Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Bride
Summary: Katie Bell has been alone for the last four years. After the wedding of her best friend, she heads to the Leaky Cauldron. After she gets drunk, will she make some mistakes that she'll regret later? Oliver Wood/Katie Bell.
First and Foremost, ALL the reviewers: There are WAY too many of you to thank. I have read, EVERY SINGLE ONE of the reviews, I know that's hard to believe, but I have. Thank you, thank you, thank you! After that five-month wait for chapter eleven, I was very surprised that I still had reviewers. You are WAY too nice to me, and increase my ego way too much, which Lisa knows that I try to get her to stop all the time. I never expected this story to be huge and successful. It has been in planning for nearly a year now, and I'm happy, and yet sad that it's over.
Pammy: Without your help, chapter fifteen would not have come to life as it did. I have never been pregnant, and thanks to you, I was able to portray it [sort of] flawlessly! Thank goodness you work in a hospital, eh?
Mrs. Bruno and Mum: Both women that have been through the pain of labor, and were kind enough to relive the terrors and pain of giving birth to help me in my story. Thank you.
Ilana: My best friend, thank you so so so so much for constantly listening to me jabber and jabber on and on about the stupid things about this story. You had to deal with me bitching to you for nearly a year, and you deserve a lot more credit than a small role in my story. But you gotta admit, it's a cool role!
Lisa: Thanks for badgering me to finish the next chapter. My chapters would have died and rotted without your constant persuasion that I was a good author and I needed to get up the next chapter or you'd absolutely die. You can imagine the strength it gave me, knowing if I gave up that you'd be the first to come and get me and throttle me in my sleep.
Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, Moulin Rouge Soundtrack, Mandy Moore, Celine Dione and other various artists : The late nights that stretched early into the morning of me pounding on the keys of my keyboard were to various music. You all made it easier to stay awake, trust me.
Nick: Giving personality flaws to Oliver. Don't take it personally! A lot of boys can't dance that well. Including my brother! ;-)
Jai: Being a nice tutor and encouraging me to work on my story. Thanks for letting me check my reviews during tutoring time as well. You're too nice to me. Just like everyone else.
WebMD.com: The easiest resource on finding out about pregnancy. It saved my sanity at times, so thank you for existing.
Daniel: I think you were the only one that really actually understood my psycho babble. Thanks for always asking about my story, instead of me having to bring it up by myself.
Allie: Your bloody story got me hooked on Katie/Oliver fics, and it is all your fault that I spent a whole year of my life trying to finish this story. Thank you so so so so so so much.
Tamora Pierce: No, I don't know her personally. I met her twice, but I'm going to highly doubt she'll remember me, and if she ever reads this...HAH. Her books are the ones that I read every time I got stuck in a rut. Her development of writing style throughout the course of her books never fails to inspire me. I actually read her bio, and she started out writing fan fictions, just like me! I might have a chance at being a professional author!!
Britts: Ack, my History buddy. Listening to me complain endlessly about my story is enough for you to get an acknowledgement. I must have been such a pain in the rear all those months.
Tanya: Giving me the idea to have Katie say "Goddess" all the time. Giving Katie and Alicia most of their little quirks.
Hot Peppermint Tea w/honey: Yes, like Katie, I am a tea fanatic. And it is very true that almost any kind of tea tastes good with honey. But Lisa knows that I get so hyper with this stuff inside of me, and the first couple of chapters were written on a sugar high from those. Thank the honey. It started this story.
i o u a name and Loraliant Angelisa Snape: Thanks for letting me join you blog. I love both of your fan fictions, they're great, and it's fun sharing the creative process with other writers instead of my own head. It gets very crowded in there!
My i-Pod: All my favorite songs in one place. HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!
J.K. Rowling: Without her fabulous books, I would have NEVER been able to write this story. Truly, she deserves all the credit.
I love you all!! Thank you. But as much as I hate to write these two words...
