AN1: Yes I know it's been awhile since I posted for this story. I have been working on other stories in the meanwhile you know. Plus I just having trouble having interesting thoughts on how to do the "Sea of Monsters" book without these side plots of what Naruto is doing during the non summer months. Remember he only HAS to go to Camp Half Blood during the Summer due to the condition Zeus put on him in chapter 3. The rest of the year he can go anywhere with his parents. Yes I know its just over a year since I updated this but like I said I had tons of writers block for this.
Chapter 31 book 2 chapter 4 Luna is awesome 'sister'!
Several months later the rather large family of the Hunt, Naruto and Gods enjoyed Naruto's time with them. Since it was no longer summer, he was allowed to stay with them and not go to Camp Half Blood. Yugito since she was essentially a 'ward' of Apollo and Artemis. It also helped she absolutely adored Naruto and they were two peas in a pod albeit it was clear to Apollo Naruto harboured a crush on the older blonde Jinchuriki.
'If not for the trust and love father had for Artemis and a lesser degree me then something like this would not be allowed. It could easily be seen as one Olympian 'training' their Demigod to have too much power in comparison to the Council.' Apollo thought as he watched his son practicing infusing chakra into his silver arrows with a proud Artemis and Leto watching him like Mama Bears.
'Or rather a challenge to him.' Apollo thought with a hint of amusement as despite what Demigods thought or believed Apollo knew better then most just hos selfish the King Zeus after Father really was. He was not blind to how the Council existed more as an extension of Zeus's power rather than truly a democracy or having true political power.
There was also one more addition not seen during the summer for a rather pragmatic reason. A massive and beautiful wolf with silver fur like Artemis eyes and sunny golden eyes like Apollo's hair. However, the wolf was special in more ways than one.
"Who's a good girl? Who's a good girl?" Naruto cooed as he scratched the beautiful wolf under her chin. The wolf let out a pleased yelp that sounded almost like a purr as she sat in Yugito's arms and enjoyed scratches from both Yugito and Naruto.
"I still cannot believe this is the same wolf you introduced me to awhile ago. She was the size of small rhino but now she is the size of an average dog." Yugito noted as the wolf looked up at her and gave her something that resembled a toothy grin as she wagged her silver tail happily.
"Luna is not just a wolf and certainly not a monster. She is very special to me. She can freely keep growing and change her size to any size she was at any point. I can ride on her back if I wanted to or she can ride on my shoulders if she wants." Naruto explained as Luna nodded her head.
"Jinchuriki…. I mean sorry Yugito… I am Naruto's sister in the sense I was born from the powers of Mother and Father like him. My purpose is whatever Naruto needs me to be." Luna added as her voice was rather soft making Yugito nod down at the wolf. Luna and Yugito gave Naruto a nod as he continued to practice his archery while Luna was cuddled up in Yugito's arms.
Apollo blinked when he felt his favorite Aunt Hestia appear in burst of Flames which he lazily waved off the heat as Hestia appeared in her 18-year-old form to be similar physical age as Artemis and Apollo while appearing abit younger then the roughly 23-year-old Leto.
"Hello Aunty Hestia." Apollo greeted her cheerfully as he got down to a knee in respect making Hestia laugh.
"Hello my dear Apollo. How many times do I have to tell you that bowing to me of all Gods is not necessary. I am the last Goddess who requires worship after all." Hestia reproached him but her eyes showed nothing but affection and amusement as she covered her mouth to stop her giggles.
'Becoming a father has much improved his personality. Despite it being eons since he tried to wed and eventually bed me. That time was so silly especially when Poseidon tried to make it a contest for my affections. That was so odd at the time. As flawed as Zeus is I am happy he granted my request for my eternal celibacy and virtue. I love children but I have no need to make them myself…' Hestia thought to herself as she resisted the urge to facepalm at her mental rambling.
'Hmm it seems being around Naruto for quite some time has made his childlike rambling rub onto me. Although he doesn't do it as much anymore, I still remember him being so curious about the world even Apollo and Artemis could barely keep track of him once he could start walking and running.' Hestia mused before she blinked.
After several minutes as she shook her head to clear her head. Naruto had managed to his mother and grandmother's standards infuse chakra into his arrows quickly and efficiently.
She turned to Apollo who seemed to be able to guess her thoughts by his knowing smile. They watched Naruto practice his fighting skills by dodging the slashes of his sisters at the same time. Despite his protests they always used blunted weapon to avoid actually breaking his skin and making him bleed. Despite it the sheer numbers against him Naruto's training showed as he used his unique Taijutsu style to bat away their hands as they slashed him.
"You have become quite a good father Apollo. I am sure you don't me to say it but I am proud of you." Hestia told him with a rather warm smile that Apollo thought seemed to make her entire face shine.
Hestia like whenever she was around Naruto was 'about 18' in physical appearance so she was still shorter than Apollo who appeared in his mid 20's. She looked up at him as she placed a hand on his shoulder with those blazing eyes that made all of Olympus feel at ease. Apollo in return gave her a grateful smile that showed his sincerity and happiness. Unlike one of his usual smiles, it was smaller and not nearly as forced or bright as people who knew him saw. This smile was one that only the small group of his mother, Hestia, his sister, his son and Hunters were allowed to see.
Hestia smile grew slightly as her warm red eyes gained a teasing glint as she playfully batted her eyes.
"You know I don't feel romantic love towards anyone nephew. Whether it's the mighty Poseidon or Apollo or even if it was Lord Zeus himself, I would not allow anyone into my bed. Please don't tell me after thousands of years you still yearn for my hand in marriage?" Hestia asked innocently but her slight smirk and her swaying on her feet showed she was certain of his answer.
'I can understand why I thought I was in love with Aunt Hestia all those years ago. Perhaps it was the need for some sort of older female presence in my life as mother was not as welcome on Olympus as we would have liked? Now that seems like a different life and different Apollo compared to the one I am now.' Apollo mused as he looked down at Hestia with neither lust neither romantic desire but rather sheer gratitude and familiar love.
"Please don't tease me Hestia." Apollo whined as he felt cold pressure as he and Hestia looked out the corner of their eyes to see Artemis staring at them suspiciously.
Artemis to her credit did manage to look like she was only focused on her child and daughters fight but the two Gods could sense Artemis watching them out the corner of her eyes. They could even feel the slight twitch in her Godly aura showing her displeasure.
Artemis appeared to disappear and reappear instantly in front of the Gods while keeping her eyes on her son and the Hunters.
"Hmm I suppose you are having a good conversation? Might I ask what it is about? Unless its something only you two can know about? Something I suppose Minato and HER would talk about?" Artemis asked lightly but her corner of her mouth was twitching and her eye was narrowed every so slightly.
Hestia couldn't help a slight giggle seeing the clear signs of jealously of the usually cold and aloof Maiden Goddess while Apollo barely resisted the urge to slap his forehead in exasperation.
'Despite quite different after becoming a mother to little Naruto, my dear niece still returns her father pride and won't openly admit his feelings. Sigh is quite the flaw with us Gods huh? It seems we would rather keep our pride intact then be happy with the truth.' Hestia thought in retrospect. AN2:
"My dear Artemis. You have nothing to fear. I was just talking about how great a father Apollo has become towards your child. Nothing that would be inappropriate or suggesting something that is private to just me and Apollo." Hestia stated calmly as she flicked her wrist as the air itself seemed flicker before transforming into bowls of ramen which manifested into the 3 Gods arms who caught them without thinking about it.
Apollo and Artemis looked at the bowls with surprise and looked back at Hestia with dry looks. Hestia smiled as she lightly blew a breath to cool down the hot Ramen before she used her left hand to hold it while holding chopsticks with right hand delicately.
"What is the issue? Naruto told me how much your mortal selves enjoyed Ramen in the other world and even asked me how to make it himself. It's not exactly my speciality as its not a 'home cooked' meal that people on this side of the world would make. It was fun to spend time with my Godson to learn the recipe together and test the food ourselves. Something silly and fun to do." Hestia stated fondly as she somehow managed to slurp up the noodles and vegetables without making a single slurping noise.
She had somehow made something informal into something elegant seemingly without trying as she gave hums of appreciation as she picked through the noodles.
"Still not particularly healthy and something Sister Demeter would disapprove as despite being a starch-based product it is not her ideal 'wheat' based. However, it is salty and delicious so something that can be enjoyed once in awhile to make it special." Hestia mused as she looked expectantly at the Gods.
When the Gods stared at her Hestia frowned every so slightly before she sighed.
"Am I losing my touch? I know you are not your mortal selves but I still thought you would enjoy my cooking. Sigh. Forgive me for assuming that you would like something as plain as ramen. Here I will clean up for you." Hestia declared with her head down as she was about to wave her hand to cause the food to vanish.
Apollo and Artemis eyes widened as they looked at each other with distress.
'Hey get eating! We will not cause Aunt Hestia to cry!' Artemis telepathically hissed at Apollo who frowned at her.
'You are the one who is denying that anything from Kushina carried over! I am perfectly fine admitting Minato is not something in the past.' Apollo retorted making Kushina scowl.
Artemis and Apollo then bowed their head as they waved at Hestia to stop her from vanishing the food away.
"Thank you for the food! We will try it right now!" Artemis and Apollo chanted as Hestia stopped her hand and looked at them.
"Alright. Please dig in and give me your honest opinion." Hestia stated kindly with a smile but the Gods could see Hestia smirk and amusement making them sigh.
'She totally is playing us. She might be the kindest of the Gods but she can get people to agree with her with even a single tear. We do not cause Hestia to cry. That is Olympus's unspoken law.' Apollo noted to himself as Hestia was truly the glue that kept Olympus united even if it was not well known to mortals.
Artemis and Apollo quickly slurped up and drank the ramen including the broth but like Hestia they managed to do it without making much if any noise. This showed Gods at least to a certain degree could project their higher level of dexterity to mortals and Demigods even through something as something as drinking soup and eating noodles.
"Well? Did you enjoy it? I know Naruto has enjoyed my ramen before albeit we usually take turns eating and making each other's ramen." Hestia noted fondly as she glanced at her Godson who was continuing to train with his sisters or rather having playful contests of archery with them.
"It is as good as any of your cooking and you know that we all love your cooking above all others Aunty." Artemis told her with a sigh looking notably annoyed at eating something Kushina enjoyed greatly.
"Oh you. Thank you, Niece, for the compliment. It is always nice to have your cooking appreciated. Just a simple thank you can go a long way." Hestia replied cheerfully with an eye smile with her lips curved into a pleased smile.
Apollo and Artemis shared a look of exasperation at Hestia fishing for and successfully getting a compliment on her superb cooking that went without saying surpassed any other Gods including Hera who would never claim to have cooking surpassing her elder sister.
'Hestia likes getting praise in a different way then Gods usually do but she does make it hard to not praise her. She is so sweet that not even father can say no to her when she does ask for something.' Artemis thought with amusement.
"Aunty Hestia!" Naruto squealed as the three Gods turned around to see the excited 12 year old blonde Jinchuriki shash forward appearing as a yellow blur of endless energy.
Hestia smiled as she squatted down to pick up her grand nephew/Godson with practiced ease as he swung him into the air making him giggle with glee.
"Hello Naruto. Have you been a good boy for your parents?" Hestia asked kindly as she held him in one arm while her other hand arm patted his head warmly.
"Yup! We are having fun hunting monsters with my sisters and Yugi-chan! Yugi-chan and I have been improving the amount of time we can use our Tailed Beast Modes and Transformations without burning through our chakra!" Naruto informed Hestia eagerly with a grin.
Hestia looked past her smiling Godson to see the Hunt on a knee while Yugito bowed to her waist.
"Lady Hestia. It is always a pleasure to see you. Thank you for the honour." Zoe stated diplomatically as she kept her head down in respect.
Hestia playfully rolled her eyes as she set Naruto down onto the ground and ruffled his blonde spikey red tip hair warmly as he grinned up at her.
"I keep telling you the formality is not needed. You are part of my family and you are dear to Naruto, Artemis and Apollo." Hestia told her cheerfully as she waved her hand as bottles of water appeared in front of everyone.
Everyone eagerly grabbed the water bottles and drunk large portion of it after their training sessions.
"Force of habit my lady." Zoe stated simply as she and the rest of the Hunt along with Yugito stood up.
'It is nice to have a few immortals who don't need their butts kissed for being immortal. It does get so tedious having to be polite to even Minor Gods who would try to bed me if not for the fear of Lady Artemis wrath.' Zoe thought revealing her annoyance of Immortals in general besides her 'mother' and 'father' aka the Twin Archers.
'I kinda wish all the Gods were as kind as the three of them especially Lady Hestia. However, from what Lady Artemis and Lord Apollo have told me pride and power lust is definitely something most immortals have in common.' Yugito thought ironically thinking similarly to Zoe despite neither of them knowing each others thoughts.
Hestia nodded as she seemed to look into the Hunt before focusing on one with a gentle smile.
"Has Naruto been a good brother Chloe? I know he can be abit absentminded but I know he means well." Hestia asked but the twinkle in her eyes showed she meant it in good fun.
"Aunty!" Naruto whined as Hestia resisted giggling at her Godson's cute pout.
Chloe bounced on her feet as she nodded eagerly several times.
"He is the best brother we could ever ask for! Despite being abit taller he hasn't changed at all. Still my little Naru and bro!" Chloe informed her proudly as Naruto pout vanished as he smiled happily at his favorite or second favorite Hunter sister.
Hestia nodded as she turned to Yugito with another kind smile as Yugito smiled back with ease.
"Are you doing alright Yugito dear? I hope this arrangement is not too strict for you. I do feel it is abit unfair that you need an escort wherever you go in this world but I do understand my brother's reason." Hestia asked carefully as everyone glanced into the sky.
It seemed everyone was expecting some sort of Thunder to show Zeus's displeasure or annoyance but the sky was clear. It appeared even Zeus dared not openly show disapproval in front of Hestia.
"It is quite alright. I will say I find this arrangement the most optimal. I would probably get bored at Camp Half Blood and I think it would tedious to tell teenage boys what 'no' means." Yugito stated with a wave of her hand showing she was aware of the effect her good looks had.
Yugito then had a huge and warm smile as she turned to Naruto as she placed her soft hand against his cheek and rubbed. She giggled when Naruto 'innocently' blushed at her affection while Luna and Zoe growled softly at the attractive blonde Jinchuriki. Luna had leapt into Zoe's arms with Zoe absentmindingly scratching her ears.
"Plus I get to spend all this time with Naruto-kun so how could I possibly complain?" Yugito added giggling into her hand as her fellow Jinchuriki leaned into her touch.
"Yugi-chan…" Naruto mumbled as he couldn't help but crave the affection of the older Jinchuriki even if Yugito herself thought it was rather innocent.
Artemis coughed loudly as Naruto took a few steps back with his cheeks red. Yugito took a quick bow to Artemis and Apollo. Artemis gave her a stiff nod and polite smile while Apollo gave her a kind smile.
"Thank you, Lady Artemis and Lord Apollo, for being the ones to watch over me. I know Lord Zeus would have assigned me to another God if you did both couch for me. I will admit I do not think I would have enjoyed it if someone like Lord Ares was my watcher." Yugito said with appreciation looking uncomfortable with the idea of having Lord Ares being in charge with her.
Naruto growled in annoyance at the idea of his least favorite God having Yugito under his control and watch. Yugito smiled at his protective nature while the Hunt nodded along with Yugito showing they agreed it was best Ares would not be in charge with the beautiful Jinchuriki.
"Ares would either be degrading Yugito at every turn to make her crave his approval like he does with his own children." Apollo whispered to Artemis who frowned.
"Or try to get into her pants or at least her onto her knees. If not making her dress up in skimpy outfits for his own sexual desires." Artemis whispered harshly knowing Ares had a rather healthy libido and would barely restrain himself at the idea of having a beauty like Yugito be forced to follow his commands.
Hestia gave a knowing look to the twin archers before smiling at Yugito and Naruto.
"That is good we are in the best position then. This truly warms my heart that Naruto has someone like you Yugito to keep him company." Hestia stated happily making the blonde Jinchuriki nod happily.
Seeing Naruto blush slightly at Yugito closeness made Hestia feel abit mischievous.
"Perhaps in a few years when Naruto becomes a man, I can rest easy and intrust him to you Yugito? To keep Naruto honest and happy?" Hestia suggested with an 'innocent' tone but her smile and smirk showed she knew what she was suggesting.
Most of the Hunt also didn't get then hint as shown by Chloe just nodding along happily.
"Yeah, Miss Yugito would be great to help support Naruto when he grows up too!" Chloe chirped getting a smile from Hestia.
Zoe and Luna looked rather annoyed as they glared slightly at the beautiful Jinchuriki which was missed by both Naruto and Yugito. It seemed they were unaware themselves they were showing notably hints of jealously at the thought of Yugito becoming Naruto's girlfriend in the future.
Apollo gently grabbed Artemis's wrist when Artemis briefly looked murderous in protective rage at Hestia's suggestion.
"Remember it's Naruto's choice who he ends up with. We are his parents not his masters. We can only support our child and accept his choices." Apollo whispered to Artemis whose eyes were flashing for a moment.
Artemis let out a sigh as she slipped her wrist out of Apollo's grasp but did briefly hold his hand showing her appreciation for him. This also showed a very subtly hint of her own love in her own way for him.
"Thank you. I do appreciate you keep my over protective nature in check... Apollo..." Artemis whispered gratefully as Apollo just smiled wider.
"Huh? I mean I don't intend to leave Naruto-kun any time soon or in the future so of course I will be here to support him when he becomes a man." Yugito stated cluelessly as she tilted her head.
Naruto had to control his breathing and blushing at the not-so-subtle implication his beloved Aunt teased him with.
'Yugito-chan… my girlfriend? My… Wife?!' Naruto mentally squeaked as he had to shake his mind of Yugito smiling sweetly at him while wearing an engagement ring.
'Okay I gotta get that imagine out of my mind! That is so far into the future and I am not ready to think of things like that!' Naruto insisted as he regained control of his blush.
Luna growled before there was a flash of light as a young girl of roughly 12 years old appeared where Luna once stood. She notably had similar peach coloured skin as Naruto with silver coloured hair and golden eyes similar to her wolf form. She wore red shirt and silver jeans with two silver bracelets on her wrist.
Luna possessively hugged Naruto who lost his blush as he hugged his sister in her human form with a smile. Luna had a small smile as she hugged Naruto back letting out a content smile.
"Don't worry Luna. I am not leaving you either. I just don't you like coming to Camp Half Blood with you as you would rip out the throats of a lot of campers who annoyed you." Naruto pointed out as Luna pouted she snuggled into his neck.
"I wouldn't kill anyone at that camp. I know it would reflect poorly on you along with the Hunt and Mother and Father." Luna claimed with an emotionless expression.
"Luna…" Naruto stated showing he didn't believe her.
"…. I would simply break their wrists. Those Demigods have Nectar and Ambrosia. They would heal and learn their place." Luna stated flatly as Naruto saw behind her the Hunt barely managing to hide their smile and look of pride.
Yugito looked astonished at the human form of the massive wolf. Hestia sighed with a look of disapproval, his mother looked rather smug while his father looked embarrassed at his 'daughter' actions and abit exasperated.
"Remember Naruto. I am here to serve you. My place is beside you in any circumstances." Luna added with a smile but her tone was still rather emotionless.
Naruto pulled back but kept his hands on her shoulder as she looked blankly at him.
"We still need to work on you getting emotions of your own. Maybe I should bring you to Camp Half blood in human form. That way you can meet my friends and learn how to interact with people better?" Naruto suggested as Luna continued to look blankly at him.
"I don't see why I need to learn to interact better with humans besides you brother. However, if you want me to come with you, I will oblige." Luna stated with a nod before giving him a protective look.
'After all, when Naruto reaches maturity my promise to serve all his needs will not vanish. If he needs experience then I will gladly offer my chastity in human form to him. Compared to that oath dealing with a few Demigods at that camp is hardly the worst thing I would deal with for his sake.' Luna acknowledged silently.
Zoe coughed as she looked expectantly at Naruto and his parents giving them a knowing look.
"Nah Zoe. We will not you and the Hunt got to camp… again…. Dionysus and Chiron complained last time you burned down half the Cabins for some silly reason or something or other. I do not need those kids shunning Naruto by association just because you are a tad protective." Artemis stated firmly as she waved her hand dismissively.
Zoe and Chloe pouted as Naruto gave them a sympathetic look while Hestia and Apollo shared a knowing look.
'Not too long again Artemis actually agreed burning down the Cabins 'was justified' but ever since she has raised Naruto her view is no longer so black and white. It is quite the nice change.' Hestia mentally commented to Apollo who smiled nervously.
'If memory served my cabin was one of ones that got burned down. Sigh. My poor Sunshines prayed to me and I couldn't summon a mansion for them to live in. Stupid rules.' Apollo replied back with a hint of sadness at the thought of his Demigod children.
Hestia gently placed a hand on Apollo's shoulder making him smile but they both shudder when they felt Artemis giving them an elegant but notable stink eye at the back of their head.
"I heard that. If you don't want me to listen in then you have to tell me or I instinctively listen in these mental conversations. Just as you two do my conversations of course." Artemis pointed out as she crossed her arms and tapped her foot.
As Apollo put his hands in front of him in surrender, Hestia once again giggled into her hands.
Yugito leaned into Naruto's shoulder as she looked over at the Gods with a curious expression.
"Any idea what they are talking about Naruto?" Yugito whispered as Naruto hummed and tilted his head.
"I could guess but I don't think its relative." Naruto stated before he tapped his fist into his palm with his eyes in realization.
"Mom! Dad! I want to go somewhere!" Naruto yelled as instantly the Hunt, Hestia, Apollo and Artemis surrounded him while Luna stood behind him protectively almost as if she was his shadow.
"What is sweetheart? Do you want us to travel somewhere out of the US?" Artemis asked sweetly as she squatted down to Naruto's level and used her soft hands to rub her son's whiskered cheeks. She smiled widely as she stared into her son's blue eyes with silvery light that she loved.
Naruto shook his head before he grinned widely.
"There is someone I want to see! Someone who isn't at camp but I think you will be able to find them!" Naruto stated as Artemis looked at him with a smirk.
"No matter who it is I can track them. Is it a God or Goddess? Please tell me its not Ares." Artemis asked as she and Naruto shared a collective shudder.
Yugito turned to Hestia with a curious raise of her eyebrow.
"Is Lord Ares really that bad? I know God of War and everything but it seems Naruto-kun is oved by all the Gods as far as I can tell." Yugito whispered to the Kind Goddess of the Hearth.
Hestia bit her lip as she pressed the back of her fingers into her ceek seemingly struggling.
"My Nephew Ares has always been…. Difficult. He revels in conflict as a God of War but unlike my Niece Athena finds even annoying and riling up our own family something fun to do." Hestia whispered back carefully with notable restraint.
"Matter of fact if you had come to this world without the protection and being a ward of my dear Apollo and Artemis and the consent of Lord Zeus. Ares would likely try to bed you and have a demigod with you. He is rather lustful as well and cares little about the mortals he has children with." Hestia added as a warning.
Yugito looked rather unimpressed as she looked over her well manicured and cared for red polished finger nails.
"Oh so one of those guys. Sigh. I get a lot of those 'admirers' back in Kumo as well. They tend to come after me to get into my pants since I have these good looks and because they think 'bedding a female Jinchuriki' is some sort of accomplishment. So gross but luckily Lord Raikage is rather protective of me so besides looks and love letters', they usually leave me alone especially if he is there in person." Yugito commented drily as she remembered Matatabi almost taking over her body to slice an old man who was a client trying to touch her ass while she was walking in front of him.
Hestia looked like she split between disapproval and amused judging by her slight giggles into her hand.
"While I don't approve the use of lethal force, I will admit you standing up for yourself against perverted men is certainly something I approve of. I believe Athena would like you if you spoke. She likely would consider you a daughter of sorts or even someone to have a Champion in the future." Hestia mused as she put a hand on her chin and looked at Yugito with approval.
Yugito smiled widely as her dark eyes shone with happiness.
"I consider that a great honour my Lady. I will keep that in mind but right now my main goal is to be there for my little Naruto. Watching over him is what makes me happy." Yugito explained as Hestia nodded.
"It is nice he has friends like you. Being a Jinchuriki is certainly one thing that binds you together but I feel in the future a deeper bond then friendship will form." Hestia noted with a mysterious smile.
"Huh bond? What bond? Naruto-kun is simply very important to me and I couldn't see my life without him in it now." Yugito asked looking rather cute with a head tilt.
Matatabi inside of Yugito just giggled finding her partner's innocence at romance rather adorable with Hestia giggled into her hand but didn't reply.
"No mom not Ares! I need you to find my friend Piper! Piper something who I think is with her father. She didn't tell me her last name but I think you should be able to find her regardless" Naruto insisted innocently as he smiled at the thought of his female friend.
Apollo and Hestia sweatdropped while the Hunt, Yugito and even Luna inched away with a shudder. Artemis with smiling sweetly but leaking out killer intent that Naruto alone seemed to be ignorant or perhaps Artemis was intentionally not aiming towards her baby boy.
"Piper? That sounds like a girl's name Naruto. Who is she and where did you meet her?" Artemis asked carefully to hide any sign of accusation from her tone around her child.
"Oh! I met her on the uest to get Lord Zeus's Master Bolt! She was at the Santa Monica Beach! She is abit younger than me but she is really nice! I promised her I would see her again but I don't know where she lives or anything." Naruto exclaimed before he looked abit sad at the end.
Artemis pressed her feelings down and smiled kindly at Naruto.
"It's alright my child. Ah so she is that child. Let me talk to Aphrodite and she will be able to find her daughter for you. We will go as a group afterwards and then you can meet your… friend like you promised." Artemis told him as Naruto smile grew making Artemis happy again.
"Really Mom? You mean it? Oh, so Piper was a daughter of Aphrodite! I knew it! She seemed pretty like Silena so it makes sense they are sisters!" Naruto babbled on while Artemis eye twitched but she kept her smile on her face.
'I know Apollo is having a field day with us. Our son going to meet a girl his age and us being there to chaperone is something he would consider a drama movie!' Artemis thought in annoyance as she could almost feel her twins grin splitting his mouth apart.
'Plus, Naruto is far too young to think of girls as 'pretty'! He should not be thinking of anyone like that except for me as I am his mother!' Artemis mentally raged before calming herself down.
"Sigh Now to meet that Goddess and ask her for help. Please wait here for abit my dear Naruto." Artemis grumbled before leaning down to let Naruto kiss her cheek warmly and for her to kiss his forehead in return.
She gestured with her hand as the Non-Immortals turned their heads away as she - vanished in bright silver light of power. She returned to Olympus where she assumed Aphrodite would be at that time.
After a few seconds Naruto turned to Apollo and looked confused.
"I know Mom and Lady Aphrodite domains are pretty much no overlap and perhaps are in competition with each other but is Lady Aphrodite really that bad? Mom treats atalking to her like talking to an enemy but Silena and Piper have been so nice and they are her daughters." Naruto asked his father who chuckled.
"Aphrodite is a free spirit. She is used to her getting her way and Artemis is pretty similar in that way. It just so happens that loves to tease Artemis who gets riled up rather easily by her. Don't worry though I think Aphrodite would actually be rather sweet when you are together." Apollo explained as he ruffled his son's spikey hair.
"Really? Then I can't wait to meet her! Maybe I can get Mom and Lady Aphrodite to get along?" Naruto chirped innocently as Hestia and Apollo exchanged an amused look.
'You are part of the reason why Artemis will always be on edge with Aphrodite. I doubt you will fall for Aphrodite charms directly but the fact that two of her daughters have already shown an interest in you makes your overprotective Mother 'Mother bear' traits on full alert.' Hestia mused.
'It doesn't help that Aphrodite will likely pamper you being that you are the ultimate source of entertainment for her and she might actually develop mother like feelings for you in the future which is something that Artemis is not looking forward to.' Apollo thought as he could imagine Aphrodite convincing his innocent son to call her 'mother' for 'the future'.
AN2: I feel even though she only appears in one back out of the entire series "the Last Olympian" (which refers to her) in canon after his own father Lady Hestia is the Goddess Percy Jackson is on best terms with by far. In this story where she was actively around raising Naruto she has evolved abit as well. She is still rather kind but passionate as well (in chapter 3 she directly interfered in the affairs when it came to baby Naruto fate.) So the time around Naruto and his parents has given her some retrospect on the flaws of the Gods too. If she had to describe her own flaw in this story, she would probably describe herself as 'too passive' as she willingly gave up her throne and never intervened with her family affairs.
