Hi loves!...Okay, so my other fanfiction Save me Thomas will be put on hold, I really can't come up with anything. If you have any ideas for the next chapter please let me know. So I decided to create this one for now until I can find something to write about. This is my first Paper towns fanfic, and I really hope you guys like it. This is following the plot of Paper Towns with a few twists and turns (it's a slight AU). Any quotes italicized are quoted from the book and/or the movie. I do not own any of the characters(boy do I wish I did), but all rights reserved to John Green. Slight mentions of abuse in this chapter.

Prologue

Margo Roth Spiegelman.

The fine jewel of Florida, well, at least to Quentin. She was unique, mysterious, and beautiful. Out of all of florida, she moved into his subdivision; Margo Roth Spiegelman moved-in-next-to-him. She was the most fantastically gorgeous creature that God had ever created, her straight brown hair, the slight upward curve of her lips, her slender legs and the way her hips moved when she walked through the halls of school. Something else about her hips, an arm was always gripping onto one of them. That arm belonged to Jase, her boyfriend who made other guys look like that crappy burnt chip in a perfectly crisp bag of Lays. There was something about the two, she never acted as if she liked him all that much, but then she never acted as if she liked anyone all that much. Of course, Q assumed it was his cockiness and arrogant attitude, but no…

It happened 2 years ago, the first time he, well...hit her. She had blamed it all on herself, getting on her knees with a tear trickling down her left cheek. "Don't go, please, don't leave me." She had kissed someone at a party while playing truth or dare, it was a quick 2 second peck on the lips, but teenagers being so technically advanced, someone posted it on Instagram with the comment "Look who's got a new honey-pie". He had given her a ride home, as soon as they pulled into the driveway, before she could even unbuckle her seatbelt, her face was met with a warm calloused hand. Her head snapped up as if she had heard a gunshot, and his eyes were filled with a fire-like rage she'd only seen in the movies. Tears stung at the back of her eyes as she brushed her hand along her cheek, keeping eye contact with him. His eyes went from hate to endearment in a heartbeat. She shook her head and grabbed her bags before walking inside where he followed her. That's where the begging began.

Ever since then, hits come to her every day. She had to leave. She had to get away from this paper town, this ugly place full of paper houses and paper people. Margo was the paper, fragile and unique. Jase was the scissors, demanding and dangerous any way their used. And Q was the rock, shielded somehow by that fragile and precious paper, and would do anything to crush, bend ,and mutilate those devilish scissors.

No wonder she left…

I hope you guys are interested in reading this. If you would like me to continue, either follow or review. I love you guys!
