"Aah! Geez! Fuck this, fuck GCSE's! Who needs 'em anyway?" Gilbert groaned whilst slouching on a chair next to Arthur, who was quietly revising from his organised pile of textbooks, dumping his schoolbag onto the floor – the albino teen gathered his textbooks before purposely slamming them on the table.
"Oi! You git, do you have to be so loud? This is a library" Arthur shouted/whispered in a hushed tone.
"Ooh! Well done Artie, this is a library" Gilbert mocked in Arthur's accent, which earned him an exasperated look from the blonde.
"Look, I'm sorry Artie, I'm just stressed" The , teen apologised, before continuing "I don't get how you revise, I always get distracted" The red-eyed boy, no I mean man sighed sadly. The boys had grown out of their awkward teenage phases and had entered what you'd call their glow-ups – they had long taken their braces off and their teeth had the 'perfect smile', the boy's acne had disappeared, leaving them with clear, pale skin. Lastly, their bodies had matured, Gilbert was no longer long and lanky he had the build of perhaps a dancer or runner. Arthur no longer short and scrawny but he had also developed – making him look a lot less like a girl…Actually, Arthur still looked feminine from the behind.
Looking up from the dull, boring textbooks, the concerned emerald stare met the frustrated crimson irises.
"Gil? Why are you worrying? Look from what I've seen you get pretty good marks without revising, and these are only mocks not the real thing. That's next year" Arthur stroked his whimpering friend's hair, trying to flatten the wild hairs that stuck out.
In response, all he got was a sad moan.
"Come on ya cry-baby, I'll help you" Arthur suggested making the albino perk up like a curious child, which only made the blonde giggle at his actions.
"You will?" His voice curious.
"Yes, now when's your first exam?"
"In two weeks…"
Arthur's friendly smile immediately turned into an angry scowl.
"You idiot!" Arthur hit him with a book, "We have an entire syllabus to revise!" Pinching the bridge of his small nose, Arthur sighed before turning to Gilbert.
"Well let's get started"
"Your gonna help me?" Gilbert's eyes lit up like a puppy's reaction to being offered a treat.
"Yes, you idiot" Arthur simply exhaled.
"Yes! I love yoouuu soo much, Artie!" Gilbert leaped around to Arthur and threw him into a tight hug.
The Brit was a blushing mess, his emotions askew and heart thumping loudly – his limbs felt like jelly whenever the other teen said those three
words. How could he say them so casually? It hurt knowing Gilbert only meant them in a platonic way, but Arthur always reassured himself
by saying that his best friend was also attracted to boys – it never fully worked though, since the blonde knew his friend didn't feel that way.

"I am so glad mocks are over, I never want to see another exam in my life" Gilbert flopped on top of his bed, wrinkling the neat, tidy covers, while Arthur plopped himself down on the foot of the single bed.
"Haha! Well, you better enjoy these last few months" Arthur teased, a hand in his head as he felt a headache coming on.
"Don't remind me, this isn't good for my awesome mind" The man sighed dramatically and stood up, so he could remove his uncomfortable blazer in this unbearable heat.
In the meantime, Arthur laid down in the once occupied spot, the pillow and duvet still warm from the teen's body heat. It smelt of beer, cheap cologne and…car oil? He expected the albino to have thrown himself on Arthur – using him as a pillow. But the blonde looked up to see Gilbert walking into the room, hiding something under his shirt.
"Mutti, Vati and Ludwig aren't home" The boy sent a suggestive smile towards the curious teen.
"And, what are you trying to imply?" Arthur got up, the strong, harsh summer rays glazing down through the window – hitting Arthur in the back. It was so hot?
Gilbert flashed a six-pack of Budweiser's. The green-eyed man lifted a bushy eyebrow, silently asking a question that the now topless albino picked up on.
"I thought we could celebrate the arrival of summer holidays and the completion of our year 10 mocks by some classic underage drinking" Arthur was still suspicious, "Come on! It's not like we haven't done underage drinking before" Gilbert whined.
"Fine but put a shirt on!" Arthur reluctantly agreed.
"Kesese! Can't handle my awesome eight-pack"
"Eight-pack? Oh please! Ha-ha!" Arthur snorted before asking Gilbert if he could borrow a shirt since it was too hot to wear uniform, to which the albino complied.
"Man, this is gonna most awesome holiday ever!" The two boys snickered, the alcohol already making them slightly tipsy.
The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is an academic qualification, generally taken in a number of subjects by pupils in secondary education in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each GCSE qualification is in a particular subject, and stands alone, but a suite of such qualifications (or their equivalents) are generally accepted as the record of achievement at the age of 16, in place of a leaving certificate or baccalaureate qualification in other territories.
Studies for GCSE examinations generally take place over a period of two or three academic years (depending upon the subject, school, and exam board), starting in Year 9 or Year 10 for the majority of students, with examinations being sat at the end of Year 11.
