Well... it's been a heck of a long time. I'm sorry for posting the next chapter so late. I had to redo my work because I lost all of my rough-draft when my previous computer crashed and I have to calculate Naruto's status and skills causing me to lose interest in working on this story for a while. In addition, I'm taking my nursing job seriously as I got a full-time career with long hours of work. When COVID-19 hit, my workplace needed everyone...I mean every nurse to work where many had to do double shifts for many days. Don't expect any update soon sorry :( I have to earn my living and rest. But this story is not abandoned at all. I have so many ideas for this story. Wish you luck and stay healthy.

Chapter 10: Invite

Hiruzen Sarutobi knew today wasn't his day. He should have seen this coming as ominous signs started to appear. The first sign was waking up from his uncontrollable bladder control. Then his sandals broke when he put it on. After that, black cats cross his path, followed by bird droppings landing on his head. When he finally made it to his office, he thought his day wouldn't get worse. Well, he just jinxed himself further, as he had stacks of paperwork that never diminishes, his council members bitching about their problems on to him, Danzo scheming behind his back like a rat, and many more.

He inwardly wishes someone to take this damnable position while he wants to spend the rest of his life living in peace, like enjoying the rest of his life in harmony. But nope, Karma is a bitch to him lately as Maito Gai had to bust his door open, destroying it, while screaming "YOUTH!" causing him and his four hidden ANBU to flinch. Looking at the time, he grimaced, viewing it was close to midnight, and he deserved his rest, damn it.

Giving a long sigh, Hiruzen knew today will be a long day.

"Gai-san, please don't barge into my office next time, and how may I help you?" He asked, dreading for his impending doom.

"Hokage-Sama! I'm sorry to bother you as I have urgent news to discuss with you!" Gai yells like usual before his face became solemn, "I request this meeting to be private."

Seeing the Maito Gai of all people to be this serious, he signals his ANBU away and activates the seal to avoid any possible eavesdropper.

Seeing the area secured, Gai gave his report of what happened earlier. Hiruzen's calm expression slowly turned into a gobsmack expression.

"After dropping Uzumaki-San to a reliable medic-nin, I immediately made my way here," Gai reported.

Hiruzen stared at Gai with total silence, then he took out his pipe and began to smoke, trying to calm his mind before his mental health grew more detrimental.

Releasing a few puffs to calm his nerve, Hiruzen calmly asked the most obvious subject.

"I understand your training method to be quite arduous. Yet you sparred an academy student, especially Naruto-Kun, who happened to be a dead-last and infamous prankster. How many hours did you say earlier?" Hiruzen said, digging his ears with his finger wanting to hear it again.

"I believe it was eight hours, Hokage-Sama."

"Ah, eight hours...eight hours sparring with you non-stop until you knock Naruto-kun out with your Severe Leaf Hurricane that can maim Chūnin nin...ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!" He roared in anger and horrified hearing this. Even he would have a difficult time having a taijutsu match with Maito Gai, and sparring with him for one hour is absurd. Discerning Naruto-kun of all people to last eight hours with Green Beast himself was utterly insane.

"But Hokage-Sama, it was Naruto-Kun's youthful request to continue with the spar, and I urged him countless times to end the spar, but he wouldn't listen. So I had to disable him quickly before he hurt himself further." Gai responded, "Surprisingly, Naruto-Kun landed a clean hit on me. From my experience, I assume someone had trained him privately. I know the academy doesn't implement this type of training level, or this may sound absurd, he may have trained by himself, and the amount of progress he showed was astoundingly youthful."

Hiruzen quirks his eyebrow intrigue, hearing Gai's theories. He had never got any chance to visit the local prankster due to his relentless tasks. Now hearing from one of his top ninja informing Naruto's astonishing growth made him curious and cautious. He acknowledges that Naruto doesn't take his training and studies seriously. So what caused this shift.

'It might be the seal's weakening, but I need to confirm this with my own eyes.' Hiruzen thought.

"Gai-san, if Naruto-Kun asks you again for a spar, I want you to inform me so I can observe your training. Do you understand?" Receiving a nod. He deactivated the seal and dismissed Gai.

Taking out a crystal ball, he activates his Telescope Technique to observe what Naruto-kun is doing right now.

Meanwhile

Calmly, walking back to his apartment with deep thought, Naruto was discharged not too long ago, as the medic-nins were shocked to see him up and ready to go like nothing happened. He did overhear their conversation outside of his room regarding his unique chakra. Soon they came back discharging him. He would be delighted to be released this early. Yet, when he got this Gamer Power, his intellect became a lot sharper than previously, making him question this village is withholding something about him.

'It's obvious the villagers, especially adults, are hiding it. How can I be so blind!' He frowned. 'I need to investigate this without alerting anyone.'

Seeing it was getting dark, he made his way inside his home without any problem. Inside he quickly secured his place to avoid any unnecessary people spying on him especially, Anko. Seeing the coast is clear, he opened his inventory and took out two scrolls and one potion.

The first item he observes is the potion itself as the bottle shines like a jewel that can tempt any nobles and royalty to acquire for a high price. Inside, the color of the liquid is white, where he found it odd as every remedy he found has notable red liquid.

"Observe," he said, and his eyes widen, seeing the information.

[Diluted Elixir] (Rarity: Unique)

An extremely dilute version from the legendary potion itself, but does not grant drinker eternal life and eternal youth. However, it can cure any illness, recover lost limbs, and fully recover HP with powerful magic. The effect will only take place if a user drinks the entire bottle empty.

"W-W-What the hell..." Naruto mumbles in absolute shock. He did not expect this kind of potion to appear. Sure this elixir is said to be diluted, but still, this can change a person's life. If this is made public, numerous people would have killed to get their hands on this item.

After calming down, he placed the bottle inside his inventory for future use. Finally, he focuses on two scrolls he received for completing Gai's first spar and a bonus for mastering 'Academy Taijutsu Style.'

Opening up a Jutsu Scroll, he saw a familiar message that emerges in front of his face.

Naruto mumbles to himself. Seeing it was getting late, he was about to call it a night until a screen appears again, which annoyed him.

'What the.' shaking his head, he slowly turns his head around to examine where JiJi is possibly watching him. After seeing nobody else except him, he turns his attention back to the screen until it disappears. 'Is JiJi spying on me? How? unless he is using some special ninjutsu to do it.' Seeing nothing he can do, he went back to bed.

Next Day-Iruka Classroom

Iruka had a disappointed look on his face as he took a deep breath and releases all those years of pent up stress he had as a teacher. The reason for his negative mood was his knucklehead students, where half of them had forgotten to complete their week-long assignment.

Sure they gave him their reasons why they didn't finish their homework but, the majority of their reasons were downright pitiful.

"Sensei, Akamaru accidentally ate my assignment." Kiba pointed out as his white canine companion gave out a bark.

"Iruka-sensei, my partner didn't finish their part." Another complained.

Rubbing his forehead, he was getting tired already. "I should have joined ANBU when I had a chance," he whispers.

"SHUT UP!" He yells, shutting his students up. "For those who didn't complete their assignments on time. They will be staying after class to complete their assignment." He finished earning most students to whine.

"Tch, at least the dead-last did not complete it." A student in the back voice out, causing a few to laugh. Everyone in the class knows who they are referring to.

"I wouldn't laugh at him as he and his partner are the first ones to complete the assignment on time. I also want to point out that Naruto is not in the last place as he is improving his grades in class." Iruka rebutted, causing students to gasp in shock. Naruto completed the work on time and isn't the dead last! Presparteous!

Everyone glanced at Hinata to see if this is true. Hinata blushes to see numerous gaze at her. Seeing she wasn't responding, they then look at Naruto as he is currently staring outside, not paying any notice.

Feeling numerous gazes on him, Naruto quirks his eye seeing his classmates staring at him.

"What?" Just like that, a bell rang as he and Hinata pack up their stuff and left the classroom leaving the rest to process that Naruto really must have changed.

Sakura continues to stare at Naruto with a conflicted and frustrated look on her face. A few weeks ago, he was acting like his usual self being annoying as always. Recently, he became a completely different person as he grew taller, becoming mature, lost his baby fats, removed his monstrous orange jumpsuits, slowly gain impressive muscles. Suddenly, her cheeks start to flush to have those weird thoughts. Getting those unusual thoughts away, the main point she is making is the Naruto she knew suddenly changed. At first, she was ecstatic that he gave up on her. However, she later found out without Naruto pestering her nobody, focused on her. Every day she and the other girls would squabble each other over Sasuke and always end unsuccessfully. Slowly her confidence starts to dwindle, as she has no real social life or real friends to support her. Sure she has parents in her life, but they are too busy with their successful businesses to concentrate on her. Overall she is just a sad, lonely rich girl.

'Was Naruto the only support I had throughout my academy?' Sakura realizes as she develops a shocked look on her face. Then the feeling of both guilt and sorrow slam her hard knowing Naruto had never bullied or been mean to her as he always showed his kindness with his goofy smile. What did he get from her? She punches, belittles, and ignores him for years. She feels like a complete bitch, and worst of all, Naruto finally gave up on her.

She lost Naruto...forever...then something inside of her snapped.

Her eyes start to darken, griping her head tightly, and she began to hyperventilate.

'Um, forehead girl, are you alright?" Ino asked to see her rival in a panic state all of a sudden.

Stopping what she was doing, Sakura cough on her hand and reverts to a calm and collected self. Next, she looks at Ino with an annoyed look.

"What do you want Ino-pig? Don't you see you are breaking my concentration to get Sasuke-Kun" She said.

Ino gave her an annoyed look and look away from her ex-friend, and quietly mumbles 'whatever.'

Ino turns her attention to the door where Naruto left. Her interest in him starts gradually grow as she wants to find out Naruto's sudden changes and pique her curiosity as she is the gossip queen in the academy.

Hyuga Compound

'Well, this is awkward.' Naruto thought as he sees dozens of Hyuga guards either intensely staring or glaring at him. Hinata, who happens to be next to him, the color of her face is red, and he swore he sees steam coming out of her head.

"Brat!" One of the guards yell. "Why are you with Hinata-sama, and what is your purpose here!"

Looking at their levels, he sees the guard's levels are between 20-23. He was curious and eager if he can fight and defeat them as he survived Gai's crazy spar yesterday. However, his main goal was to drop off Hinata-chan at her home.

Before he gets to open his mouth, he sees a Hyuga girl pushing past the guards with a frown look on her face. She has dark brown long hair, lavender eye color, and wears an expensive kimono. She has the same figure and height as Hinata making her an attractive girl.

Using obverse, he quirks his eyebrow finding something quite interesting.

Hanabi Hyuga

Hanabi turns her focus on both Naruto and Hinata. Naruto can see how her eyes start to soften when she sees her sister. He confirms she does care for Hinata.

When she focuses on Naruto, he can see a slight surprise and interest in her eyes.

"I was expecting you Onee-Sama, but I wasn't expecting any visitor today, especially a boy," Hanabi said with a stoic face but a small hidden tease.

Poking her fingers together from embarrassment, Hinata began to stutter.

"N-N-Naruto-Kun, was dropping me off home Hanabi-chan."

Hanabi's mouth twitches lightly what her sister just said. Naruto suspiciously looks at her what she will do next. What she did next surprised everyone.

"Uzumaki-san, can I invite you for a nice cup of tea and snacks as you are a friend of Onee-Sama and escorted her home. It will be rude for me not to invite a guest. Hanabi said, covering her amused mouth with a kimono sleeve.

As everyone except Naruto and Hanabi had a shocked look. Naruto sees a glare from a middle-aged man, hiding behind a tree, who he recognized as one of a past prank victim and a Hyuga clan head. He does not look very happy to see him at all...Now he just activated his Byakugan making him look scarier.
