Coulter Moves to the Moon

"Hey, Coulter," Seth Sorenson says, doing his best to hide the gold the satyrs had given him.

"Hello, Seth," Coulter Dixon says with a sad smile, leaning on his walking stick.

"What's up?" Seth asks.

"I will miss you, Seth," Coulter announces sadly.

"Why? Where are you going?"

"I have decided to move far away."

"The moon."

"THE MOON!?" Seth cries. "Why? And how will you stay alive?"

"This coin," Coulter explains, showing Seth a silver coin with a picture of the moon on it. "It's my moon coin. I have waited for this day since I found my coin."

"What does it do?"

"It will first transport me to the moon. Then I will set it on the ground, and it will become a hut with endless food, water, and air. I will bring my supplies, study the moon, and become the Man in the Moon!"

Seth stares at him. "What?"

"Here are a couple more moon coins in case you ever want to visit me."

"Farewell, Seth Sorenson!" Coulter cries. "You have taught me much!" and just like that, Coulter Dixon disappears. There is a brilliant, blinding white flash in the sky.

Twenty years later, scientists still wonder why 'Coulter Rocks!' is inscribed on the moon.
