For the Drabble Game Challenge, Rabdromeda, "I didn't mean to wake you.", requested by Bex.

"You look beautiful in those," Rabastan whispers in her ear, his fingers brushing over the pearls resting on her neck.

"You can't be here," Andromeda says, turning to face him, her heart sprinting in her chest. "If Ted finds us together-"

"Ted," he echoes, a wicked grin twisting his lips. "Does Ted know that I gave you this necklace?"

Andromeda closes her eyes as he moves closer, leaving no space between them. Truth be told, she has missed the closeness. His presence sends a shiver up her spine.

Rabastan brushes his thumb over the pearls again. "So beautiful, Andi," he purrs.

"You could have had me," he sighs.

Andromeda's eyes open, her former lover's name in the back of her throat. "I didn't mean to wake you," Ted says apologetically as he climbs into bed beside her. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Andromeda's head spins as she touches a hand to her neck. The pearls are gone, and so is the man that she had once loved.

"Just a dream," she whispers, but she can still feel the shiver that only Rabastan has ever given her.
