You Put a Move On My Heart

Inspired by Tamia's You Put a Move On My Heart

"When I think back to that moment, I must admit I also knew I'd give Clark my heart. I think we both felt the same way. It just took some time before we acted on those secret feelings." -Wonder Woman

Themyscira Embassy

Ambassador Diana Prince sighed as she leaned back in her chair. She had been working nonstop from summits, conferences, guest speaking, as well as everyday heroics with the Justice League.

It seemed that maybe today would be the day she could go home early and relax for just the night.

Knock. Knock.

She looked up at the door.

"Yes, come in."

"Excuse me, Miss Prince?"

"Yes, Jazmine?"

"You have a guest."

"Oh?" Diana questioned. "I don't believe I-..." Her heart beat picked up a bit. "Clark?"

"Madame Prince..."he smiled bowing slightly.

"Please...come in."

"Is there anything else, Miss Prince before I clock out for the day."

"No. Thank you. Have a good evening, Jazmine."

"You, too, Ms. Prince, Mr. Kent."

Jazmine closed the door.

"Have a seat, Mr. Kent."

Clark nodded and sat down. He smirked at her looking deep into her eyes...into her heart. Diana's breath caught in her throat again.

"So...what brings you all the way here?"

"Well, deadlines met, no missions. I believe you mentioned earlier this morning on the phone you would probably be free this afternoon. I thought what better way of spending an evening off than with my gorgeous best friend."

Diana blushed and smiled as her heart soared.

"You don't have to spend your evening with me, Kal."

Diana stood up from her chair and walked over to him leaning against the desk.

"But I want to...well I mean only if you want to. I'm sorry, I didn't even ask if you had anything planned."

Clark couldn't help but look at her sexy long legs. He was absolutely mesmerized by her curvaceous figure.

"Oh, no, no. I don't have anything planned. I are so sweet to think of me. I love the time we are able to spend together so of course I want to."

Clark stood up. They were now extremely close. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer into an embrace then kissed the top of her head.

Diana let out out a loving sigh and wrapped her arms around his neck. She closed her eyes and relaxed against Clark and his hands ran slowly up and down her back. Whatever stress or worries she had instantly disappeared being in his arms.

"Where did you want to go?" She asked looking up at him with half lidded eyes.

"I was thinking a quick trip to Japan. Don't worry. I'll have you home by 8. Promise."

She kissed his cheek. "As long as I'm with you it doesn't matter the time."

Tokyo, Japan: Ueno Onshi Park

Ueno Park is a large public park next to Ueno Station in central Tokyo. famous for the many museums found on its grounds. Ueno Park is one of Tokyo's most popular and lively cherry blossom spots with more than 1000 cherry trees lining its central pathway.

Diana gasped in delight as they reached the park to find it already crowded with people. Colourful picnic sheets and tatami mats were spread out on the ground at every conceivable space, placed two feet apart to allow people to move around. The sakura trees were in full bloom, their branches thick with flowers. The cool air was filled with the delicate fragrance of the blossoms as well as chatter and laughter.

Clark and Diana quickly landed behind a tree then blended into the crowded, walking hand in hand. Diana gazed up at the thick clusters of sakura flowers overhead. Sakura flowers fell on them like a gentle blessing from the skies.

"It's so breathtaking."

"It is. But you know what makes this even better?"

"No? What?"

"Your presence, Di. You are just so beautiful and no matter where you are, you just light up everything."

"Kal..."Diana smiled and blushed.

"It's true." He placed a kiss to her temple.

As they walked around the park and saw some people doing performances, the watched and listened.

Clark couldn't stop smiling as he watched Diana being so enthused and amazed.

"Oh Kal look at the children! So adorable!"

May I ask you something, Kal?"

"Of course, Di."

"Have you ever thought about having children?"

His heart jumped. "Oh. Uh...yeah...yeah I have. Marriage, too."

"Really?" Diana looked at him surprised.

"I've always admired my parents...both really, even with just reading the journal entries of my biological parents, Jonathan and Martha, Jor-El and Lara...that kind of love and commitment is why I am the man I am today. I got to learn and understand what it meant to not just be in a relationship but an honest life partnership. Whether adoption or having my own biological kids, I want that kind of strong family bond with the woman I love...If she feels the same and wants that, too, of course. We are just taking our time with everything. Enjoying each other. Her happiness is what's most important." He held her hand tighter. "What about you?"

Diana was speechless just gazing into his eyes.

Clark smirked and cupped her cheek with his other hand. "Diana?"

She glanced away for a moment then looked back him.

"I didn't think children let alone a marriage would be an option for me. My focus was so straight forward with my duties. Though, I have been given this very special feeling to believe in such things. It can be possibility for me. Someone I know very well...that I'm grateful to have in my life. Such a kind, sweet, honorably man, told me that there is more outside of being Wonder Woman and Ambassador. He has been taking the liberty of showing me those things, too. Cherishing every moment we have, taking our time. He makes me very happy."

"He is the luckiest man in the entire universe to have you." He leaned over and kissed her softly then pulled back. "It seems, I couldn't help myself. I hope you don't mind?"

"No, I don't mind at all...but are you trying to one up yourself?"

"Being my own competition to be the very best I can be for you? Challenge accepted," he smirked.

As they were watching a few more performances, the afternoon grew late. Clark and Diana didn't even notice how fast time flew by. Only when the sun started setting and the sky turned into various shades of yellow and orange, the wind started to pick up and the temperature dropped. Those who had brought coats, jackets and gloves started putting them on. Others just sat closer and rubbed their hands for warmth. Diana turned to see Clark's eyes on her, warm and intense. His lips quirked in a tiny smile and tightened his hold around her waist.

They watched the spectacular sunset from across the river, the water sparkling with a thousand diamonds until the very last rays disappeared from view. There was a pause... and then the lanterns strung from the tree trunks came on, turning the park into a magical wonderland.

Diana was once again in awe at the sight. Her eyes sparkled as brightly as the lanterns.

She motioned for him to look at her hand. Little pink petals fluttered from in between her fingers as she opened her hand to reveal little sakura flowers, slightly crumpled but still in single pieces, scattered across her palm.

Around them the wind continued blowing, stirring the tree above them and the grass below. The cherry blossom tree began to sway along with the wind, sending sakura petals to scatter about them. The petals from Diana's hands blew away with the wind, her hair beginning to whip about her face and almost blowing her over.

Clark chuckled and moved her hair behind her ear.

"I'll be right back."

Using his super speed Clark ran off then back in under 2 minutes.

"Here you go."

He handed her a beautiful vintage style red and gold Kanzashi hair pin stick with a tassel.

"Awe, Kal, I love it. It's so pretty!"

He smiled. "I figured you might like it," he said, handing it to her. She reached out and grabbed it, and stared at it in her hand.

"Put it in your hair," he said.

She took the hairpin and stuck it on one side of her hair, past her bangs, pulling some of her hair out of her face. Just as he thought, it looked really pretty on her.

"That's better?"

"Yes, thank you!"

Diana wrapped her arms around his waist, revelling in the warmth of him.

Clark held on to Diana, slowly rubbing up and down her back.

"Ready to get something to eat?"

Diana nodded against his chest. "Do you have somewhere in mind already?"

"Yes, I do. Let's go then."

Izuei Main Branch

Clark pulled out Diana's chair for her, always the gentleman he was, then sat down as well.

Diana's eyes wandered around the aesthetically pleasing cozy restaurant. The smell of the restaurant was so captivating.

"Kal, this is really lovely."

"Yeah, this is one of the best spots."

Diana took a deep breath, her eyes dropped at the handsome man, sitting in front of her. His ocean eyes shimmered like a sparkling gem, and she couldn't help but get lost into it.

"Did you want anything specific?"

"No, I'm fine with anything you order."

Diana watched him with a smile as he ordered their food.

When the waiter left, Clark reached his hand out for her and interlocked their fingers together. He smiled as his thumb brushed the back of her hand. "Tell me what's on your mind."

Diana took a deep breath. The blush on her cheeks increased immensely at his warm hand on hers. She sighed. "Nothing, really," she replied, smiling, but Clark didn't seem to buy it. "I've been in man's world for 7 years. There is so much I want to do, but it seemed so little time to spare. But you've made the time for me to have these experiences. Thank you."

Clark shook his head. "You don't have to think me, Di. I understand exactly how you feel. We can experience so many things together." He held onto her hand tighter, squeezing it, before letting it go.

When their food was brought out, they both looked amazed at the presentation.

"Wow! This is so nice, Kal!"

"Next time we're both have a full day or weekend off, I'll bring you back two we can do more touring."

"I would love that."

They stare in each other eyes for a while. Anyone knowing them would know what their eyes were telling at this exact moment.

They both ate their meal, looking at the other from time to time and more conversations and laughs.

After an extremely satisfying dinner, it was time for them to take flight back to Diana's place.

London...Diana's Condominium

Once again the flight was comfortably silent and they held hands the whole time, until landing on her balcony.

"I hope you aren't in a rush to leave?"

"Of course not, Di, but why?"

"I want you to stay with me for a little while longer."

"Are you sure?"

Diana smiled. "Get in here, Kal."

He chuckled and followed her. As he was closing the door, Diana didn't stop making her way to her bed room.

Clark smirked and walking into her bedroom, he saw that Diana was already getting undressed. He walked over to her, winding his arms around her waist. Diana turned in his arms.

His name on her lips is like heaven every time he hears it.

He pressed a gentle kiss to her lips.

"You should get undressed, too," Diana said, giving him a little kiss in return and tugged on the hem of his shirt.

The words are breathy on her lips and Clark realized it was just what he wanted to hear.

Clark quickly took off his shirt and pants. Diana's eyes roamed over his massive chest.

She reached out and traced the line of his jaw stopping at his chin to rub her thumb over his lower lip. A tingling sensation rubs down her spine when she feels his warm tongue dart out to touch her skin.

Diana then thread her fingers through his loosely. Clark felt something change in the air as he looked at her. Diana is strong in her gaze as she squeezed their palms together. A smirk covered Clark's ridiculously handsome face and he can't help but be enraptured.

"Do you know how beautiful you are, Diana?" Clark enjoyed the blush his words create more than anything. "How did I become the luckiest man in the universe to have you?"

"You are an amazing man. From the very first moment we met I knew..." she paused for a moment thinking back. "I knew I would give my heart you. My heart moves in such an unfamiliar way when I'm with you..or even when I'm just thinking about you. You thrill me in ways I've never known."

Clark gazed into her alluring depths, that are so innocent but lustful at the same time. Then, he kissed her forehead soundly.

Diana's hands moved to rest over the top of his heart and her cerulean eyes widen. His heart was thumping particularly fast, the same as hers. If she wasn't already aware of her power, she knew then.

Slowly, Clark inhaled the natural scent that is Diana and squeezed her just a little tighter.

"You know I'm not going anywhere at all tonight..." he said raising his eyebrows and smirking suggestively.

"I know...I wouldn't have let you leave anyway."

Still smirking at her, Clark scooped Diana up into his arms and gave her a deep kiss, a carrying her to the bed.

"I think we both know exactly what we're both thinking," he grinned, kissing her again before lying her down on the bed.

"I think we do," Diana agreed with a laugh, pulling Clark down on top of her and kissing him hard.

Their lips moved together, not parting for minutes. Diana wound her arms around Clark, holding him close to her. She let her tongue flick over his lips, seeking entrance to his mouth. Clark grinned, as he let his hand slide further up, fingers just touching the bottom of her bra. Diana's reply came in the form of a little whine, wanting Clark to touch her more.

Clark was all too happy to comply. He moved his fingertips across the base of her bra, never quite going underneath the material. He kissed her again, his lips now moving a lot more slowly.

Diana's fingertips danced over his skin, tracing every line, muscle and contour of his stomach. A soft whine left her as she felt Clark move his lips across her jaw, and then start kissing down her neck, sucking gently on the soft skin of her lower neck.

He gently pulled her to sit up with him. Diana straddled him as he kept his arms around her. Diana thread her fingers through his hair and threw her head back as he began to place kisses all over her chest, trailing his lips right down to the material of her bra.

Clark grinned again at the wonderful sound that it elicited from her.

He stopped and looked into her eyes. "Yeah, Diana."

She cupped his face.

"Not just for tonight...but every night we can have like this. I want you with me. I want to feel you, just like this."

Clark smiled, nodding and cupped her cheek. "I love you, Diana. What I said earlier, I meant every word. When it's that time, I want to take that step with you. I want to give you all of what you deserve."

"As did I. You are the man that will always have me heart. I want that life with you. I trust you and I love you, too," she said, her heart fluttering as she kissed him deeply.
