Chapter 165 Returning home

Its been eight years since Godzilla defeated his old foe Zorc restoring the balance of the Earth and ending a major threat far worse than anything the Legion had ever faced.

After that Sean had resigned as Leader of the Legion and put Kratos in charge of the Legion so he could spend more time with his family.

Of course Sean decided to leave Earth for a more secluded home.

Living on Arcadia for the last eight years Sean had plenty of time with his family. (A reminder Arcadia is from Halo wars)

In the eight years since he stepped down the Legion hadn't faced a major threat since then.

Right now though

Sean was outside with a drink in hand watching the sun go down.

"Daddy!"

Sean smiled before seeing an eight year old girl who looked like a mini version of Diana but had his green eyes.

And then he saw another like her but she had more blonde hair and his eyes.

These were the Twins Diana had shortly after they left. The One with Diana's hair was Athena and the second was Hera.

"What is it girls?" Sean asked.

"We can't find Junior anywhere." Athena said making him sigh.

"I was hoping this wasn't gonna happen but I guess I can't say I'm surprised." Sean said getting up to find him.

Down in the labs we found a 14 year old Junior activating a portal.

Junior had been trained by both his parents since the turned 10 wanting to learn how to fight.

Now while he enjoyed the peace and quiet he wanted to do something with his life.

"Leaving without saying goodbye?" Sean asked making him face him.

"Look I love this place and all but I wanna do more with my life than just enjoying every day doing the same thing day in and day out." Junior said.

"Heh...Yup. You got that I wanna help people gene in you." Sean said making him chuckle. "Welp. I know your mother is gonna be sad seeing you leave but I know from experience one has to find their own path. So I assume you'll be joining the Legion then?" Sean asked.

"Course. Signing up for the Spartan ops division." Junior said.

"Welp. Whatever you wanna do I support it." Sean said making him smile.

Soon the portal activated.

"I had a feeling you were leaving." Diana said walking in still looking at beautiful as ever.

"Gonna stop me?" Junior asked making her smile.

"No. Just come visit ever month or so." Diana said making him chuckle.

"I know Kicker and Takami won't be far behind after I leave." Junior said as she kissed his forehead.

"I love you sweetheart." Diana said.

"I know. Bye Mom." Junior said going through.

Meanwhile

Kratos was in Sean's old office that had been redecorated after he left with Greek designs. (For his current appearance picture him from God of War Ragnarök with Armor Of Ares Flawless armor on)

After he was placed in charge nothing had changed much other than military operations with new weapons in development.

After Sean left he wasn't the only one. Several other Original Members of the Legion also stepped down or became part timers. Even the Military council had some members step down like Packard, Ross, Eiling, Briggs and Even Talbot stepped down from being second in command.

Now Brandon was Kratos's right hand man in the Legion as they had several new people take their old places.

Even the building was brand new. (Look up my DeviantArt Account Dragonlord012 and look up Legion headquarters)

Thats when the doors opened up.

"Anything to report on the Regime survivors?" Kratos asked.

"I think you're expecting someone else old man." Junior said making him face him seeing him again after 8 years making him smile lightly.

"Junior. This is a surprise." Kratos said as they left.

"So you decided to join the Legion instead of living a life of luxury." Kratos said.

"Ah, I enjoy the peace and quiet but I also want to do something meaningful with my life you know?" Junior asked.

"I do. Your father wasn't the only one who left when he did." Kratos said.

"How many others?" Junior asked surprised.

"Most of the original members. Others have become part time. New members are filling those ranks every day. Even members of the Military council decided to step down. Including Talbot." Kratos said.

"Damn." Junior said.

"I'm not surprised though to be honest. After the last major event 8 years ago it made some realize they hadn't spent as much time with their families as they had once believed. And with the Regime now down to only six concerning members they weren't needed as much." Kratos said.

"And who is all thats left anyway? I know Rawlings is one of them since Dad always had a major grudge against him." Junior said.

"Indeed. The others are Shredder, Destro, The Brain, DeVoe and Zola. Thats all that remains and even though they may not be as dangerous without their massive armies they can still cause trouble in many ways. That is why finding them is of top priority." Kratos said as they made it to a lab seeing it heavily upgraded from the last time he was here.

"Wow." Junior said.

"I assume you'll be joining the Spartan Ops." Kratos said.

"Yeah. Fits my style." Junior said.

Later

Arriving at the old barn he smiled seeing it again after 8 years before pulling out the key to unlocking it.

Inside he found the old gang relaxing.

"Damn!" Roman yelled losing a hand of Poker.

"I always win." Tej said grinning taking the pot.

"Man he's gotta be cheating. No one is that good." Roman said.

"Or maybe your just a lousy player with no skill." Junior said gaining their attention.

"No way. Junior?" Letty asked smiling making him chuckle.

"Well, this is a surprise." Dom said walking to him.

"Wheres your old man?" Mike asked.

"Eh it's just me. I got sick of that life of luxury crap. So I decided to come back." Junior said.

"HA! Pay up!" Tej yelled at Roman who groaned giving him more money.

"What the hell?" Junior asked.

"I made a bet that you guys would eventually come out of the life of luxury and he betted against it. Who's the dumb one now?" Tej asked.

"Dude why you gotta be against me little man?" Roman asked making him chuckle.

"So how's your old man doing?" Letty asked.

"Oh he's doing good. Mostly just sits out on the porch drinking that high class stuff or going fishing during the night." Junior said.

"I'll bet." Dom said.

Junior soon went up top to his Dad's old room seeing it still clean.

"Yeah we kept the place cleaned up. Figured one of you would take it." Mike said.

"Theres a lot of good memories in this place." Junior said.

Later

Junior was getting examined by medical before he could be considered for the program.

"Well?" Kratos asked.

"Physically and Mentally he's pretty good for the program. But I'm finding some strange anomaly in him. The only match is Venom. But he's the last of his kind though." The Doctor said leaving.

"Venom?" Roman asked.

"You know the big black ooze guy." Tej said as Junior came in.

"Oh I remember him. The big parasite thing."

"Parasite!" A female voice yelled annoyed shocking him as Junior turned into one of Venom's kind with lime green skin and roared at him making him scream rather girlish. "Do not call me or any of my siblings that again!" She yelled making him nod quickly as Junior took over laughing.

"Oh thats not gonna go away anytime soon." Junior said laughing.

"What the hell?" Roman asked in shock.

"Oh that was Acid. She's in me like Venom is in my dad. Gave us all one of them a few years back." Junior said.

"Damn." Roman said disturbed as she came to his shoulder.

"You got a problem with me dickhead? I'll tear off what makes you a man." Acid said making him yelp running off making the others laugh.

"Oh I like her." Tej said making her grin going back in.

"Yeah she's got a temper but we work good together." Junior said.

"Well, it will take time before your cleared for the program so I would suggest you prepare." Kratos said leaving.

"So all your siblings have one like her?" Letty asked.

"Not until you reach ten years old. Thats his rule." Junior said.

"Course he would make that rule." Tej said.

Later

Junior was in the barn playing an old game when the doors opened up.

"Well, I was wondering when one of you would show up." Talbot said walking in in more civilian clothes.

"I hated that whole life of luxury thing. I like action better." Junior said making him chuckle. "So you actually stepped down?" Junior asked.

"Ah. I wanted to spend more time with my family after that whole Zorc thing." Talbot said.

"So I keep hearing. Who did step down besides you and the military council?" Junior asked.

"Superman, Spider Man, Flash, Arrow and about 50% Of the founding members. Others are part time now and teaching the next generation." Talbot said.

"Like me?" Junior asked.

"Yup. Even Bruce stood down. There hasn't been any major incidents since the last one 8 years ago. Most assume the remaining members of the Regime have just given up." Talbot said.

"And you?" Junior asked.

"Oh they're waiting for the best moment to strike I know that." Talbot said.

"Well now."

Junior looked and frowned seeing Peter Ludlow.

"The hell you doing here? Get out." Talbot said.

"Oh and miss seeing my little cousin?" Ludlow mocked.

"We're not cousins." Junior said making him frown. "The whole family disowned you after that stunt you pulled." Junior said surprising him somewhat.

"Thats rather hurtful. Your father always said family was everything. Proves he's a hypocrite." Peter said.

"Is it hypocrisy when the person who tried to willingly and maliciously kill another family member first for money and power?" Junior asked making him frown having no retort. "I didn't think so. The whole family hates you for what you tried to pull. We almost lost everything because of you. The planet and the universe to a monster. And you wear that like a badge of honer." Junior said.

"I see this was a waste of my time." Ludlow said.

"Your existence is a waste of time. Thats what my dad said. Enjoy your remaining days of living Ludlow. You don't have much time." Junior said making him glare before leaving.

"Your dad would have just lashed out at him." Talbot said.

"I don't have any hate in me like him. I just what was true in the eyes of the world." Junior said before opening a portal before his Indoraptor and Spyro who was bigger than 8 years ago came out.

"Oh I forgot about them." Talbot said as the others came in before Indo looked at Roman licking it's chops.

"OH SHIT!" Roman yelled running away as it chased him making everyone burst out laughing at this.

"Oh thats never gonna get old." Junior said.

"Nope. It's the best part of the Roman series." Tej said laughing.

"I HATE YOU TEJ!" Roman yelled before screaming as he almost got bit.

Author's note: Now begins Junior's adventures up to the Infinity Arc. Now I do have some special surprises in store for everyone here. Next Chapter is gonna be full of them. And I know this question is gonna be asked. Who's gonna be Junior's girl or is he gonna have a harem like his father? Answer? Find out in future chapters.
