Harry Potter had had enough of Malfoys... whatever the fuck this shite was.

It wasn't subtle, nor mean, nor really anything he'd expected out of his last six years of knowing the poor bastard.

No. Harry'd had enough, and he was going to put a stop to it. Hermione was even willing to help, so long as he promised not to use anything particularly malevolent. (Harry knew himself it was a bad idea to use fiendfyre on the lad, thank you very much).

One hallway away from Ancient Runes, Draco Malfoy was dashing to class, in his long-striding walk, when he hit bars of light. Stopping, he looked around. They were everywhere. And they rather hurt to touch.

Draco Malfoy smelled Gryffindor, so he wasn't entirely surprised when Potter and Granger emerged from the cross-hall. "What happened to the Weasel?"

Potter's green eyes flashed, and he responded, "Still recovering from whatever the fuck that was in the Great Hall."

"Surprised you're showing up without backup." Malfoy sneered.

"It's two against one, Malfoy, I think we'll be alright. Besides, you're trapped, in case you hadn't noticed." Granger didn't need to sneer to be dismissive as fuck.

Malfoy flourished his hands, showing that he didn't even have a wand in them. "Well? Would you like to tell me what this is about?"

Harry's wand hand shook, that was how furious he was, "What the HELL is wrong with you?" he snapped, demanding an answer.

Malfoy smirked, "Absolutely nothing. Absolutely nothing." The second time he said that, he drew out the words in a manner he knew Potter loathed. Just to get under his skin. Might be the last time, after all. Why pass up fun?

"So, why have you ... kissed more Weasleys this week than you've done in the last five years?" Hermione demanded.

Malfoy closed his eyes, sniffed, and opened them again, raising his eyebrows. "I got better, that's all." And with one brutal flourish of wandless magic, he dismissed the bars and walked away.

Staring, the Gryffindors' eyes followed him, one agast, the other considering.

[a/n: You just knew that Harry wouldn't leave this alone, didn't you?

Harry should count himself lucky he immobilized Malfoy. Who knows what the not-gay boy might have done otherwise?
