A/N: Only a couple weeks until all the shows return. I don't own any of the characters except my own.
It had been a week since Lisa was shot and had surgery. Lisa supported Trevor's decision not to allow Pauline to see the kids. She didn't blame Olivia for what happened. Hank and Olivia had taken Justin and Olive to look at the house and then they made an offer on it.
By the end of the week, Olivia had worked a ½ day to spend some time with the kids since Alyssa had physical therapy. After she picked them up at home, she took them to the 21st to see Hank. She got them out of the SUV and they went in.
"Hi Auntie Trudy."
"Is he here?"
"Yep. They all are."
They headed up the stairs and Trudy buzzed them in. They continued the rest of the way up. Daniel saw Justin right away.
Justin picked up Daniel and gave him a hug and a kiss.
"Hi there, pretty girl."
Lexie smiled at Justin.
Hank came out of his office.
"How's Daddy's girl? Can Daddy get a kiss?"
Hank put his face in front of Lexie's and then she gave him a sloppy kiss.
Olivia looked at Hank.
"What about me?"
Hank kissed Olivia.
"You busy for lunch?"
"I'm never too busy for you."
"Good. Do you want to join us, Justin?"
"Why not? I'm going to swing by and pick up Erin though."
"Where are we going to meet?"
"Sounds like a plan. Justin, do you want me to pick up Olive too?"
"That's ok. We're heading that way anyway."
Jay left and went to get Erin. Hank, Olivia, Justin and the kids left as well. Justin called Olive and they went to pick her up. They drove to the restaurant and Erin and Jay got there at the same time. Before they went inside, Olive got a phone call, so she took it. They all could tell it wasn't good news. When she was done, she hung up.
"We were outbid on the house."
Olive was pretty upset about it, so Justin wrapped his arms around her.
"Babe, it's not the end of the world."
"When are we going to be able to find a house that's just down the street from your parents' house?"
"It's not like they're trying to get us to leave. We have our whole lives ahead of us."
"Obviously you don't want to do this as much as I do."
"I do but I knew not to get my hopes up. We will find the perfect house when the time is right. Maybe it'll happen when we least expect it to, just like getting pregnant again. Don't get yourself so worked up about it. It's not good for you or the baby."
"I'm not even hungry anymore. I'll grab something later."
Olive went to get a cab and went back to the office.
"We even offered more than they were asking."
"I know, Dad. I know she really loved that house and the location was perfect. She is more moody now than she was when she was pregnant with Daniel."
"At this stage though, you didn't even know about it."
"Yeah, I know. I just don't want to see her so upset."
"None of us do. I'm just as worried about her as you are. I'm also worried about Erin. These kids are my grandchildren, so they're just as important as you, Erin, Noah, Lexie and Daniel are."
"I know that, Dad."
They went inside and ordered their food. Everyone went to sit down, while Hank waited for the food. Once he got the food, he took it to the table and then they ate. When they were done, Olivia and the kids took Hank and Justin back to work and Jay took Erin back to work. Lexie had fallen asleep but Olivia decided to go see Olive at the office. She drove to the Law Firm, got the kids out of their seats and went in. They expected Olive to be at the front desk but she wasn't there. Both Greg and Trevor were by the desk when they came in.
"Hey. Where's Olive?"
"We thought she was with you."
"She found out that they were outbid on the house and she's pretty upset about it."
"We haven't seen her since she left."
"Can you two watch them for me? Thanks."
Olivia handed the baby to Trevor and then she left. She wanted to see if she could find Olive before she called Hank. She drove to the house but there was no one there but Captain. She tried calling Olive but got no answer. Then she called Erin.
"Hey. After I dropped your dad off, I went to see if Olive was ok. Trevor and Greg said they hadn't seen her since she left for lunch. I left the kids with them and went to look for her. I'm at the house right now and she's not here. I want to see if I can find her before I get your dad involved. See if you can track her phone."
"I'm doing it right now. Nothing. Her phone must be off."
"I just called her before I called you. She must have shut the phone off after she saw it was me calling."
"You don't think the cab driver did something to her, do you? After that case we had this morning."
"Yeah, I know. I hope not but anything is possible. Do you want to help me look for her?"
"Ok. I'll come by and pick you up."
Olivia left and headed to the District to pick Erin up. Then they went to see if they could find Olive. After looking around for a while, they decided they needed to tell Hank and Justin. Olivia drove to the District and then they got out. They went in and then Trudy buzzed them in. Hank was out in the Bullpen when they came up.
"I went to see if Olive was ok after I dropped you off. Trevor and Greg said they hadn't seen her since she left. We've looked all over for her and I am getting so worried."
Hank pointed toward his office, so Olivia and Erin both went in. Olive was sitting on the sofa and Justin had his arms wrapped around her.
"Actually, no, I'm not. The cab driver I had wanted to attack me. He had no intention of taking me back to work."
"Attack you how?"
"He drove me somewhere other than where I asked him to take me. He turned off the cab, pulled a gun out and got into the back with me. He started touching me and kissing me but the only thing I could find in my purse for protection was hairspray. I sprayed it in his face and eyes and ran like hell. The first place I recognized was Station 51, so I went in there. Once I caught my breath and told them what happened, they called Dad and then he and Justin came to get me. I gave them a description of the guy and they found him."
"Hank, why didn't you contact me?"
"Because by the time we got to him, he was dead. It looks to be from a self-inflicted gunshot. We're still waiting to hear back from the ME and on the toxicology reports."
"Do you have a picture of the guy? We had a case this morning about a cab driver sexually assaulting his female passengers."
Hank showed Olivia the photo.
"That's him. Erin, call Kyle and tell him our suspect has been found dead."
Erin called Kyle.
"I didn't mean to step on SVU's toes on this one."
"It's ok. It ended up being your problem anyway."
"After what just happened, there's no way I'm ready to move out."
"Can I ask one thing?"
"I called earlier and it rang but then I had Erin try to track it and it had been turned off."
"I never turned it off."
Olive took her phone out of her purse.
"My battery is dead. How could it be dead? It was fully charged when I left this morning."
"That is pretty weird."
"What did you do with the kids?"
"I left them with Trevor and Greg."
"That'll do it."
"That was the first place I thought of to look for her, so I left the kids with them. Lexie was asleep. Olive, I'm just glad you're ok."
"I am too. My father sexually abused me and my mother let him do it."
"Oh, Olive, I am so sorry."
"I've been wanting to tell you but I never knew how to bring it up."
"It's not your fault."
"Then why do I feel so ashamed like I do with what happened today?"
"Did your father rape you?"
"It came close."
Olivia sat on the other side of Olive, while Hank got Jay and shut the door before sitting on the other side of Olivia. Olive ended up telling them everything. Until then, Justin had been the only one that knew. Hank got some tissues for the 3 most important women in his life, since all 3 of them were very emotional.
"I thought I had all this behind me but after what happened today, everything started resurfacing. There were many times that because I couldn't deal with things, I considered ending my life."
"Olive Sweetie, you don't ever have to feel like that. None of this was your fault. I can't stress that enough."
Justin had his hand on Olive's belly and he was rubbing it.
"Don't get yourself so worked up."
There was a knock at the door.
"Yeah, come in."
Antonio opened the door.
"Halstead, we need to go. Also, Trevor and Greg are out there."
"Later. Love you."
"Love you too."
Jay kissed Erin and then he left with the rest of the squad, while Trevor and Greg came in.
"Yeah. Her cab driver tried attacking her. She sprayed him with hairspray and ran to 51, who called Hank and Justin. Erin and I looked all over for her. We had given up and came here."
"There is actually something I think the two of you should know."
"We'll let you talk. By the way, Langan, where are the kids?"
"We dropped them off at our house."
Olivia, Hank and Erin left the room, so Olive could tell Trevor and Greg everything. Once she was done, neither of them knew what to say.
"I am so sorry you had to go through all that."
"I'm even sorrier that I used to represent those sleazebags in court. Not being a Defense Attorney anymore was the best decision I could have made for myself. Once I started helping Olivia with the adoption, we got to be friends, which I doubt would have happened if I had continued defending rapists."
"Thank you both for being so understanding."
"You can tell us anything. You know that."
"Thanks. I appreciate that."
Olivia, Hank and Erin came back in.
"Your mother didn't mind 3 more?"
"Not at all. Lisa was glad to have them there."
"We really appreciate it."
"Lisa wants nothing to do with her mother."
"Neither does Sarah."
"Lisa doesn't understand why her mother would blame you for her being shot. It probably would have happened whether you were there or not."
"I would like to think it wouldn't have happened at all if I had been there. Maybe it is my fault."
"Olivia, it's not. The rest of us don't blame you and that includes Lisa's dad. Lisa doesn't blame you."
"Maybe you're right. I should get Erin back to work, go get the kids and go home."
"Ok. As soon as they get back, I'll head home myself."
"Olive, take the rest of the day off."
"No problem. We'll get your SUV home to you, so don't worry about that."
"I appreciate that."
Greg and Trevor left and headed back to the office. Olivia kissed Hank, Olive kissed Justin and after Erin hugged both of them, the 3 of them left. Olivia took Erin back to work and then she headed to pick up the kids at the Langan's. Once she and Olive got home with the kids, she let Captain out and then they changed for the pool.
