guess whose back back again.

ok uh no one cares lol peace here are some words.

At seven a.m. as consistent as gravity, Sabrina pads into Pucks room. The smell of sleep and woods, greets her comfortingly. Outside the large windows, frost forms. Darkness still lays heavy on the town. Her thin t-shirt doesn't protect her from the cold, but the chill is almost welcome on her skin. She passes his mirror, and notes the way her cheeks flush from the cold.

"Don't let me become... a monster." The boy-fairy mumbled, the words escaping the sticky sweet preserve of sleep.

The words flipped in Sabrina's mind, anagrams formed, letters twisted- a monster? She paused to reflect on the build of someone growing into a man's form, the hard lines of his body, and the golden skin, and long lashes. She knew she needed to wake him up, school was in an hour, and no alarm in the world would be loud enough to dredge him out of his slumber. But, but-

Monster? Monster? Monster?

She tried to decipher the words in the way he breathed, in the way he slept with a hand closed over where his heart beat.

Earlier that year, he looked at her, and smiled, Only you. The words came out like a promise, smooth and warm.

Only me? Sabrina whispered back.

Can wake me up. Then he smiled, reveling in the way her shoulders fell.

For a second, her heart burned.

A monster, she could snarl, press her fingertips in the heat of his shoulder, you already are one.

Instead, she decides to leave his room and get ready for school. The smell of her conditioner is the only thing left behind.
