have been opened..." Najenda thought as she observed the battle against the supreme teigu unfold using a pair of binoculars. She could feel a subtle strain on her body after having not used Susanoo for such a long time. "Being fired upon by their own leader must have dropped their morale to zero. The use of that gigantic teigu could have shifted the battle in the empire's favor, but it seems like it will be their undoing. No...it'd be more accurate to say that Tatsumi drove them to self-destruction."
"So...is the empire finished?" One of Najenda's attendants asked, watching the capital fall into ruin before his very eyes. "Even if they somehow won...this level of death and destruction...it'd be impossible to fully recover from this."
"Yes. We may have suffered heavy losses, but..." Najenda said, hanging her head in reflection and mourning. "The battle against the empire is over." Many of the rebel soldiers broke down in tears, knowing that their long battle was nearly finished. "Now! All that's left is to finish off that giant teigu! Mobilize all teigu users!"
(Back With Incursio)
Thunderous bangs echoed throughout the capital as Incursio attacked the supreme teigu, probing for any weak spots. With its legs still frozen in place, the supreme teigu was forced to stand idly by and bear the brunt of Incursio's attacks. Whenever the emperor would try to fight back and swat Tatsumi away, Susanoo would swoop and bat the attack away. After several successive attacks, Incursio struck the supreme teigu's chest and seemingly found his weak spot.
"There...that spot Wave and I attacked in unison earlier...seems to be the weakest right now." Incursio thought as his eyes narrowed in determination, tightly gripping Neuntote. "We've got our target."
"This is beyond frustrating! I can't even properly defend myself! And even if I could, he's gotten so much faster!" The emperor thought, gritting his teeth in anger as he tried to think of any way out of his current predicament. He growled when he gazed at Incursio's appearance, noticing how much more draconic the armor had become, with numerous jagged spikes jutting out along the arms and shoulders. "What is with this guy?! He seems to be evolving by the second!"
"RAAAAAHHHH!" The emperor's eyes widened in fear when heard Incursio let out a ferocious roar. The armored teigu was surrounded by a menacing aura as it seemingly powered up even further. "Just hold on, Tatsumi! This is going to hurt, but we'll need more power to smash through that armor!"
"N-No! Stay away!" The emperor exclaimed in a panic as he frantically activated a last-ditch attack. "I'll mass launch canons and shoot you down no matter what! You damned abomination!"
"GRRRR! I just need a bit more! Hold on...we can't lose ourselves!" Incursio thought, feeling more and more of his draconic influence transforming Tatsumi's body. "Stay strong, Tatsumi! I know you're still in here!"
As Incursio continued to evolve and grow stronger, he felt his mind pulled away from the battlefield. He scanned his surroundings and noticed that he was in an empty, black void. But, he quickly realized that he wasn't alone. Standing beside him was Tatsumi, the young assassin looking like his normal self. However, what shocked Incursio the most was that standing before him and Tatsumi was Bulat.
"Big bro?" Tatsumi breathed out as he felt tears sting his eyes. "Is that really you?"
"Bulat? I never thought I'd see you again."
"Tatsumi...Incursio...remember, it's at times like this that you must shout out! With all your passion and soul!" Bulat said with a large grin, approaching Tatsumi and Incursio as he reached out and placed his hands on their heads. "Now, both of you, give it one last push! Let's finish this!"
"You're right..." Tatsumi said as Bulat's visage faded away, leaving him alone with Incursio. Taking a deep breath, Tatsumi turned to face Incursio. With a smile, Tatsumi extended his hand. "You ready to finish this, partner?"
"Yes, let's make Bulat proud." Incursio said, reaching out and gripping Tatsumi's hand. After a few moments of locking eyes, Tatsumi smirked and disappeared as well, leaving Incursio to finish the fight. Letting out a throaty growl, Incursio could feel his power swell as his evolution finished. Wielding a now enlarged and four-pronged Neuntote, Incursio rocketed toward the supreme teigu. A shockwave rang out as Incursio raced forward at an incredible speed. Remembering Bulat's words, Incursio let out a mighty roar. "INCURSIOOOOOO!"
With Susanoo running defense, stopping the supreme teigu from unleashing any attacks, and Esdeath stopping the monstrous teigu from moving, Incursio was able to attack unimpeded. A deafening bang rang throughout the capital as Incursio smashed into the supreme teigu's chest with Neuntote. After a brief moment of resistance, the supreme teigu's armor began to crack and cave in as Incursio continued to brute force his way forward.
"Keep going...don't stop until..." Incursio growled as he grit his teeth, every muscle in his body straining. "All the way through!"
"You bastard!" The emperor spat, not believing what he was seeing as warning signals popped up all around him. "How are you doing this?!"
"I made a promise that I intend to keep! And I won't rest until my mission is complete!" Incursio roared as he speared deeper into the supreme teigu's body. With one final, explosive push, Incursio burst out of the supreme teigu's back. Having pierced clean through the supreme teigu, a massive hole was left in Incursio's wake. Turning around, Incursio watched as explosions engulfed the supreme teigu, the massive teigu collapsing to the ground. "Is it finally over?"
"It can't be! My teigu! My empire!" The emperor yelled in a panic, frantically looking around as he began to lose control of the supreme teigu. "Minister of state! What should I do!? Tell me like you always do!" However, when the emperor looked toward where the minister had been standing previously, he saw that it was now abandoned and blood-stained. "No...it can't be..."
As the supreme teigu crashed to the ground, the sounds of the rebel army's cheers could be heard throughout the capital. Finally, their long and hard-fought battle was over. The great empire that had flourished for a thousand years had finally been defeated. Rebel soldiers cheered, laughed, cried, and embraced each other, celebrating their victory.
"It's done..." Incursio muttered in an exhausted as he breathed heavily, floating above the ruins of the capital. However, Incursio winced as he felt his draconic transformation rapidly begin to accelerate. "Damn it...we have to land." Nearly slamming into the ground, Incursio landed on the street below. He let out a ferocious roar as his body began to twist and enlarge, morphing more and more into his original danger beast form. "I know this hurts, partner...but it will all be over soon, I promise."
(Same Time: Several Miles Outside the Capital)
"Wave!" Kurome exclaimed, spotting her lover flying toward her. As soon as Wave touched down, Kurome ran to his side. "Are you hurt? How did it go?"
"I'm fine..." Wave said as he let out a long exhale, panting lightly. "And...I was able to save a lot of civilians from that giant tegiu's haphazard attacks. I even had some help from your older sister and other members of Night Raid. Thank you for letting me go, Kurome."
"My sister is still safe...and you helped save people..." Kurome said with a small smile, clasping her hands together. "I see...thank goodness."
"Enough of that..." Wave said with a smirk as he picked Kurome up bridal style, causing her to yelp in surprise. "Let's get out of here."
"Wave..." Kurome said in a worried tone, noticing that he was still breathing heavily. "Are you going to be okay?"
"It takes a few days to regain my strength after I cancel my teigus now, and I can't use them again during that time. So, we'd have to walk the mountain trails to avoid drawing attention. That'd take too long." Wave said as he held onto Kurome a little more tightly. "Back on the battlefield, Tatsumi and Incursio were pushing themselves to their limits." Without a second thought, Wave took to the air once again, flying Kurome further away from the capital. "Me too! I'll go all out as well!"
(Back in the Capital)
"W-Why did he turn into a dragon?" A rebel soldier asked in a worried tone, gazing at Incursio's menacing form. A large group had gathered around Incursio, staring at the transformed danger beast in awe. However, they were a little unsettled that Incursio wasn't doing anything. "And why's it just sitting there? I figured it would be rampaging or something."
"Tatsumi likely suffered a fatal wound during the battle...but the armor took over and forced him back into action." Tetsuya said as he stroked his chin, analyzing Incursio's form closely. Showing no fear, Tetsuya approached Incursio. "So...are you Tatsumi...or are you Incursio?"
"Don't worry, Tatsumi is still in here." Incursio said, hearing a danger beast speak seemed to shock everyone present. "I apologize, this must be surprising for you all. But I needed to take control to save Tatsumi's life...and because of that...this happened."
"What happens now?" The crowd of rebel soldiers separated, allowing Najenda and Susanoo to approach Incursio. "Can Tatsumi come back...or is he stuck like this?"
"If my plan works out as intended, then yes, Tatsumi will return to normal."
"And what is this plan of yours?" A familiar voice caused Incursio to perk up. Looking at the front of the crowd, he spotted Sayo staring up at him, with all of Tatsumi's lovers gathered around her. "You asked us to trust you, but you've never told us what your plan actually is."
"My apologies...I would have told you all sooner, but I didn't want to upset Tatsumi."
"Why would he be upset?" Akame asked, clutching a hand over her heart as she approached the towering danger beast. "What's going to happen?"
"Well, I told you all that I came from the future...I returned to the past to change the dark future I lived in...but...now that my mission is complete..."
"You're going back to the future..." Mine finished as her eyes widened slightly, feeling an ache in her heart. "Since you've changed the past...your future will be different...erasing your need to travel back to the past originally."
"Exactly. I will most likely disappear from the world soon...and return to my own."
"So, that's why you didn't tell Tatsumi...you two have gotten pretty close...and losing you would devastate him." Leone said, resting her hands on her hips as she locked eyes with Incursio. "Knowing Tatsumi, he'd never allow you to go through with this. He'd fight toothnail to keep you from leaving."
"What a noble sacrifice." Esdeath said as she tipped her cap. "I would have been honored to call you one of my soldiers."
"What about you? Are you okay with this?" Chelsea asked, taking the sucker out of her mouth. "Aren't you going to miss Tatsumi as well? The whole reason you came back was to save him."
"It does sadden me that I won't be able to spend any more time with Tatsumi. But, ensuring a better future is more important. I'll take solace in knowing that you all lived full, happy lives." Everyone gathered was shocked to see a smile spread across Incursio's face. "And who knows, in the future, I may be wielded by one of Tatsumi's children."
"God damn it..." Cosmina said as she lifted her glasses to wipe away tears that were forming. "I never thought a danger beast would make me cry."
"Thank you all for trust-" Incursio was cut off when he suddenly winced, his body becoming engulfed in a golden light. "Ah...it seems like it's time."
The crowd of rebel soldiers, who were originally fearful of the danger beast's sudden appearance, were now saddened to see its departure. Stepping forward, all the members of Night Raid placed a hand on Incursio. Many of them were crying, feeling like they were losing one of their comrades. Incursio had done so much for them, but there was nothing they could do to return his kindness.
"Thank you..." Each of the Night Raid members muttered as Incursio's body began to fade.
"Since I won't be able to...could you tell Tatsumi goodbye for me?"
"Of course..." Akame said, choking back a sob as tears streamed down her cheeks. "We'll tell him how much you cared for him."
"Thank you..." With those final words, Incursio faded away in a ray of golden light. But in his wake, Tatsumi remained on the ground, appearing to be back in his normal human form.
"Tatsumi!" The members of Night Raid exclaimed as they all rushed over to his side. Kneeling down, Akame rested Tatsumi's head on her lap. "Tatsumi! Come on, Tatsumi! Come back to us!"
"Ugh..." Tatsumi groaned, his eyes fluttering open. "W-What...what the hell happened?" Instantly, Tatsumi was glomped by his lovers, each of them embracing him in a massive group hug. "C-Can't breathe!" Quickly realizing that they were smothering him, the hug broke up and allowed Tatsumi to catch his breath. Pressing a hand to his head, Tatsumi sat up and scanned his surroundings. "Is it over? Did we win?"
"Yes, it's all over." Najenda said with a smile, placing a comforting hand on Tatsumi's shoulder. "We won, Tatsumi."
"The last thing I remember was getting stabbed...then everything went dark for a while...I saw Big Bro too...and Incursio..." Tatsumi said as a sudden realization struck him. Reaching down, Tatsumi grabbed Incursio's. "Was this you, Incursio? Did you help me beat that massive teigu?" However, Tatsumi received no response, and the gemstone on the hilt dimmed. "Incursio? What's wrong?"
"Tatsumi..." Akame said, gently placing her hand on top of her lover's. Looking up, Tatsumi and Akame locked eyes. She was surprised to see that Tatsumi's eyes had returned to their normal, emerald-green color. "Incursio...he really cared about you...he cared about all of us. And...he couldn't tell you himself...but he says goodbye."
"Goodbye?" Tatsumi repeated in a confused tone as he stared at Akame for several moments. However, the realization quickly downed on Tatsumi as he looked back at Incursio's blade. He noticed that he no longer felt the danger beast's presence. "No...no...he's not gone...he can't be gone! After everything we went through together, he's just going to disappear!?" Tears quickly welled up in Tatsumi's eyes and fell onto Incursio's blade. Unable to hold back any longer, Tatsumi began to weep as he held Incursio's blade tightly against his chest. Tatsumi was so overcome with grief that he didn't notice the blood spilling from his nose. "INCURSIO!"
(One Week Later: Imperial Prison)
The prison was entirely empty, except for one occupant. The former emperor sat on the floor of his dank, dark cell. His eyes were dead and lifeless as he stared down at the ground. After being captured, he was thrown in this cell and left alone as he awaited his execution. After a few days, it seemed like his wait was finally over as the doors to the cellblock were opened. Turning around, he saw Najenda and several guards approaching his cell.
"Is it time for my beheading?" The emperor asked as Najenda silently entered his cell. Releasing a heavy sigh, the emperor slowly got onto his feet. "I was a failure as an emperor...but...I guess I can do my last job properly." Giving no resistance, the emperor allowed the guards to cuff him. With a sad smile, the emperor followed Najenda out of the cell. "If I cry now, I'll be remembered as a laughingstock for sure. I'll at the very least die with my head held high."
Just outside the palace, the emperor was led to a guillotine and executed before the masses. Despite the fear he undoubtedly felt, the emperor was composed up until the very end. Following the emperor's execution, the streets of the capital were filled with celebration. Rebel army soldiers drank, ate, and danced, enjoying themselves as much as they could before they began the long and difficult task of rebuilding the empire. However, there was one group that hadn't joined in the celebrations.
"Man, those higher up at rebel army HQ are real assholes." Esdeath grumbled, walking through the forest just outside the capital. "They couldn't even let us celebrate a bit before they banished me."
"It could've been a lot worse." Tatsumi said as he clasped his hands behind his head. "They could've executed you as well." Reaching over, Tatsumi smiled and gripped Esdeath's hand. "At least you don't have to go alone."
"I suppose you're right. You're all I need, Tatsumi." Esdeath said with a faint blush, leaning over and giving Tatsumi a brief kiss. When their liplock ended, Esdeath looked back at the rest of their rather large group. "You guys are alright too."
"Oh, put a sock in it." Leone grumbled as she crossed her arms underneath her massive bust. "We're only coming along because of Tatsumi."
"You're lucky he's such a good guy." Mine said with a huff, adjusting the rifle Tatsumi had given her on her back. "The rest of us would have been happy to let you go off on your own."
"Oh, come on guys. Are we really still doing this bit?" Cosmina asked in a playful tone as she jogged in front of the group, looking back at the rest of them. "After everything we've been through, I think we all enjoy having Esdeath around. It makes things fun!"
"I do hate her marginally less than I originally did." Chelsea chimed in, popping a fresh sucker into her mouth. "Although, her constantly trying to monopolize Tatsumi is really fucking annoying."
"How are you doing, Tatsumi?" Akame asked as she ignored the playful bickering going on between the rest of the group. "I know losing Incursio really hurt you."
"I'm doing better, thanks Akame." Tatsumi said with a smile, wrapping an arm around his red-eyed lover's waist and pulling her a bit closer. "Having all my friends here for support has really helped." Looking down, Tatsumi gazed at Incursio's blade. "I can still don the armor...but I don't feel Incursio in there anymore...at least not the Incursio I knew."
"So, you think Incursio may still be in there?" Akame asked as she cocked her head a bit. "At least a different version of him?"
"Maybe...I still try to talk to him..." Tatsumi said, giving Incursio's hilt a light squeeze. "But Incursio said that it took years for him to be able to even communicate with those who wielded him. So, it may take a long time, but I won't give up. We'll be partners again."
"That's just like you, Tatsumi. Stubborn as ever." Sayo said with a smirk as she playfully punched Tatsumi's arm. "So, where are you guys headed? You have the whole world to choose from."
"Well, first, I figured we could stop in our village for a bit. Rest for a few days and gather supplies. Then, I thought we could give the western countries a try, where Mine and Cosmina come from." Tatsumi suggested, looking up at the clear sky overhead. "After that, I-" Tatsumi was stopped when the sound of a snapping twig stopped the entire group in their tracks. "Who's there?!"
"Oh well, stealth was never really my thing." A teasing voice said from behind a tree ahead of the group. After a few moments, Suzuka stepped out, with her hands raised and a smirk on her face. Glancing over at Akame, she waved to the red-eyed assassin. "Heyo, Akame. Told ya we'd see each other again."
"I was hoping you were joking." Akame said as she released a light sigh, brushing some hair out of her face. "What do you want, Suzuka?"
"Oh, nothing much..." Suzuka said in a dreamy tone, keeping her arms raised as she approached the group. With hearts in her eyes, Suzuka gazed at Tatsumi and Esdeath. "I got no reason to stay in this country...so...I was hoping I could tag along." Stepping closer, Suzuka sensually ran her hand along Tatsumi's chest and whispered into his ear. "I'll make it worth your while."
"Oh come on..." Sayo scoffed, resting her hands on her hips as she rolled her eyes. However, she was surprised to see a faint blush on Tatsumi's face as he didn't pull away from Suzuka. "Tatsumi!? You aren't seriously considering this right?!"
"Well..." Tatsumi said as he shrugged his shoulders, looking at his lovers. None of them seem surprised or annoyed by Suzuka's advances. "I'm already surrounded by crazy women. What's the harm if one more joins us?"
With the empire defeated a new nation was born. Many skilled individuals disturbed by the empire's corruption left the emperor to join the revolutionary army. Many of them survived the final battle and offered their services to this new nation. They served the empire to the very end and supported the country without dirtying their hands with crime. Even the less savory civil servants devoted themselves to the cause.
The rebellion of the Way of Peace against the country that had oppressed the people naturally settled down following the demise of the empire. A number of strict laws from the era of the empire were abolished. So, the people could relax and enjoy their work. Leading figures in local governments who demonstrated greedy ambitions and unsettling behavior were swiftly eliminated before more evil could blossom.
The tribes to the North had already been completely destroyed during the empire's reign. Diplomatic relations were established between them and the tribes to the west as they formed strong alliances. Any remaining traitorous government officials were flushed out and dealt with, stopping any seeds of disaster from sprouting. Management of the new nation born from the empire's ashes was stable. The world moved away from the dark ages when human life was valued and stepped into a new era of peace.
Thanks to the money sent to Tatsumi and Sayo's village nobody went hungry ever again. When Tatsumi and Sayo did return to their home village, they threw a massive party for their saviors' safe return, and they also mourned the loss of Ieyasu. The celebration lasted several days, but Tatsumi knew that he couldn't stay forever. The entire village was heartbroken to hear that he and the rest of his group had to leave. After a long and tear-filled goodbye, Sayo decided to stay behind in the village. She would act as an ambassador between their village and the new nation's government. This would eventually lead to Sayo being named the village's new chief several years after Tatsumi's departure. However, despite being banished from the country, Tatsumi and his group made several secret liaisons to the village every year to visit Sayo.
Once things in the capital had settled down a bit, Najenda finally made time to visit Lubbock in the hospital. She was shocked when he proposed to her on the spot. After years of war and fighting, Najenda was ready to settle down and experience love. So, without any hesitation, she accepted Lubbock's marriage proposal. They were married several months later, with the wedding being held near the border of the western country so that Tatsumi and the other members of Night Raid could attend. Because of Lubbock's injury, he wasn't able to conceive a child with Najenda, but he enjoyed every minute they tried for one. However, they were determined to be parents and ended up adopting three children who had been orphaned during the war against the empire.
Wave and Kurome were married shortly after they left the empire. While they didn't leave the country, Wave and Kurome did move close to the western border so that she could be closer to her sister. At first, things were difficult for the newlyweds. Wave's body was permanently weakened due to having used two teigu simultaneously. While Kurome was haunted by hallucinations of those she had killed with Yatsufusa. But, with each other to lean on for support, they were always happy. Eventually, Wave and Kurome settle into their new life and have two children.
After a long and exhausting journey, Tatsumi and his lovers eventually made their way to the western country. They eventually found an expansive plot of clear land near a pristine lake. It was here where they built a home. There was a small town relatively close by, but the former assassins mainly kept to themselves. They hunted, fished, grew crops, and frequently explored the surrounding area. But, most importantly, they loved each other and grew closer in their new, quiet life. Because of the love they shared, it didn't long for the house to be filled with new life.
Night Raid. In the dying days of the emperor's reign, they were considered to be a criminal organization that terrorized the capital. But, in the history book of the new nation not a word of their true achievements were ever ever recorded.
(Epilogue: Ten Years Later, Tatsumi's Homestead)
"YES! FUCK ME HARDER, TATSUMI!" Suzuka exclaimed as she bit down on the bedsheets, her entire body shuddering as Tatsumi rapidly pounded into her from behind. She yelped out in pleasure as Tatsumi reared his hand back before roughly slapping her ass. "AHN! HARDER! SPANK MY ASS RAW, TATSUMI!"
"Watch your mouth, sow." Suzuka felt a pleasurable chill down her spine when Esdeath roughly grabbed her face, forcing her to stare into her icy blue eyes. Holding up a BDSM whip, Esdeath repeatedly slapped Suzuka's back. With her back red in pain, Suzuka moaned as her tongue loled out. "You're to refer to him as master. Sows like you don't get to call him by name."
"Yes, Esdeath!" Suzuka yelled out as her face flushed red in lust. However, another pleasurable yelp escaped her lips when Esdeath smacked her back once again. "I-I'm mean, yes mistress!"
"Good." Esdeath said with a smirk, yanking Suzuka's head back and capturing her lips in a passionate kiss. After a few moments, Esdeath heard Tatsumi grunt and knew that he was likely getting close. Breaking their liplock, Esdeath continued to hold Suzuka's head back as she stared into her eyes. "Your master is about to cum, sow. Beg for it."
"PLEASE!" Suzuka exclaimed as a lengthy escaped her lips. "CUM INSIDE ME, MASTER!"
After a few more powerful thrusts, Tatsumi fully hilted himself inside Suzuka and filled her with his seed. Suzuka groaned in pleasure as she felt Tatsumi's warm seed fill her womb. Her own body was wracked by a powerful orgasm as she broke out in goosebumps. After a few moments, Tatsumi pulled out his softening manhood, causing Suzuka to whine in disapproval.
"You were amazing as usual." Esdeath said in a sultry tone, crawling into the bed next to Tatsumi and rubbing her hand across his chest. "Now that Suzuka has had her fun, how about we-" Esdeath was cut off by a knock at the bedroom door. With an annoyed groan, she flopped back down onto the large. "Damn it. Your timing is awful, Akame."
"You guys are lucky the kids aren't in the house." Akame said as she stepped into the room, closing the door behind her. "Since you're finished, come on out, Tatsumi. Ieyasu is waiting for you."
"Shit, I almost forgot!" Tatsumi exclaimed, leaping out of bed and quickly getting dressed. Once he was changed, Tatsumi grabbed Incursio and stepped the teigu to his hip. Dashing toward the door, Tatsumi stopped for a moment to give Akame a kiss. "Thanks, Akame! Love you!"
"Since my fun with Tatsumi was spoiled..." Esdeath said as she turned her attention toward Suzuka and licked her lips. "I guess I'll make do with our cute little sow."
"I'm not staying for that." Akame said, leaving the room with Tatsumi. "I need to get back to Tsukushi and continue working on her sword skills."
"I can't believe I almost forgot I promised to train with Ieyasu." Tatsumi grumbled, rubbing the back of his head as he walked down the hallway. Reaching down, Tatsumi grabbed Incursio's hilt. "Why couldn't you remind me...partner."
"Silence human. I'm not your alarm clock."
"Ouch, so cold." Tatsumi said with a chuckle as he patted Incursio's gemstone. "Hey, at least you're talking to me now. I'll get through to you eventually."
"The first host I'm able to communicate with and it had to be someone as annoying as you."
"I don't care how long it takes, we're gonna be best friends again." Tatsumi said with a smirk, walking into their home's living room. He spotted Mine and Chelsea lounging on the couch. The pink-haired sniper was cleaning her rifle, while Chelsea was reading a book about advanced first aid techniques. "Hey, girls. Where's Kyle and Christina?"
"They're off fishing at the lake." Mine replied without looking up as she polished the rifle's bolt. "Cosmina brought Sheele and Emilia with them."
"Hey, Tatsumi..." Chelsea said, looking up from her book and stroking her chin. "You should think about shaving your beard. You look a lot cuter clean-shaven."
"No way." Leone said as she suddenly popped up behind Tatsumi. Over the past decade, Tatsumi had grown a bit and was now even in height with Leone. While she missed hugging his head between her breasts, she still enjoyed squashing them against his back. Reaching up, Leone playfully ran her fingers through Tatsumi's beard as she nibbled at his ear. "I love his beard. It gives him a manly, scruffy look."
"I like the beard, Chelsea...but I'll think about it." Tatsumi said, turning to look at Leone. "How'd your hunting trip with Bulat go?"
"It was great! We nabbed a big, fat deer!" Leone said with a grin as she gave a thumbs up. "I'm gonna go teach him how to clean and skin it! We're gonna eat good tonight!"
"Sounds great. Akame and I will cook up a feast." Tatsumi said, giving a brief kiss to his three lovers before he walked out of his home. Strolling past their garden and barn, Tatsumi soon made his way to a training area they maintained. There, he found his son Ieyasu eagerly waiting for him. Seeing his father, Ieyasu smiled brightly and ran toward him. "Sorry, bud! Did I keep you waiting?"
"Nah! I trained a bit with Mama and Tsukushi before you got here." Ieyasu explained in an energetic tone as he practically bounced with excitement. "So, what are we learning today, dad?"
"Well today, I figured you should start learning about something...someone...very important..." Tatsumi said, reaching onto his hip. Ieyasu's eyes widened in wonder as Tatsumi pulled out Incursio. "One day, I'll pass Incursio onto you son. And, when that day comes, you must treat this teigu with the respect that it deserves."
"I will, dad! I promise!" Ieyasu exclaimed with a massive smile as he eagerly nodded his head. "Are you gonna put on that awesome armor, Dad?!"
"Incursio is more than just armor, Ieyasu. He's my partner and one day he'll be your's too. Always remember that." Tatsumi said, reaching out and playfully ruffling Ieyasu's hair. Stepping back, Tatsumi held out Incursio's blade. "Now...watch closely!" Ieyasu watched in awe as red energy began to swirl around Tatsumi. "Yell out with all your burning soul!" Ieyasu smiled as he watched an armored figure appear behind his father, a rushing wind blowing past them. "INCURSIOOOOO!"
Tatsumi's Children and their Mother:

2. Kyle (Mine)

And done! With that, this story is officially over. It started with Incursio and ended with Incursio. Well, that was a much happier ending. Tatsumi and his harem are living peacefully with their children. I sincerely hope you all enjoyed reading this story and thank you so much for sticking with me for so long.
