The standard disclaimer: I don't own Digimon and never once said I did. Anyways I can't remember who does own it.

You look around the room, surprise in your eyes at the sight before you. Fresh cut roses sit on the table their intoxicating scent filling the room. Lit candles are every place that they can sit, their light pushing back the darkness. Jazz music plays softly relaxing you as it floats on the cool air. Sitting on the table next to the roses is a note and a small box.

You pick up the note and unfolds it recognizing the hand writing without even looking at the name at the bottom. You begin to read:

Kari,

This letter is to tell you something special that I haven't told you in a long time.

I remember the first day I met you like it was yesterday, which with my poor memory is hard. For some reason it stuck in mind as one of the best times I ever had. Dinner and the mall were just a beginning to something that ended up being a lot of fun. I remember driving around and just talking getting to know each other which was interesting. Putt-putt ended up being such a blast even though you lied to about the hole in one thing. You owe me a rematch you, cheater.

Late when we just drove around going where ever the road took us. I couldn't stop looking at you. I was wondering what she is doing out on a date with a guy like me. I am nobody not ever having amounted to anything anybody's eyes, but I felt like something when I was with you. I felt relaxed and at peace like I belonged there with you. I just kept wondering when is the feeling going to end, I hoped it never would.

Enough about that stuff, what I am trying to say is, I never deserved you. You were to good for a guy like me. I just was came home after each time I saw you and prayed that it wouldn't be the last.

That's all I had to say, I guess, not that it mattered much.

Oh, the box is for you.

You open the box, and gift inside glistens in the candle light. You take the necklace out and box drops to the floor as you look at the object hanging from the necklace. Its a small band made from weaved gold and silver. On the top of the band is a small heart shaped emerald of a pale green coloring, it catches the light just right and seems to flash.

You wipe the tears from your eyes, and say softly, "What does this mean you, bastard?"

"Its means I am yours until you decide to get rid of me," I say softly from behind you," It means I love you deeply."

You turn on me tears running down your cheeks, "I don't ever want to get rid of you. You should I know I love you."

I smile softly, "I never said you didn't. I just don't think I ever told you how truly special you was to me. That first time we went out was a like dream, cause it was almost to real."

You kiss me on the lips softly and smile, "Daft clod, I knew on that first date I won you over, each time you looked at me. Your eyes said it all. They said I want to be with you forever, and never let you come to any harm."

I shake my head softly. "I failed on that last part. I let you get hurt to much cause I didn't know how to tell you long ago how I felt. I watched you cry yourself out each time you got hurt and didn't know what to do."

"You did what you were supposed to do, you was there for me," you hug me hard, "That's what I feel in love you with you. You was the one thing I could always count on to be there for me."

I kiss the top of your forehead, "There was another gift in that box, besides the necklace."

You pick up the box and pulls out the small card that was on the bottom of the box.

I love you dearly, and wish to remind with you forever. Will you marry me?

You begin cry, and turn to look at me. "Is this a joke?"

"What do my eyes say?" I look directly into yours.

You close your eyes and cry all the harder, "That your serious."
I pull you to me and hug you, "I love you, and want you to be my wife. Will you marry me?"
You kiss me hard, "Yes, I'll marry you."
